I was having fun creating a set with Beautysets and I have decided to make a set with my top morning essentials. People following me on Twitter already know that I am not a very morning person.
I am not saying I'd want to sleep until very late everyday, but I sure hate the alarm clock and also I would like to have the time to enjoy a slow breakfast, reading the newspapers, and starting the day in a peaceful way. Instead, during the week mornings are for running and trying to look a better version of myself. In the image above you can find my top picks that help me surviving an early wake up:
1. A miracle brush that is so helpful to keep my hair into shape and prevent them to go frizzy and protects my dry ends
2. Concealer and Brightener that make my skin look better and hide my dark circles caused by lack of sleep and also too much time in front of a pc screen (you know, it happens when you work in an office and when you blog during your free time !)
3. A blush with coral/peach tone, to give some natural color to my pale skin, so I don't look like a carachter from Twilight, in the morning !
4. A vibrant color lipstick to add some energy and to make me look awaken even tho my brain is still in a stand by condition (justsaying !)
5. Obviously, nothing could have any effect without the King of breakfast, the fuel to my body: coffee !. I am officially addicted !.

Mi stavo divertendo a provare Beautysets e ho deciso di creare un set con i miei prodotti essenziali del mattino. Chi mi segue già su Twitter sa che non sono una persona esageratamente mattiniera.
Non dico che vorrei dormire sempre fino a tardi, ma certamente odio il suono della sveglia e mi piacerebbe avere il tempo di godermi una bella colazione lenta, leggendo i giornali e poter iniziare la giornata in modo pacifico.
Invece, nel corso della settimana, le mattine sono tutte una corsa contro il tempo per cercare di sembrare la versione migliorata di me stessa. Nella immagine potete trovare le mie scelte per sopravvivere ad un brusco risveglio:
1. Una spazzola miracolosa che possa aiutare a tenere la piega ai miei capelli tendenti al crespo e secchi alle punte
2. Correttore e illuminante, magica coppia per migliorare la mia pelle e nascondere le occhiaie dovute a poche ore di sonno e anche a troppo tempo al computer (tra il lavoro in ufficio e il blog nel tempo libero !)
3. Un blush dal tono corallo/pesca, che possa dare colore al pallido fantasma che sono appena sveglia, per non sembrare un personaggio di Twilight
4. Un rossetto dal colore vibrante che faccia sembrare più sveglie anche se in fondo in fondo il cervello è ancora in stand by
5. Ovviamente, niente ha effetto senza il re della colazione, la benzina per il mio corpo: il caffé ! Ne sono dipendente !.

March, 21st...start of Spring season !. If you were waiting for floral, pastels and all things Spring in an outfit, you still have to wait, since it's been raining so much and it still looks like winter.
Today let's talk about our sudden cravings for weird things, caused by fashion...there was a moment a few months ago when I felt I needed a tiger head sweater, a trend that started from the now famous Kenzo sweaters, objects of desire for many fashionistas all over the world.
I pretended I wasn't affected by this tiger head trend, until the moment when I saw this low cost version, from Pull & Bear, that seemed a good compromise - add to this that I loved the black and white with golden tones theme and that it had sequin - in a few minutes I knew I needed it !. Here we are, this tiger sweater and that plated chiffon skirt are another perfect match for the "husband series" (I already told you my hubby doesn't love maxi skirts, but from the pis you can say how happy I feel when I wear one !)

21 Marzo...inizio della stagione primaverile !. Se vi aspettavate un post tutto stampe floreali, colori pastello e roba del genere dovrete ancora aspettare, dato che ha piovuto molto e fuori sembra ancora inverno.
Oggi parliamo degli strani desideri che ci fa avere la moda...per esempio, c'è stato un momento, qualche mese fa, in cui ho sentito la irrefrenabile necessità di avere una maglia con la testa di una tigre, un trend iniziato da Kenzo con le sue ormai famose felpe amate dalle fashioniste di tutto il mondo.
Ho resistito al richiamo della felpa con tigre, per poi capitolare davanti ad una maglia versione low cost, di Pull & Bear, che mi è sembrata un buon compromesso - in più, la tigre aveva anche delle paillettes, capite ? Mi è piaciuta la combinazione di bianco, nero e toni dorati dell'applicazione. Eccoci al dunque: la maglia con tigre e la gonna di chiffon a pieghe rappresentano un abbinamento perfetto per "the husband series" (vi avevo già parlato dell'avversione di mio marito per le maxi gonne ma, dalle foto, potete vedere quanto io sia felice di indossarne una !).

Very proud that my sweater had a sequin tiger head (take this, Kenzo !) I matched this sequin tiger sweater and black pleated skirt with my Loriblu ankle boots and the "Too hot to handle" tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs (see details above).
If the weather had been warmer at the time, I could have worn the sweater without a black turtleneck underneath, of course, but you must have realized I am not your ordinary steel body fashion blogger than doesn't suffer the cold, I am very health concerned and most of all - I am shopaholic and hypocondriach in equal way, ha ! :-P.

Orgogliosa di indossare la mia maglia con tigre di paillettes (prendi questa, Kenzo !), l'ho abbinata insieme ad una gonna a pieghe nera, con stivaletti di Loriblu e la borsa "Too hot to handle" di Marc by Marc Jacobs (i dettagli nella foto sopra).
Se la temperatura fosse stata più calda, avrei indossato la maglia senza maglioncino nero sotto, ovviamente, ma ormai dovreste aver capito che non sono la solita fashion blogger dal fisico d'acciaio che non soffre alle basse temperature, io mi preoccupo della mia salute e soprattutto, sono ipocondriaca almeno quanto maniaca dello shopping, ahah ! :-p.

