I have a true passion for statement necklaces, and readers of this blog know that. I wear a statement piece of jewelry in almost each on my outfits...Colorful, eye catching, bulky, I love necklaces and I consider them as a key accessory that can give a special touch to any look, both elegant or casual.
I like them and I keep buying them. Where ? A bit everywhere, from online webshops to Zara or Stradivarius, or simply in local shops. Expensive or cheap, they all have a thing in common: they have to be beautiful and outrageously extreme !.
I have so many boxes and even drawers filled with chains, rhinestones, my statement necklace obsession makes it very hard to find the one I want when I need it. The art of organizing our jewelry should be classified as olympic sport, don't you agree with me ?.
Ho una vera passione per le cosiddette "statement necklaces", ed i lettori di questo blog lo sanno bene. Porto una collana vistosa in quasi ognuno dei miei outfit...colorate, vistose, eccessive, amo le collane e le considero un accessorio chiave per dare un tocco speciale ad ogni tipo di look, sia elegante che casual. Mi piacciono, e continuo a comprarne. Dove ? Un po' ovunque, sia online che da Zara o Stradivarius, o semplicemente in negozietti della zona. Che siano costose o economiche, hanno tutte una cosa in comune: devono essere belle e sfacciatamente eccessive !.
Ho tante scatole e anche cassetti traboccanti di catene, pietre luccicanti, e la mia ossessione per le collane vistose rende sempre più difficile per me ritrovare la collana che mi serve al momento giusto. L'arte di organizzare i nostri bijoux dovrebbe essere classificata come sport olimpico, non credete ?.

My new #inmycloset column will be featuring my own clothes and accessories: in this post you can see a small part of my collection of necklaces. I have also bought a few holders, I plan to buy more, because I love to keep my favorite pieces on display.
Storing your statement necklaces the right way is important to keep them good looking and "new". Also, since they are often covered in rhinestones, it's important they ara safely stored because they could miss a few stones, I hate when I find out some rhinestone fell off !.
I love to wear my necklaces especially with t-shirts, monochrome dresses or even colorfully printed dresses, both with a matching color or with a totally different touch for a color block effect.
My only rule is not to wear statement necklaces with big earrings because it would be too much, it's a rule that is very easy for me not to break because I rarely wear earrings. What about you, do you also like to wear statement necklaces ? How do you store them ?.
Nella mia nuova rubrica #inmycloset vi mostrerò i miei abiti ed accessori: in questa prima puntata ho pensato di mostrarvi una piccola parte della mia collezione di collane. Ho anche qualche espositore, vorrei prenderne altri perché mi piace poter lasciare le mie collane preferite così "in mostra".
Conservare le vostre statement necklace nel modo giusto è importante per mantenerle il più possibile come nuove. Inoltre, dato che sono spesso coperte di pietre, è importante metterle al sicuro per evitare di perderne qualcuna. Odio quando mi accorgo di aver perso delle pietre !.
Mi piace indossare le mie collane specialmente con t-shirt o abiti monocolore o fantasia,sia riprendendone qualche colore o accentuandone i contrasti per un effetto color block.
La mia sola regola è non indossare collane così vistose unitamente ad orecchini importanti, per evitare che l'insieme risulti troppo carico, una regola facile da rispettare per me che non porto quasi mai orecchini. Che mi dite di voi, vi piace portare statement necklace ? Come le conservate ?.
