It's time for a new outfit post, this is the look I chose for a dinner with my co-workers, I went bon ton with this Donna Karan NY modern stripe asymmetrical dress and my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag. Stripes have been a super hot trend this year, and this cotton dress is both trendy and, at the same time, a classic I can see myself wearing in the future.

E' giunto il momento di un nuovo post outfit, con il look che ho scelto per una cena con i miei colleghi di lavoro; ho optato per uno stile bon ton con questo abito asimmetrico nero e a righe Donna Karan NY e il bauletto Louis Vuitton Speedy 30. 

La moda delle righe è andata alla grande per questa stagione, e questo abito in cotone rientra perfettamente nel trend, pur conservando uno stile classico che lo rende portabile anche in futuro.

The dress has a black belt and half sleeves and the bottom part is asymmetrical, featuring oblique black and creamy white stripes. As soon as I had this dress on, I thought I'd add colorful shoes to the outfit...black shoes would have been too obvious, and I went for these open toes coral pumps.

I told you about my neglected Louis Vuitton bags a while ago, in a post where I was wearing my Speedy 25...well, it was time to let her bigger sister go out, this is a Speedy 30 monogram, and it's hiding a little...secret I am going to tell you !.

L'abito ha una cintura nera e mezze maniche e la parte finale è asimmetrica, con righe oblique in nero e bianco crema. Non appena l'ho avuto indosso, ho pensato di abbinarlo a scarpe colorate, in quanto scarpe nere sarebbero state troppo ovvie. La mia scelta è ricaduta su queste pumps Castaner, open toe color corallo.

Vi avevo già parlato delle mie trascurate borse Louis Vuitton, in un post in cui portavo la Speedy 25...beh, stavolta ho deciso di far uscire la sorella maggiore, questa è una Speedy 30 monogram, e nasconde un piccolo...segreto di cui vi sto per parlare !.

 

My bag is hiding a base shaper inside...when I got contacted from lovely Guro Stuan, the founder of Designer Base Shapers, I thought she had such a cool idea and wanted to try it myself, also to share it to my readers ! How many times have you complained about your bag going too saggy and overused ? Especially the bigger bags, can go really lousy on the bottom...well, with a lightweight acrylic base shaper the problem is solved !. This website has base shapers for most of IT designer bags, I got one for my LV Speedy 30 and one for my Balenciaga City, tried them out and...they do work !. I recommend them if you tend to put so many things in your bag, just like I usually do. If your bag is not in the available bags list, they can even make you a custom base shaper very quickly !. See a pic of "before" and "after" below and mind that in all the pics of this post my bag had its solid base shaper inside (as well as so many things, LOL).

La mia borsa nasconde un base shaper al suo interno...quando sono stata contattata dall'adorabile Guro Stuan, fondatrice di Designer Base Shapers, ho pensato che la sua fosse una grande idea e ho voluto sperimentarla, anche per riferirla ai miei lettori !. Quante volte vi siete lamentate della borsa che tende ad appendersi troppo sul fondo, assumendo un aspetto trasandato ? Specialmente le borse grandi, possono allentarsi molto sul fondo...beh, con una leggera base in acrilico su misura il problema è risolto !. Questo sito ha basi pronte per la maggior parte delle borse "famose", io ne ho ordinata una per la mia Speedy 30 LV e una per la Balenciaga City, le ho provate e....funzionano !. Le raccomando se tendete a sovraccaricare le vostre borse, come faccio io. Se la vostra borsa non fa parte della lista per le basi già pronte, possono farvene una su misura molto velocemente !. Potete vedere una foto del "prima" e del "dopo" sotto e considerate che in tutte le foto di questo post la mia borsa nasconde una base rigida all'interno (oltre a una marea di cose, LOL).

  

This time I went really simple with my jewelry. I wanted to add some "light" to the outfit, and I went for my pearls necklace, a present from hubby on a Christmas a few years ago. I think a pearl necklace is a symbol of elegance and one of the must haves for a woman. I love wearing my pearls both in winter, with a shirt or a light sweater, and in summer, on my tanned skin. I just have to be careful with perfumes and lotions, since pearls are very delicate and can easily get damaged !.

The bracelet I was wearing, with coral roses, is no brand and I got it for a cheap price, but it does add a nice touch of color, doesn't it ?.