I can't wait for sunny, warm times and also for a couple of days off from work.
I will surely wear this pleated skirt again, maybe with a white tee or shirt, what do you think ? After all, black and white is a winner combo for Spring/Summer 2013. I am just wondering what is gonna be my next weird fashion craving, after raccoon sweaters and tiger head sweaters !.

Ho aggiunto all'outfit un bracciale rigido con gli spuntoni, occhiali di Dolce & Gabbana e rossetto e smalto Chanel.
Non vedo l'ora che faccia più caldo e anche di avere due giorni di ferie che sogno da tempo.
Indosserò senza dubbio ancora la gonna a pieghe, magari con una t-shirt o camicia bianca, voi che ne pensate ? Dopotutto per la Primavera/Estate 2013 si vince facile con la combinazione bianco e nero ;-). Dopo maglie con procioni e maglie con teste di tigre, mi chiedo solo quale sarà il mio prossimo strano desiderio causato dalla moda !.

Today's outfit post is featuring a casual look with a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse sneakers, one of my fave looks for sunny days in this slow start of Spring !. In this "rock" inspired outfit I decided to wear my Marc by Marc Jacobs see thru bag I had told you about a while ago for the first time ;-).

Per questo outfit dai toni "rock", ho deciso di inaugurare la mia borsa semi-trasparente di Marc by Marc Jacobs, della quale vi avevo già parlato in un post precedente ;-).

The jeans are brand new, from Replay, and the studded beanie is from Asos. I opted for some red details with a red lipstick and a red turtleneck underneath the Pull & Bear sweatshirt. In the pic below you can see the bag better, it's actually pretty comfortable even for a person like me, used to very large bags. I decided to show off my wallet and my iPhone, but I could have just kept everything in the "hidden" inside (I even had my iPad mini inside the bag, so there was enough room ).

I jeans sono nuovi e sono di Replay, ed il cappello borchiato è di Asos. Ho ripreso qualche dettaglio nel colore della borsa con il rossetto ed un dolcevita rosso indossato sotto la felpa di Pull & Bear.
Nella foto sottostante potete vedere meglio la borsa, è abbastanza comoda anche per una persona come me, abituata a borse davvero grandi. Ho deciso di "mostrare" nella parte trasparente il mio portafoglio e il mio iPhone, ma potrei benissimo aver tenuto tutto al riparo dagli sguardi indiscreti all'interno (all'interno avevo anche l'iPad mini, per cui c'era abbastanza spazio ).

In the last couple of pics, you can also see the grey coat I was wearing, together with a grey scarf. This "rock" outfit makes me think about how much I love music. What is your relationship with music and what kind of music do you listen to ?. I couldn't live without, I have 3 iPods with all my fave music on them and I bring at least one with me all the time. I like many styles of music, from rock to romantic ballads, from pop to techno and house music, even latin music and cuban salsa...I think my music tastes are just as eclectic as my fashion sense !.
I also have a true passion for revival music, 70s and 80s dance music and I wish everyday life could be like a musical, where people sing instead of talking and dance in the middle of the streets without looking crazy !.

Nell'ultimo paio di foto potete vedere il cappotto grigio che indossavo, oltre alla sciarpa.

Questo outfit "rock" mi fa pensare a quanto io ami la musica. Qual è la vostra relazione con la musica e quali sono i vostri generi preferiti ? Io non potrei vivere senza, ho tre iPod pieni zeppi delle mie canzoni preferite e ne porto almeno uno sempre con me. Mi piacciono generi diversi, dal rock alle ballate romantiche, al pop, alla techno ed all'house, anche la musica latina e la salsa cubana...credo che i miei gusti musicali siano eclettici tanto quanto i miei gusti in fatto di moda !.
Ho anche una vera passione per la musica "revival", in particolare la dance '70 e '80 e vorrei che nella vita di tutti i giorni ci si potesse comportare come nei musical, dove la gente canta anziché parlare e si può ballare in mezzo alla strada senza sembrare pazzi !.

I've been wanting to buy a Longchamp Le Pliage bag for quite a long time, and last week I finally did it. I went for a Le Pliage Cuir, same shape of the classic - and iconic - Le Pliage bag, but crafted in soft leather. This color, named Paprika (a vibrant coral red), caught my attention among all the available colors and choosing this one was pretty easy.

I am such a bagaholic that I couldn't wait to go out with it, and the very next day I took a walk on the seaside with my new baby.
Roomy but very light and even ready to be folded to travel with me, as well as with a comfortable shoulder strap: I love this bag and I bet it won't be my last Longchamp item !.

Era da diverso tempo che volevo comprare una borsa Le Pliage di Longchamp, e la settimana scorsa, finalmente, l'ho fatto. Ho scelto una Le Pliage Cuir, stessa forma dell'iconica borsa Le Pliage, ma in morbida pelle. Questo colore, chiamato Paprika (un rosso corallo vivace) ha attirato la mia attenzione e, tra tanti colori disponibili, scegliere "lei" è stato facile !.

Sono talmente appassionata di borse che non vedevo l'ora di fare un giro con la mia nuova "piccola" e il giorno dopo l'ho subito portata con me per una passeggiata in riva al mare.
Spaziosa ma leggerissima, pieghevole per essere portata facilmente ovunque ed anche dotata di tracolla: amo questa borsa e so già che non sarà il mio unico acquisto da Longchamp !.

Let me introduce you to a pair of boyfriend jeans that I finally like. I have loads of skinny jeans but it wasn't easy to find boyfriend ones that fit me the way I wanted. I found them at Zara (trf), and I decided to wear them with studded stiletto pumps and a striped top, trend for Spring/Summer 2013, for a casual chic look.

Lasciate che vi presenti un paio di boyfriend jeans che finalmente mi piacciono ! Ho tanti jeans modello skinny ma non è stato altrettanto facile trovare un paio modello boyfriend che facesse al caso mio. Li ho trovati da Zara (trf) e ho deciso di indossarli con un paio di pumps con il tacco a spillo ed un top a righe, molto trendy per la stagione Primavera/Estate 2013, per un look casual chic.

