Yesterday was the real true day of Fall weather...a very fresh wind, a lot of rain and the real need of a coat. I personally would have stayed in bed all the time !. To fight the negative feelings caused by this bad weather, here we are with a vitaminic outfit, a mixture of patterns and prints, precisely of the houndstooth print of my Chicwish coat and a quilted floral sweater. Who said cold days are meant for dark clothes only ?.
Ieri è stata la prima vera giornata di tempo autunnale...vento molto fresco, un sacco di pioggia e il vero bisogno di un cappotto. Personalmente, se avessi potuto sarei stata sotto le coperte per tutto il tempo !. Per combattere i sentimenti negtivi causati dal meteo sfavorevole, eccoci con un outfit vitaminico, con un misto di trame e di stampe, precisamente di pied de poule sul mio nuovo cappotto Chicwish e del motivo floreale di una felpa trapuntata. Chi ha detto che le giornate fredde comportino solo abiti scuri ?.

I personally love mixing different prints. It's a risky business, but I do not like to win easily ;). I think this pretty coat, that really is extremely comfortable, goes well with the floral sweater, the contrast is nice. I also like the big houndstooth print, it makes this pea shaped coat really modern and stylish. I was really positively impressed by Chicwish and I keep it among the online shopping stores I need to shop from periodically !.
I am also mixing fabrics here, because the coat is woolen and the sweatshirt is quilted. This quilted fabric is getting more and more popular. I love it, you just gotta consider it's bulkier than a normal sweatshirt fabric, so you can't put too many layers on it.
Personalmente, adoro mischiare stampe diverse. E' un lavoro rischioso, ma non mi è mai piaciuto vincere facile ;). Credo che questo bel cappottino, che è anche estremamente comodo, si abbini bene alla felpa a fiori, il contrasto che ne esce mi piace. Mi piace anche che il fatto che il pied de poule sul cappotto a uovo sia extralarge, rende il cappotto stesso più moderno e aggiunge stile. Sono stata positivamente impressionata da Chicwish e l'ho inserito tra i miei shop online da razziare con regolarità !.
Sto mischiando anche tipi di stoffe in questo outfit, perché il cappotto è in lana ma la felpa è trapuntata. Queste felpe trapuntate stanno diventando sempre più popolari, a me piacciono, dovete solo considerare che sono più ingrombranti di quelle normali e che, pertanto, non sono adatte a stratificare troppo l'abbigliamento.
What was I looking at ?
Masculine shoes are a big trend right now and I am getting more and more into it. After the revelation that, in spite of heels being the best to make us feel good, we can look as real women even with flat shoes, a new Universe opened up for me !. These fringed loafers are my current obsession. I found them at Sergio Amaranti shop and I got impressed by their made in Italy quality. I am going to wear them also with miniskirts, and I am really happy about this purchase.
The bag of choice in this case was Marc by Marc Jacobs' Memphis two tone bag. I love the color block effect and the bold colors, as well as the very soft leather.
Il trend del momento è portare scarpe maschili e mi ci sto appassionando sempre di più. Dopo aver capito che, sebbene i tacchi siano sempre belli e valorizzino la figura, si può sembrare donne anche con le scarpe basse, mi si è aperto un mondo ;). Queste scarpe con frangia sono la mia ossessione del momento. Le ho trovate nello shop Sergio Amaranti e sono stata subito attratta dalla loro evidente qualità Made in Italy. Le abbinerò facilmente anche a delle minigonne e sono molto felice di questo acquisto.
La borsa prescelta in questo caso è stata la Memphis Marc by Marc Jacobs in due tonalità. Mi piace l'effetto color block e il fatto che i colori siano molto strong, oltre al fatto che è di un pellame morbidissimo.
In the pic below you can see the quilted sweatshirt, that is also pretty oversize. It kept me warm and cozy and I just love its colors !. I added a statement necklace with similar colors for extra fun. Soon I want to show you my collection of necklaces...I keep them all together into boxes, and it's a miracle I still know where to find something I need, there's so many things in those jewelry storage cases !.
Nella foto sotto potete vedere la mia felpona trapuntata, con vestibilità oversize. Mi ha tenuta al calduccio e amo i suoi colori !. Ho aggiunto una collana importante dai colori simili per aumentare il contrasto con il cappotto. Presto vorrei mostrarvi la mia collezione di collane...le tengo tutte insieme dentro a scatole, ed è un vero miracolo che riesca ancora a trovare ciò che voglio, dato che in questi porta gioielli c'è un certo affollamento !.
My jeans had a pretty simple skinny cut. I didn't need anything more, really, I was eye catching enough !. I am really happy I dared mixing these prints because I like the result. Just like the other outfits in my blog, this look was sported by me when I went out, this means I didn't dress up for the post, I was just photographed by a very patient guy ;).

I miei jeans avevano un semplice taglio skinny dritto. Non avevo bisogno di ulteriori elementi, ero già abbastanza accessoriata !. Sono felice di aver osato mixando stampe diverse perché mi piace il risultato. Proprio come per gli altri outfit che trovate su questo blog, questo look è stato indossato da me quando sono uscita, ovvero non mi sono vestita appositamente per il post, sono solo stata fotografata da un tipo molto paziente ! ;).
Che mi dite di voi, mischiereste il pied de poule con un'altra fantasia ? Lo avete già fatto e, se sì, come ?.