Questa volta mi sono mantenuta sul semplice con i gioielli. Volevo solo un po' di luce per questo outfit e ho pensato di indossare il mio collier di perle, regalo di mio marito di qualche Natale addietro. Credo che un filo di perle sia un simbolo di eleganza e uno dei must have tra i gioielli di una donna. Amo portare le perle sia in inverno, con una camicia o un golfino, e in estate, sulla pelle abbronzata. Devo solo fare attenzione ai profumi ed alle creme corpo, in quanto le perle sono molto delicate e non è difficile danneggiarle !.

Il braccialetto con le rose color corallo è no brand e l'ho comprato per davvero poco, ma aggiunge un bel tocco di colore, non credete ?.

 

My Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses have that cream color part that reminded me too much of the stripes of the dress not to wear them ! I tied up my hair cause the heat and the beach made it very hard to tame...but, officially, let's say I just wanted a cleaner and chic look ;-).

I miei occhiali da sole Marc by Marc Jacobs hanno quella parte in color crema che mi ricordava troppo le righe di questo abito per non indossarli ! Ho legato i capelli perché il calore e la spiaggia li hanno resi indomabili...ma, ufficialmente, il motivo è che volevo un look più chic e sofisticato ;-).

   

I am glad I managed to wear my Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, it's not the favorite piece I own, but it's a piece of fashion history, and a great classic. As for the dress, I would also like to wear it with white Converse sneakers and a studded clutch next time, when I go out with friends and I can be a bit less formal. What do you think ?. After all, as you know, I would be bored to death without changing my style all the time !.

Mi fa piacere aver incluso la Speedy Louis Vuitton in questo outfit, non è la borsa che preferisco tra quelle che possiedo, ma è un pezzo di storia della moda, un grande classico. Per quanto riguarda il vestito, vorrei indossarlo con Converse bianche e una clutch borchiata la prossima volta, per un'uscita con le amiche molto meno formale, che ne pensate di questa idea ?. Dopotutto, come saprete, mi annoierei a morte senza cambiare il mio stile con una certa frequenza !.

White is one of the hottest trends for this summer, and a white dress is a must have wardrobe staple, as well as a making us look more tanned, and keeping us fresh. This is what I thought when I saw this lovely Sangallo dress at Mango store, and it had to be mine straight away !. Wearing white from head to toe is also very trendy for this season, and I wanted to try it myself with this total white look, leaving out the only detail of the Moschino bag.

Il bianco è uno dei trend più in voga dell'estate, ed un abito bianco è un must have in ogni guardaroba, un pezzo forte che oltre ad essere di moda ci fa sembrare più abbronzate e sentire più fresche. E' per questo che non appena visto questo adorabile abitino in Sangallo da Mango, ho dovuto comprarlo !. Inoltre, indossare look total white è molto di moda, e ho voluto provare anche io con questo outfit, lasciando solo il tocco di altro colore con la borsa Moschino.

I also have a blazer from the same Mango collection, I showed you in a previous post, of course I wouldn't wear them together cause it would have been too much. This short dress caught my attention because of its clean cut and the broderie anglaise fabric.

I decided to wear it with my Fabi white pumps with perspex heels and having white nail polish on my nails to make the look as snow white as I could !.

Ho anche il blazer della stessa collezione Mango, ve l'avevo mostrato in un post precedente, non l'ho comprato per indossarlo con il vestito, sarebbe eccessivo. Questo mini abito ha attirato da subito la mia attenzione sia per il taglio pulito che per la stoffa in pizzo.

Ho deciso di abbinarvi le mie pumps bianche Fabi con tacco in plexiglass e di portare smalto bianco sulle unghie per rendere il look più candido possibile !.

I went for a touch of a different color with this the bag. I am very proud to introduce my Moschino Cheap & Chic leather Notes bag !. This cute bag has a notebook design with a gold-tone embossed detail to the front, zip through fastening and a detachable shoulder strap with chain link insert. You can see it better in the pic above. 

I am sure I will be wearing this bag a lot, also in next season, because of its colors, shape (take the shoulder strap and you have an elegant clutch !) and the original touch. This is a bit like a Moschino version of famous Olympia Le Tan book clutches !. Add also that it is roomy enough to fit my mini iPad fits into it together with my other essentials.