In the pic above you can see details of the studded pumps you had already seen with a dress. The long black vest is another purchase from Zara. The only pops of color in this outfit are the bag and the nail polish, same color as my Longchamp ;).

Nella foto sopra potete vedere le pumps borchiate in dettaglio, le avevo già mostrate indossate con un vestito. Il lungo gilet nero è un altro acquisto fatto da Zara. Gli unici tocchi di colore in questo outfit sono la borsa e lo smalto, dello stesso colore della mia Longchamp ;).

Even my woolen coat was in black-grey tones, you can see it in the following pics. I love it so much and I like to wear it with dresses as well as with jeans.

Sincerely, I really love mixing elegant clothes with casual ones, I think the outfits featuring a mix of styles are also the most interesting ones, what do you think ?.

Today I am very glad because I am going to have a couple of days off from work starting tomorrow, for Easter holidays, yay ! The weather is gonna be bad...rainy and kind of cold, but it doesn't matter...I am going to bring my Hunter boots with me, this is sure !.

Anche il mio cappottino in lana era nei toni del nero e del grigio, come potete vedere dalle foto seguenti. Mi piace molto indossarlo sia con abitini più eleganti sia con i jeans. A dire il vero, una delle cose che preferisco è mixare capi più classici ed eleganti con capi più casual, trovo che quelli realizzati con un mix di generi siano i look più riusciti, voi che ne pensate ?.

Oggi sono felice perché da domani sarò in ferie per qualche giorno in occasione della Pasqua, evviva ! Il meteo prevede pioggia e temperature non certo primaverili, ma va bene lo stesso...di sicuro, porterò con me gli Hunter boots !.

Happy Easter to all of you ! I wish you a special day, I am spending Easter having some fun with my hubby in Sorrento, where my internet seems to work only in hotel.

How did your Easter holidays go ? Mine went pretty well, in spite of the pretty cold weather. It seems Spring hasn't sprung yet ! Time for middle season outfits, with still quite warm keeping clothes and a touch of new ;). It's the case with this ethnic print blazer from Maison Scotch, with a touch of neon, to give a bit of light to this transitional look !. After all, there is still a lot of time to sport sandals and summer clothes, so let's enjoy what we have now !.

E' il caso di questo blazer in felpa di Maison Scotch, a stampa tribale con un tocco di neon. L'ho usato per dare colore ad un look "di transizione". Dopotutto c'è ancora un bel po' di tempo per sfoggiare sandali e abiti estivi, per cui è meglio godersi ciò che si ha adesso !.

I absolutely love this tribal print blazer, I will surely wear it also with jeans and on a simple t-shirt, if this neverending winter goes away !.

I decided to give a pop mood to this look with this Guess sweater featuring Marilyn Monroe from a past season. As skirt, I went for a black pleated mini skirt in fake leather.

I also added a (no brand) necklace with color matching the cardigan.

Sono innamorata di questo blazer a stampa tribale, lo indosserò parecchio, sicuramente...anche con jeans e su di una semplice t-shirt, sempre che questo eterno inverno si decida a lasciarci in pace !.

Ho deciso di dare un tocco pop a questo look con una maglia di Guess raffigurante Marilyn Monroe, di una collezione passata. Come gonna, ho scelto una minigonna in finta pelle.

Ho anche aggiunto una collana (no brand) di un colore abbinabile al cardigan.

As bag of choice, I went for my green Prada duffle, and since I was having a pretty busy day, I decided to betray my high heels for a pair of comfy biker boots. I am happy about my choice because I like pleated miniskirts with bikers or loafers more than with pumps !.

Come borsa ho scelto il mio bauletto verde di Prada, e siccome la giornata si prospettava molto intensa, ho deciso di tradire i tacchi alti per un paio di comodi bikers. Ne sono felice perché a dire il vero preferisco le mini a pieghe con bikers o mocassini, più che con le pumps !.

According to fashion magazines and runaways, the neon trend that dominated last year is here to stay also for Spring/Summer 2013. I have to say at first I wasn't too happy about these news, because last year I went in neon overdose (see here and also here if you don't believe it !) and I was afraid I'd be sick of it.

I then realized we can use neon in small details, without abusing, and it can still add a special touch to an outfit, like I did with this look, giving a new life to an old sweater.

The most important thing is choosing neon items wisely, just like I think I did with this Maison Scotch cardigan. This way, we won't have to sign up to neonaholic anonymous ! ;-).

Secondo le riviste di moda e le passerelle, il trend del fluo che ha dominato l'anno scorso è rimasto anche per la Primavera/Estate 2013. Devo ammettere che all'inizio non ero tanto felice di queste news, perché l'anno scorso ho fatto overdose di neon (guardate questo e questo post se non ci credete !) e ho avuto paura di esserne ormai nauseata.

Poi ho capito che possiamo usare il fluo in piccoli dettagli, senza esagerare, e che può ancora dare un tocco speciale ad un outfit, come è accaduto a me nel dare nuova vita alla maglia Guess di una passata stagione.

La cosa più importante è scegliere cosa comprare in colori neon con un pizzico di saggezza, e io credo di esserci riuscita con questo cardigan di Maison Scotch. Solo facendo così riusciremo ad evitare di entrare nei neonaholic anonymous ! ;-).

Hello everybody ! This weather is truly crazy...during my Easter holidays spent in Sorrento I didn't manage to wear all the Spring clothes I had in my (always too full) luggage...as soon as I arrived there, there was a cold wind and wearing a beanie was truly a life saver !.

Since with this very simple outfit you won't get to see what I was wearing underneath my leather jacket, I thought I'd share with you my top five t-shirts/blouses from Chicnova - since as you know I love to change my style, they are all quite different from one another. What is your fave one ?.

A leather jacket is truly perfect in this period of the year. I confess I had two layers of clothing underneath cause I was freezing ;).

My Givenchy Pandora bag is one of the best bag purchases ever made in my life...it's the best one for travelling, because it's very roomy and the handle plus shoulder strap makes it extra comfortable. I wish you a happy weekend and let's just hope the weather gets a bit warmer !.

La giacca in pelle è quasi un must in questo periodo dell'anno. Confesso che in queste foto avevo due se non tre strati di maglie sotto la giacca, perché sentivo molto freddo ;).

La Pandora di Givenchy si è rivelata forse il miglior acquisto in fatto di borse...sicuramente la migliore per viaggiare perché molto spaziosa e dotata sia di manico che di tracolla, il che la rende ultra comoda.

How to save a day of holiday when most of the clothes you took when you packed were meant for a warmer day, and it still feels like winter ? Try with a statement coat ! This is what I did on Easter day in Sorrento, when I opted for my leopard print coat on a cobalt blue mini dress.

I was freezing anyway and the wind was chilly and you get to see my face only cause I opted for tied up hair - take that, wind !.

Come salvare una giornata di vacanza quando la maggior parte dei vestiti messi in valigia sono adatti ad una giornata più calda e invece sembra di essere ancora in inverno ? Un'idea può essere "buttarsi" su un cappottino particolare !. Questo è ciò che ho fatto nel giorno di Pasqua a Sorrento, quanto ho scelto di indossare il mio cappottino leopardato su un mini abito blu cobalto.

Faceva comunque tanto freddo e il vento soffiava con energia, tanto è che la decisione di legare i capelli si è rivelata vincente, se non altro per non avere troppi fastidi !.

You are warned that part of the responsabilty for this outfit is my husband's. He said I should use the leopard scarf together with the coat. I don't usually go for different leopard prints, but this scarf has almost the same identical shade and kind of leopard print, so I decided to do what he said, for once he felt more "trasgressive". After all, he's the one taking all the pics for my blog, and he is entitled to suggest something, from time to time ! ;). I have to admit I didn't dislike them together...but maybe I am just biased because my love suggested it, ahah :).

Vi avviso che parte della responsabilità per questo outfit è del mio caro maritino. Ha detto lui che avrei dovuto abbinare la sciarpa leopardata al cappottino. Di solito cerco di non mixare diversi tipi di stampa animalier, ma questa sciarpa ha quasi la stessa identica stampa e un colore molto simile al cappotto, così ho pensato di accontentarlo, per una volta che si sentiva particolarment "trasgressivo" !. Dopotutto, è lui che scatta quasi tutte le foto del blog e ha diritto di poter suggerire qualcosa, ogni tanto ;). Devo ammettere che, in fondo, l'abbinamento non mi è dispiaciuto...ma forse sono di parte perché è stato il mio amore a suggerirlo, ahah :).

I think cobalt blue can be a good match with leopard print. Black would be the most obvious one, of course, and I used black most of the times. It's just a shame I didn't get to show you the H&M dress I was wearing underneath, anyway it's the same one you can see in the set above.

Credo che quello che con il blu elettrico sia un ottimo abbinamento con la stampa leopardata. Il nero sarebbe quello più ovvio, ed io stesso ho usato il nero molte volte. E' un peccato non essere riuscita a mostrarvi l'abitino che portavo al di sotto del cappotto, comunque si tratta dello stesso che trovate nel set che ho preparato.

I would also like to introduce my newest pair of mirrored sunglasses from Oakley. I've been wanting a pair of mirrored sunnies for quite a long time, and when I tried some of them my choice went for these ones, with purple-blue color and opaque black frame. I bought them in Sorrento, also as a good wish for sunny days to come !. Of course, I didn't forget to bring my small umbrella inside my Balenciaga bag, and also a basque hat that you can see me wearing in the last pics !. I like to be ready for any kind of weather...sun with sunnies, rain with umbrella, a hat for cold wind...and of course, my leopard printed coat because the world out there is a jungle !.

Ho anche il piacere di presentarvi il mio ultimo paio di occhiali da sole, a specchio, di Oakley. Era un po' che ne desideravo un paio e quando ne ho provati diversi la mia scelta è ricaduta su questi, con lenti color viola-blu elettrico e montatura nera opaca. Li ho comprati a Sorrento, come buon augurio per giornate soleggiate !.
Ovviamente, nella mia Balenciaga avevo pronto un ombrellino da pioggia e anche un cappellino a basco che mi potete vedere indosso nelle ultime foto !.Mi piace essere sempre pronta per ogni tipo di tempo...per il sole con gli occhiali, per la pioggia con un ombrello, il cappellino per il vento freddo...e ovviamente, il mio cappotto leopardato perché il mondo fuori è una giungla !.

Before leaving for my Easter holidays, I gave a look at the weather forecast for those days, and it said cold and rain. Since when life gives us lemons, we're supposed to make a lemonade with them, I thought it would be a good chance to wear my Hunter boots, so I quickly packed them !.

I was all ready for a storm in this casual outfit, on a small stony beach, but even though the sky was cloudy, there was a pleasant light and it didn't rain until late afternoon. The place is very peaceful, only a few people around, not a very touristic hangout, especially in that time of the year and with that weather, and we took these pics right before having one of the tasties lunches of my life at famous Restaurant "Lo Scoglio" in Nerano.