Ho optato per un tocco di diverso colore con la borsa. Sono orgogliosa di presentarvi la mia borsa  "Notes" in pelle Moschino Cheap & Chic  ! Questa adorabile borsa sembra un libro o, meglio, un blocco note, ha la scritta "Notes" in dorato sulla copertina, la chiusura a zip e una tracolla staccabile in pelle color crema e parte fatta di catena. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sopra.

Sono certa che la porterò con me molto spesso, anche nelle prossime stagioni, per via dei colori, della forma (senza catena diventa subito una elegante clutch) e del tocco di originalità. E' un po' la risposta di Moschino alle famose clutch a libro di Olympia Le Tan !. Aggiungeteci anche che la borsa è abbastanza spaziosa da contenere il mio inseparabile mini iPad e gli altri oggetti per me essenziali.

 

These dark cat eye sunglasses are a recent purchase from Asos. I own so many cat eye sunnies and I never get tired of them, this is my favorite shape ever, and these ones are very lightweight !. I am starting to run out of space for all my sunnies, I keep them into two big boxes and everytime finding the ones I want is a hard task, I have to find a better arrangement soon !. Do you also buy too many specs ?.

Questi occhiali da sole scuri "cat eye" sono un acquisto recente fatto da Asos. Ne possiedo così tante paia, non mi stancano mai, la forma "da gatta" è la mia preferita, e questi sono davvero leggerissimi !. Sto iniziando a non avere più spazio per tutti i miei occhiali, li tengo in due grandi scatole e presto dovrò trovare un altro sistema per conservarli, perché ogni volta ci vuole troppo tempo per trovare quelli che voglio !. Anche voi comprate troppi occhiali ?.

 

I was wearing a gold necklace, my arm candy and the rings I usually wear...and there is also an unwanted item in these pics, a mosquito bite that got red and itchy near my ankle...you can easily spot it, because as I often said, I don't use Photoshop in my blog. I think if we need to see perfect models, we can turn to fashion magazines, but fashion bloggers should be portraying the truth and the fact that we can look good even with a few imperfections. We are just normal women, we are not professional models, but we can look glamorous in everyday life anyway, at least this is what I think. Looking wonderful with tons of Photoshop work is easy, but it's fake...I always prefer to show the better version of myself to the world, and I use my clothes and make up to look better, but it's an existing version, not something you only see in pics. Don't you agree with me ?.

Indossavo una collana in oro, un insieme di bracciali e gli anelli che porto di solito...e c'è anche un accessorio indesiderato in queste foto, una puntura di zanzara rossa e fastidiosa accanto alla mia caviglia...potete facilmente notarla, perché, come ho già detto più volte, non uso Photoshop per modificare le mie foto. Credo che se volessimo vedere delle modelle perfette, potremmo facilmente sfogliare una rivista di moda, ma le fashion blogger dovrebbero rappresentare la realtà ed il fatto che si possa avere un aspetto gradevole anche con qualche imperfezione. Siamo donne normali, non siamo modelle, ma possiamo sembrare glam anche nella vita di tutti i giorni, almeno è ciò che penso. Sembrare meravigliose con un sacco di lavoro di Photoshop è sicuramente più facile, ma è falso...preferisco sempre presentare la versione migliore di me stessa, ma uso gli abiti e il make up per migliorarmi, almeno è una versione reale, non qualcosa che esiste solo in fotografia. Non siete d'accordo con me ?.

How are you all ?  I really can't wait to be on holidays, it seems all the people I know are on vacation, instead I am still stuck up at work...I keep getting invited to parties and cocktails and I am happy to go, but I feel terribly tired the day after !. Anyway, I am really happy to go to a party, especially when I have a new dress to sport, like this lovely black floral beaded Regina from Chi Chi London ! Isn't it super cute ?.

Come state ? Io sono davvero impaziente di andarmene in ferie, sembra che ci siano già andati tutti tranne me...continuo a ricevere inviti a feste e a cocktails e sono ben felice di andarci, ma mi sento terribilmente stanca il giorno dopo, dovendo andare a lavorare !. Io comunque sono sempre felice di festeggiare, specialmente quando ho un nuovo abito da indossare, come questo abitino nero con ricami floreali "Regina", di Chi Chi London ! Non è carinissimo ?.

My first experience with Chi Chi clothing was really good, shipment was pretty fast and the quality of the dress is really great, it fits like a glove and it looks wonderful, even better than on the website !. This London based brand, created over 25 years ago, sells many elegant and cocktail dresses I'd love to have in my closet and I know soon or later more dresses will be mine ;).