Prima di partire per le vacanze di Pasqua, consultando le previsioni metereologiche, ho letto che oltre a fare freddo, avrebbe anche piovuto. Siccome dovremmo cercare di trovare il lato positivo in tutto, ho pensato fosse una buona occasione per portare con me i miei Hunter boots, e così li ho messi velocemente tra i bagagli !.
Ero preparata ad un temporale, mentre camminavo sulla spiaggia di sassi, ma c'era una piacevole luce e la pioggia ha atteso per cadere fino al tardo pomeriggio. Il luogo era veramente pacifico e incantevole, solo poche persone in giro, non troppo turistico, specialmente in quel periodo dell'anno e con quel tempo, e abbiamo scattato queste foto prima di pranzare al famoso ristorante "Lo Scoglio" a Nerano.

The hills surrounding this lovely beach were covered with a thick fog, and I was happy to have my cotton beanie with me, as fog and my hair don't go very well together !. I decided I'd go for a green sweatshirts from Zara together with a simple pair of skinny jeans. I also added some color with a fantasy printed scarf (from Zara). I keep buying scarves because I think they can really turn a simple outfit into something more special.

Le colline che circondavano questa adorabile spiaggia erano coperte da una fitta nebbia, e sono stata felice di poter indossare il mio cappellino in felpa, dato che nebbia e capelli non vanno molto d'accordo !.

Ho deciso di indossare una semplice felpa verde di Zara insieme a degli skinny. Ho indossato una sciarpa a fantasia, sempre di Zara, per aggiungere un po' di colore. Ho tante sciarpe perché le considero un elemento importante per rendere un po' speciale anche un outfit semplicissimo come questo.

One of the bags I decided to bring with me for my holidays is this Longchamp cuir bag (see pic above), one of my latest purchases as you probably already know from a previous post. I love it, it's from Le Pliage range and it folded so easily in my luggage. I think it look so good with the scarf and also with Hunter boots - it's casual but it has some elegance at the same time.

Una delle borse che ho deciso di portare con me per questa piccola vacanza è la Longchamp in pelle (foto sopra), uno dei miei ultimi acquisti, come probabilmente già saprete in uno dei miei ultimi post. La adoro, è della linea Le Pliage e si ripiega perfettamente, entrando senza problemi in valigia. Credo che stia molto bene con la sciarpa e anche con gli Hunter - è casual ma non troppo.

Surely, this outfit was perfect for a walk on the stony beach, it was indeed very comfortable, Hunters were really a good purchase, they aren't just rain boots, and I am also happy I got them in this classic color. Do you own a pair of Hunter boots or any similar wellington boots ?.

Straight after the walk, we had this amazing lunch with delicious food (their spaghetti with courgettes are a famous dish in this small village, the recipe is kept secret and they are by far one of the best courses I have ever had in my life !), I couldn't help snapping a few pics with my own camera, I didn't post them on Instagram as my iPhone was useless (no signal) in this corner of Paradise, and even though I am addicted to the net, I have to say I enjoyed a much "slower" and relaxing day, for a change !.

Sicuramente, questo outfit si è rivelato perfetto per una passeggiata sulla spiaggia di ciottoli ! Molto comodo, gli Hunter sono stati un ottimo acquisto, non sono semplici stivali da pioggia, e sono anche felice di averli scelti in questo colore classico. E voi, avete un paio di Hunter o di calosce simili ?.
Subito dopo la passeggiata, abbiamo pranzato con cibo delizioso (gli spaghetti alle zucchine sono tipici di queste parti, la ricetta è segreta e sono tra i piatti più buoni mai mangiati in vita mia !), non ho potuto fare a meno di scattare qualche foto con la mia macchinetta, non pubblicate su Instagram perché l'iPhone non funzionava in questo angolo di Paradiso (assenza di segnale), e sebbene io adori essere sempre connessa a internet, ammetto di essermi goduta quelle ore di una giornata più "lenta" e riposante del solito !.

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely Sunday ! It's time for a new outfit post ! Spring is slowly kicking in, it's finally sunny outside and I couldn't be happier about it !. A few days ago, when these pics were taken, there still was a chilly wind blowing on the beach. My personal challenge, this time, was to style this adorably kitsch kettle print blouse with rhinestone decorated collar from Sheinside. Surely, an eye catcher and a must have for all tea/coffee lovers ! ;-P.

Ciao a tutti, spero stiate trascorrendo una piacevole domenica ! E' tempo di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit ! La primavera sta prendendo lentamente piede, finalmente c'è il sole e non potrei esserne più felice ! Pochi giorni addietro, quando sono state scattate queste foto, c'era ancora un venticello molto fresco sulla spiaggia.
La mia sfida personale, questa volta, è stata abbinare questa blusa a stampa teiere con colletto decorato, adorabilmente kitsch, di Sheinside. Sicuramente non passa inosservata ed è un must have per le amanti di tè/caffè ! ;-P.

To style this statement blouse, I decided to go for simple dark wash jeans and a simple black blazer, and focus on stand out accessories. I added some arm candy and it was finally time to go out with my green animal print mini Miss Sicily bag from Dolce & Gabbana !. This bag is so cute, I thought I'd wear it with a casual outfit and of course it would look good with a little black dress, too. You can see it better in the pic above.
Animalier print is such an icon print for Dolce & Gabbana, and I love it so much. I think in this lime green color it's perfect for Spring/Summer.

Per far risaltare la blusa, già stravagante, ho deciso di abbinare semplici jeans scuri e un blazer nero, e di focalizzare l'attenzione su accessori particolari. Ho aggiunto qualche braccialetto e deciso di "portare a fare un giro" la mia piccola Miss Sicily a stampa animalier di Dolce & Gabbana, borsa molto carina che sta bene sia con abbigliamento casual che con un semplice abitino nero. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sopra.
La stampa animalier è una stampa classica di Dolce & Gabbana, a me piace molto. In questo caso, declinata in un verde lime, è perfetta per gli abbinamenti primaverili ed estivi.

Most of the times I take inspiration for my outfits starting from accessories, because accessories are really essential in my world. This time, I got inspired by this Taara Jewelry necklace for this outfit - the shape and green color, with a clear asian vibe, suggested me to go for an asian inspired look, after all a strong asian wind has been blowing stronger than ever on the catwalks (just look at Prada !) and made it as one of the leading trends for Spring/Summer 2013. The long silk blouse was another love at first sight bought on Choies. I stumbled on their website and it was right on the first page as new item. I got hooked by the green print and I placed my order in no time !. The website said it was a dress but it fits so much better as a blouse. I matched a pair of simple ankle lenght black trousers from Zara.

This silk blouse was a good chance to wear a pair of black trousers, I just realized I usually wear more jeans than other kind of pants. What about you ?.

La lunga blusa in seta è stato un altro amore a prima vista, comprata da Choies online. Sono capitata sulla loro home page e ho visto questa blusa tra i nuovi arrivi; ipnotizzata dalla stampa verde, sono corsa ad ordinarla !. Sul sito veniva indicata come abito ma rende decisamente meglio come blusa. Ho abbinato un semplice paio di pantaloni neri, dritti alla caviglia, di Zara.

Questa blusa in seta mi ha dato una buona occasione per indossare un paio di pantaloni neri; ho realizzato che indosso molto più spesso i jeans rispetto ad altri tipi di pantaloni, e voi ?.

The color of the Taara pendant reminded me of my Prada bag, and therefore I decided to go for it with this look. I added a statement bracelet from Asos and a statement ring. This look is featuring some "strong" pieces, yet I don't think it's too heavy, because the bottom part is very simple, with black trousers and black leather shoes (a hybrid between pumps and ankle boots !).
Now that I think about it, if this beautiful necklace won't end up for being a powerful charm against my need for shopping (it keeps growing !), I hope at least that it's gonna protect me from bad taste ! Ahahah :-).

Il colore del pendente di Taara mi ha ricordato il verde della mia borsa di Prada, pertanto ho deciso di sceglierla per questo look. Ho aggiunto un bracciale "importante" di Asos e un anello con pietra verde. In questo outfit ho incorporato diversi elementi "forti" ma non credo di averlo appesantito proprio perché la parte inferiore è piuttosto semplice per via dei pantaloni e delle scarpe in pelle nera (un ibrido tra deco e tronchetti !).
Ora che ci penso, se la collana non si rivelerà un potente talismano contro il mio costante bisogno di shopping (sempre in crescita !), spero almeno riuscirà a proteggermi contro il cattivo gusto ! Ahahah :-).

Here we are with a new outfit post ! Lately I've been really enjoying sporting casual (and even more "daring") looks, this time for an afternoon walk on the beach promenade, I went back to a more "classic" black and white look with a touch of fuchsia.

The strangest detail are the tights - when these pics were taken, it wasn't yet the case to bare my legs (the air was too chilly for me for a cold feeling fashion blogger like me) and I opted for black tights with tiny holes in them, that in the pics look like polka dots but they are meant to make my legs...breathing ! ;-).

Eccoci con un nuovo post outfit ! Dopo una serie di looks più audaci e anche casual, per una passeggiata pomeridiana sul lungomare, stavolta ho optato per una mise più "classica", un look bianco e nero con un tocco di fucsia.

Il dettaglio più particolare sono le calze - quando queste foto sono state scattate, non era ancora tempo di andare in giro a gambe nude (l'arietta era troppo fresca per una fashion blogger freddolosa come me), così ho scelto questi collant neri bucherellati. Quelli che in foto sembrano pois sono, in realtà, piccoli buchi per...l'aerazione ! :-).

The black and white striped miniskirt is from Zara, and the black top with white collar is also from Zara - last season. I decided to give this outfit a pop of color with this small jacket, fuchsia like my lipstick and my Chanel nail polish.

To accentuate the black and white effect, I chose to wear my Baldinini black and white pumps (see pics below for details).

La minigonna a strisce bianche e nere è di Zara e la maglia nera con colletto bianco idem, anche se è della scorsa stagione. Ho deciso di aggiungere un tocco di fucsia all'outfit con questa giacchina, fucsia come il mio rossetto e lo smalto di Chanel.

Per enfatizzare l'effetto bianco e nero, ho scelto pumps bicolore di Baldinini (nelle foto sotto, i dettagli).

The raffia clutch is from Zara, lately I've been more and more intrigued by their bags, especially when it comes to clutches !. I thought this outfit would be a good one to wear my Daniel Wellington watch (see the pic below featuring details of the clutch and my watch together with Tiffany Infinity bracelet).

La clutch bianca e nera in rafia è di Zara, ultimamente sono stata sempre più attratta dal loro reparto borse, specialmente se si tratta di clutch !. Maybe some of you will remember that I also have the same skirt in burgundy and black color. I liked both the versions, so after a while, I bought this one too ;).

The stripes trend took over part of my wardrobe, I still have a few striped clothes to show you, indeed. I know, I know...we are surrounded by stripes this Spring, even too much, and there are days when I regret allowing myself to indulge in this trend, ah !. I promised myself not a single striped item will enter in my closet, anymore, cause I have plenty already !.

Forse alcuni di voi ricorderanno che ho la stessa minigonna anche in bordeaux e nero. Mi piaceva in entrambe le versioni, così, dopo un bel po' di tempo, ho preso anche questa ;).

Il trend delle righe la fa da padrone in parte del mio guardaroba. Ho ancora alcuni capi a righe da mostrarvi, infatti. Lo so, lo so...siamo circondati da righe questa Primavera, probabilmente anche troppo, e ci sono giorni in cui mi pento di essermi lasciata prendere la mano ! Infatti, ho promesso a me stessa che non un singolo capo rigato entrerà più nel mio armadio, ne ho già abbastanza !.

I love to accessorize my looks with a special necklace, and I thought this long one (no brand) would add a "bon ton" touch to the outfit, that, since I hate taking myself too seriously, I could personally classify like "Chanel meets a bumble bee, black and white version", ahahah :-).