This short dress has a beading along the neckline and on sleeves, in pastel colors. You can see it better in the pic below. It is so rich and eye catching that I decided to wear no necklace, I thought the decoration on the dress was enough. I opted for a statement bracelet, instead. 

La mia prima esperienza con Chi Chi clothing è stata veramente ottima, la spedizione è stata veloce e la qualità dell'abito è molto alta, veste benissimo e ha un aspetto persino migliore di quanto appaia sul sito !. Questo brand nato a Londra 25 anni fa ha una serie variegata di abiti eleganti e da cocktail che mi piacerebbe avere nel mio armadio e so già che ne farò incetta ;).

Questo abitino ha un decoro di perline lungo la scollatura e sulle maniche, in colori pastello. Potete vedere meglio il ricamo nella foto sotto, è così ricco e di impatto che ho deciso di non indossare alcuna collana, in quanto la decorazione sull'abito era più che sufficiente. Ho optato, invece, per un bracciale vistoso.

I could have worn this dress with elegant black heels and a black bag, but I wanted to spice this look up with colorful shoes and a fun clutch. So, I went for my Icone sandals in metallic leather, I think they turn this outfit from simply elegant to edgy. Same applies to the bag, this bright yellow color adds a colorful twist to the whole look and stands out nicely on the black of this bodycon dress.

Avrei potuto indossare questo abito con scarpe nere dal tacco alto ed una borsa nera, ma ho scelto di rendere il look più particolare con scarpe colorate ed una clutch poco seriosa. Così, ho scelto i miei sandali Icone in pelle metallizzata, credo che riescano a rendere l'outfit da semplicemente elegante ad originale. Lo stesso vale per la borsa, questo giallo brillante aggiunge un tocco di colore all'intero look e spicca piacevolmente sul nero dell'abito aderente.

This dress also has a scoop back, I love it cause it's not too evident and it means you can wear your bra without having to worry that it will pop out from your dress ! A woman has to worry about too many things already, right ?.

On my nails I am wearing Chanel "Coco Blue" nail polish, the shade of some beaded flowers reminded me of it way too much !.

Questo abito ha la schiena scoperta, mi piace molto perché, allo stesso tempo, non è esageratamente scollato sul retro, il che significa non doversi preoccupare che il reggiseno faccia capolino dall'abito ! Una donna deve preoccuparsi già di troppe cose, giusto ?.

Sulle unghie porto lo smalto Chanel "Coco Blue", la tonalità di alcuni fiori di perline sull'abito me lo ha ricordato subito per non sceglierlo !.

I feel ready to party on, trying to forget that the alarm clock is waiting for me the day after...the alarm clock is one of my worst enemies, that sound is so annoying and one of the best things when I am on holidays is that I do not have to hear it ! Do you also use an alarm clock to wake up in the morning ? Do you hate it as much as I do ?. 

Mi sento pronta a festeggiare, cercando di non pensare che il giorno dopo ci sarà la sveglia a riportarmi alla realtà...la sveglia è uno dei miei nemici peggiori, quel suono è odioso e una delle cose migliori dell'essere in ferie è non doverla sentire ! Usate anche voi una sveglia al mattino ? La odiate così tanto quanto la odio io ?.

Hello guys ! I am really pleased to let you know that beginning today, I'll be on vacation all next week ! Not much, but it's enough to try and recharge my own personal battieries. To start these days in a relaxed mood, we have a casual outfit post, featuring one of the hottest trends of the moment: the number print t-shirt, for a sporty chic look. The basic rules for these tees are: they have a printed number on the front, just like football or basketball players tees, they're larger than average (pick a larger size to make it look as if you stole it from your boyfriend's closet) and you are supposed to mix them up with something extremely feminine, just like high heels and a clutch, like I did.

Ciao a tutti ! Sono lieta di informarvi che, a cominciare da oggi, sarò in ferie per tutta la prossima settimana ! Non tantissimo, ma abbastanza per tentare di ricaricare le mie personalissime batterie. Per iniziare queste giornate con un mood rilassato, ecco un outfit post casual, incentrato su uno dei trend del momento: la maglia con numero stampato, per un look sporty chic. Le regole di base per queste maglie sono: hanno un numero stampato sul davanti, proprio come le maglie dei giocatori di football o basket, sono più larghe del solito (sceglietene una di una taglia più grande per far sembrare come se l'aveste rubata dall'armadio del vostro ragazzo) e andrebbero indossate con qualcosa di estremamente femminile, come i tacchi alti ed una clutch, come nel mio caso.