I had these pics in my pink hard disk still from my Easter vacation spent in Sorrento, the place where we took them is very dear to me because it's the same place hubby and I got married in July 2011, the Cloister of San Francesco, a very well preserved medieval cloister in town centre. Everytime I go back there, sweet memories of that day strike me !.
This outfit is featuring one of the most versatile and useful pieces in a wardrobe, to my opinion: a denim shirt. The denim shirt trend is pretty hot right now, but I have always had a few in my closet, I love such shirts and this is the perfect time of the year to wear them !.

Queste foto, ancora nel mio hard disk rigorosamente rosa, attendevano di essere postate dalle mie vacanze pasquali a Sorrento; sono state scattate in un luogo a me particolarmente caro, perché è dove mi sono sposata, a luglio 2011, il Chiostro di San Francesco, un Chiostro di origine medioevale molto ben conservato, nel centro della cittadina. Ogni volta che ritorno in quel luogo, dolci ricordi invadono la mia mente ed il mio cuore !.
Questo look si basa su uno dei capi più versatili e utili, secondo me: la camicia di jeans. Il trend della camicia in denim è molto attuale, ma io ne ho sempre avute diverse nel mio armadio, mi piacciono molto e questo, dopotutto, è il periodo migliore dell'anno per indossarne una !.

I paired the denim shirt with a miniskirt with ethnic print I had bought at local Zara. Since the air was too fresh to bare my legs and I didn't want to wear nude tights, I opted for lace ones, in a neutral color so that they would look good with my taupe boots you had already seen.

I love lace tights, the only thing that annoys me is that after a while I am wearing them, they tend to become larger and larger cause they are less elastic...does it happen to you, as well ?!.

Ho abbinato la camicia in jeans con una minigonna a stampa etnica presa da Zara. Siccome l'aria era ancora troppo fresca per i miei gusti e non volevo andare in giro a gambe nude né indossare calze color carne, ho optato per calze in pizzo di una tonalità neutra, che non stonasse con gli stivali color talpa che avevate già visto in un precedente post.

Amo le calze in pizzo, hanno il solo difetto di allargarsi velocemente dopo un po' che le si indossa, essendo meno elasticizzate...capita anche a voi ?!.

I was wearing Oakley mirror sunglasses and my cobalt blue Balenciaga city. Sure, it was a fun day...just like it happens when you are on a vacation !.

Today is national holiday here in Italy (Liberation Day) and I was at least supposed to have a good and long sleep...but my annoying neighbours decided to wake me up really early with their noises, like my followers on Twitter know already !. Not a good way to start the Day, but I am confident that it's gonna get better !...My hubby heard me complaining about my early wake up and bought me a yummy croissant for breakfast, he sure is smart ! ;-).

Indossavo occhiali a specchio di Oakley e la mia fedele Balenciaga City blu cobalto. Sicuramente è stata una giornata piacevole...come spesso accade quando si è in vacanza !.

Oggi è Festa Nazionale quì in Italia (Festa della Liberazione) e, seppur restando in città, mi aspettavo di recuperare un po' di sonno perduto e di dormire fino a tardi, ma i miei cari vicini hanno deciso di far rumore e svegliarmi presto, come sanno già i miei amici di Twitter !. Non un perfetto inizio di giornata, ma spero migliori !...Intanto, per addolcirmi, mio marito è corso a comprarmi un cornetto buonissimo per colazione, è furbo lui... ;-)

I liked this Pull & Bear sweatshirt as soon as I saw it...yes, sometimes I really think it's hard to be me, and I bet most of us thought this at least once in life ;-).

The ethnic print boyfriend jeans are an online purchase from Asos. They are a bit distressed and the denim is very soft. Love them !. In the pic below you can see a little set I made for this outfit.

Questa felpa di Pull & Bear mi è piaciuta appena l'ho vista...sì, a volte credo sia veramente difficile essere me, e scommetto che ognuno di noi l'ha pensato di se stesso almeno una volta nella vita ;-).

Vans shoes were so trendy when I was just a little girl, I am so glad they are back ! Of course I was attracted by a very plain print, right ? Ahah. I have plenty of "one color" sneakers, I liked these ones to be eye catchy !.

Le Vans erano molto in voga quando ero solo una ragazzina, sono contenta che siano tornate alla grande ! Ovviamente, sono stata attirata da una stampa molto sobria, giusto ? Ahah...a dire il vero, ho già tante sneakers "monocolore", mi piace il fatto che queste siano "attira sguardi" !.

I just love wearing a statement necklace on a casual sweatshirt ! Who said statement necklaces are only meant for smart dresses ? They can be worn always and all the time !. This one's apricot color is almost the same as my nail polish (Dior "Delice").

My large and comfy Balenciaga work bag completed the outfit. I spent the whole afternoon out for shopping and at the end of the evening I thought my hubby wanted to steal my sweatshirt, cause he said it was hard to be...him ! :-). Shame they didn't have one like that in the males' corner !.

Adoro indossare una collana importante su una felpa casual ! Chi ha detto che collane vistose possono essere indossate solo su abiti eleganti ? Invece possono essere indossate sempre, anzi !. Questa che porto ha un color albicocca che riprende il mio smalto (Dior "Delice").

La mia comoda e super spaziosa Balenciaga Work ha completeto l'outfit. Ho trascorso l'intero pomeriggio in giro per shopping e alla fine della serata ho capito che mio marito avrebbe voluto una felpa come la mia, perché mi ha confessato che è difficile essere...se stesso ! :-). Peccato non ne avessero una simile nel reparto maschile !.

This is one of the ways I have experienced so far: I have always had the wish to mix stripes and flowers, and I finally did it with this striped shirt from Romwe and those jeans with flower print on the side, from Insight Denim Collection.