I highlighted the sporty look with black side band pants made in light fabric. Since the whole look was focused on black and white, I added touches of yellow, inspired by this cute leather bag I got from Persunmall. This bag can be worn also as a crossbody bag since it has a detachable chain shoulder strap. I decided to take it off and opt for the clutch version. See the bag better in the pic below.

Ho enfatizzato il look sportivo con pantaloni dalla banda laterale in tessuto leggero. Dato che l'intero look era in bianco e nero, ho aggiunto tocchi di giallo, ispirata da questa carinissima borsa in pelle di Persunmall. Questa borsa può essere indossata anche a tracolla, dato che è fornita di catena staccabile, ma questa volta ho deciso di toglierla e usarla come clutch. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sotto.

I added a few touches of yellow to this look with my China Glaze nail polish and an old H&M necklace. Mirror sunglasses completed the outfit, together with these shoes you can see better in the pic below. 

Ho aggiunto qualche tocco di giallo al look con lo smalto China Glaze ed una collana H&M. Occhiali a specchio hanno completato l'outfit, insieme alle scarpe che potete vedere meglio nella foto sotto.

Have you also tried this kind of look ? I personally like it, cause it is both comfortable and feminine. I prepared a little image about this trend, hope you like it. Of course, my husband wasn't crazy about this trend at first glance, he found it weird to mix sporty clothes and heels, but after a while he got used to it and it started to grow on him.  At least, I think if I go to his work place dressed like that he won't pretend he doesn't know me, ahahah :)

Avete provato questo tipo di look anche voi ? Personalmente mi piace, è sia comodo che femminile.  Ho preparato una immagine per illustrare questo trend, spero vi piaccia. Ovviamente, a mio marito questa moda non faceva impazzire all'inizio, credeva fosse strano mixare abiti sportivi con i tacchi, ma dopo un po' ci si è abituato ed ha iniziato ad apprezzarlo maggiormente. Adesso credo che se andrò a trovarlo sul suo posto di lavoro vestita così non farà finta di non conoscermi, ahahahah :)

I have always been pretty fascinated by large graffiti walls and street art in general, so I couldn't help adding this midi bodycon dress featuring a graffiti print to my not really plain and boring closet. I love its vibrant colors and it puts me in a summer holiday mood straight away. I should be banned from Asos website, since everytime I browse it, I end up buying something, I buy so often that the courier and I became good friends, LOL !

Sono sempre stata molto affascinata dai muri pieni di graffiti e dall'arte di strada in generale, così non ho potuto fare a meno di accogliere questo abito aderente di media lunghezza con la stampa graffiti nel mio sicuramente non sobrio o noioso guardaroba. Mi piacciono i suoi colori vividi e mi fa entrare subito in modalità vacanze estive. Dovrei essere bannata da Asos, ogni volta che visito il sito finisco per comprare qualcosa e compro così spesso che ormai io e il corriere abbiamo fatto amicizia, LOL !.

The white bag is another Asos purchase, I wanted a white bag that didn't cost too much money and this one looked cute, so here it is !. I am pretty satisfied with my purchase and I will be wearing it also with a more classic look. See it better in the pic below.

La borsa bianca è un altro acquisto fatto su Asos, ne volevo una senza dover spendere eccessivamente e questa mi è sembrata carina, eccola dunque ! Sono abbastanza soddisfatta del mio acquisto e la userò anche con look più classici. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sotto.

I felt like wearing a baseball cap in this outfit, and it wasn't cause I was having a bad hair day...actually, it was pretty windy so my choice was good...so glad my hat didn't fly away !. 

I think I look like a tourist, and it's great to look and feel as tourists in your own town, isn't it ?. I am lucky enough to live by the sea and therefore, especially in summer, the place is pretty crowded and there's a lot going on.

Mi è venuta voglia di indossare un cappello da baseball per questo outfit, e non perché avessi una brutta giornata con i capelli...comunque, c'era molto vento e la mia scelta si è rivelata azzeccata...sono contenta che il cappello non sia volato via !.