Come sappiamo, le righe sono uno dei trend per questa stagione e, come vi avevo già preannunciato, io ne ho abbondantemente già fatto il pieno !.

Ora sono alla ricerca di alternative divertenti per indossare le righe, cercando di non farle diventare "noiose". Questo è uno degli abbinamenti che ho provato fino ad ora: ho sempre avuto il desiderio di mescolare righe e fiori, e finalmente ne ho avuto l'occasione con questa camicia di Romwe e i jeans con fiori laterali di Insight Denim Collection.

This outfit was pretty good for a walk near the seaside, in spite of a humid weather that was threatening my hair (thanks God for hair straighteners !). In these pics you can see me wearing earrings, something that happens like two times a year.

I do not have pierced lobes, so when I wear earrings, they have the "clips" and they end up hurting my lobes after a while !. These chain of hearts ones, from Moschino, are pretty old, or shall I say vintage !...I think I bought them many years ago and I think they are always very up-to-date.

Ho indossato questo outfit per una passeggiata sul lungomare, sfidando il tempo umido che stava minacciando i miei capelli (ringraziamo sempre il Signore per l'esistenza delle piastre liscianti !). Nelle foto potete vedermi mentre indosso gli orecchini, un evento che non capita più di due volte all'anno.

Non ho i lobi forati, così, nelle poche volte in cui porto gli orecchini, utilizzo quelli con le clips, che finiscono per farmi un male terribile dopo qualche ora ! Questi, di Moschino, formati da tre cuori, sono piuttosto vecchi, o direi "vintage"...sono stati comprati parecchi anni fa e li trovo sempre molto attuali.

In the image above you can see a little set I prepared for this "stripes and flowers" outfit. I went for neutral colored ankle boots because the outfit was already pretty bold.

As you can see, I went for a simple studded clutch as bag, and opted for a statement bracelet, as well as for my Moschino belt.

This time I left my watch at home...after all, we could do it from time to time...I often feel like if I am fighting against time, in my daily activities...I am always in a hurry, trying to do all the things at work, plus keeping up with the blog, doing houseworks, seeing friends...and I really feel the need to stop from time to time.

Nell'immagine sopra potete vedere un piccolo set ispirato da questo outfit a fiori e righe. Ho scelto di utilizzare ankle boots di tonalità neutra perché l'outfit era già abbastanza "forte" così.

Ho scelto una piccola clutch borchiata come borsa e optato per un bracciale importante e per la cintura di Moschino. Questa volta ho lasciato l'orologio a casa...dopotutto, potremmo farlo tutti ogni tanto...spesso mi sento in lotta contro il tempo, nelle mie attività quotidiane...sono sempre di fretta, cercando di fare tutto al lavoro, stare dietro al blog, fare le "faccende" in casa, vedere gli amici...e a volte sento veramente il bisogno di staccare.

Today I am off from work, and I am gonna spend the day with hubby for a little trip. I am gonna check on your comments from my iPhone and iPad, and will be more present on your blogs asap !. Unfortunately the weather forecast for this weekend is pretty bad, it says rain :-(...but I am gonna do my best to have fun anyway, and if it's gonna rain cats and dogs I am gonna find shelter in a nice shop, I am sure my hubby will agree with me...don't you think so ?! ;-)

Oggi ho un giorno di ferie e lo trascorrerò con mio marito per una piccola gita. Living by the sea, I tend to eat a lot of sea food and I have to confess lobster is one of my fave foods ever, so when I spotted this cotton lobster printed sweater on Asos I thought it was so cute and therefore... "why not ?". After all, I have a raccoon sweater from the past winter, and a lobster one could be very appropriate for Springtime !.

My hubby was so amused when he saw me in this casual & "crustacean" outfit. I told him that instead of smiling he should have better taken me out for dinner ;-).

Vivendo sul mare, mi capita spesso di mangiare pesce e frutti di mare, e confesso che l'aragosta è uno dei miei cibi preferiti in assoluto. Non avevo pensato che un'aragosta potesse anche essere...carina da portare stampata su una maglia in cotone, ma con la maglia di Asos che vedete mi sono ricreduta !. Dopotutto, ho una maglia con procione che risale all'inverno e, pertanto, una con l'aragosta è appropriata per la Primavera !.

Mio marito si è divertito a passeggiare con me in questa tenuta casual e "crostacea", e io gli ho detto di ridere poco e, piuttosto, di portarmi a cena fuori ;-).

Longchamp customized Le Pliage , Firmoo sunglasses, Fashion and Cookies

The Longchamp bag you see in this post is a customized version I ordered online from their official website. A couple of good friends and I decided to go for a "multiple" order, each one of us got to choose the main and the stripe color and even the hardware. They even do embossed initials for a small fee, it's super cool !. In less than three weeks, we had our bags at home.

I went for red and royal blue cause I wanted a comfy bag to be carried out with my Converse shoes. I went for bronze hardware because I wanted it to be as "neutral" as possible. I liked the result and this became one of my most used bags when I am out for a walk in a casual outfit.

La borsa Longchamp che vedete in questo post è una versione personalizzata che ho ordinato direttamente dal sito ufficiale. Una coppia di buone amiche ha deciso, insieme a me, di scegliere una borsa per ciascuna e abbiamo fatto un ordine cumulativo "a tre". Abbiamo potuto scegliere sia il colore principale che quello della banda centrale, e persino il tono della cerniera e del bottone. La personalizzano anche con le iniziali con una piccola cifra aggiuntiva !. In meno di tre settimane, le nostre borse sono arrivate a domicilio.

Io ho scelto il rosso e il blu cobalto, puntando su un accessorio che andasse bene con look sportivi e con le mie Converse. Ho optato per hardware bronzo scuro affinché spiccasse il meno possibile.