Penso di sembrare una turista, ed è bello sentirsi un po' turisti nella propria città, giusto ?. Sono fortunata a vivere sul mare e, pertanto, specialmente in estate, il posto è molto affollato e ci sono un sacco di eventi.

My Loriblu heels completed this look, together with mirror sunglasses with blue lenses and a coral lipstick. 

I also went for a white watch, I realized I am lazy when it comes to wearing other watches, I wear my Michael Kors rose gold watch way too much ! I actually was thinking about buying another one in silver.

My plan for the forthcoming week is one: having fun and enjoying life ! I have one week of holiday ahead and I wanna live it to the fullest, going back to the places hubby and I love so much, where we got married ! Fashion and Cookies is not going on holiday because I will be posting anyway, ...and the photographer will bring his camera, of course...he doesn't get a salary and doesn't get any vacation time, poor him ! ;). 

Possiamo mettere un po' di hip hop come colonna sonora di questo outfit ? Mi piace così tanto questo genere, e a voi ? Io ho tante canzoni hip hop e rap nel mio iPod ;).

I miei piani per la settimana sono: divertirmi e godermi la vita ! Ho una settimana di vacanza davanti a me e voglio viverla appieno, tornerò nei luoghi del mio matrimonio, posti che io e mio marito amiamo tanto ! Fashion and Cookies non sta andando in vacanza, posterò ugualmente anche se sarò un po' meno presente e, ad ogni modo, il fotografo porterà la sua Reflex, ovviamente, perché lui non percepisce salario né ha giorni liberi...poverino ! ;).

Hey, how are you all doing ? I am still on holidays in the South of Italy and enjoying it so much ! I will show you some of the outfits I've been sporting in Sorrento very soon, in the meantime I realized I didn't show you yet these these pics I have found in my camera, they are from last month and my days on the mountains in the opposite part of Italy, it's just a simple relaxed look I was wearing during my trip to "Bad Egart" - Sissi Museum - in Tyrol.

Ciao a tutti, come ve la passate ? Io sono in vacanza al Sud e me la sto godendo tutta ! Presto vi mostrerò alcuni degli outfit che ho indossato a Sorrento, nel frattempo mi sono accorta di non avervi ancora mostrato queste foto che risalgono al mese scorso, ai miei giorni in montagna nella parte opposta d'Italia, si tratta di un casual look molto semplice e comodo che ho indossato durante la mia visita al Museo di Sissi "Bad Egart", in Tirolo.

I won't bore you with my love for anything Princess Sissi related, blame it on the trilogy of movies I've been watching in loop since very young age ;), let's keep focused on this easy look that is also kind of low cost. A denim vest is a must have to spice up casual outfits and I love wearing one both with pants and with dresses. This partly sequinned one was bought at Pull & Bear. T-shirt is from Bershka and boyfriend jeans are from Zara.  

My latest pair of Converse shoes is has aztec printed, see them better in the pic below. I love them !. I confess I am affected by Converse mania...I would want to buy them in all colors and prints !.

Non vi voglio annoiare con i miei discorsi su quanto io ami tutto ciò che è riferito alla Principessa Sissi, forse è colpa della trilogia di film che ho visto troppe volte fin da bambina ;), restiamo concentrati sul look, che è molto facile ed anche abbastanza low cost. Un gilet di jeans è un capo indispensabile per ravvivare look casual e io adoro indossarne sia con i jeans che con abitini. Questo, in parte ricamato, è di Pull & Bear. La t-shirt è un acquisto fatto da Bershka e i boyfriend jeans sono Zara.

Il mio ultimo paio di Converse ha la stampa azteca, potete vederle meglio nella foto sotto. Confesso di essere affetta da Converse mania...le comprerei tutte, di ogni colore e stampa !.

My beloved Balenciaga City bag and my Asos studded sunglasses completed the look. My Balenciaga usually comes with me for my holidays also because it's very lightweight and it can fit into my luggage no problem, it's not bulky at all !. 

I admit I am not the best in packing when I have to go on holiday...I tend to bring way too many clothes and accessories...packing makes me anxious and annoyed, because I always try to fit too many things into my luggage ! What about you ? Are you also as terrible at packing as I am ?.

Of course, I end up for wearing only a small part of what I bring with me, anyway I wanna get better...I seriously need a packing trainer, but no matter what he'd say, I'd still bring my denim vest with me !.

La mia adorata Balenciaga City ed occhiali borchiati Asos hanno completato il look. Quando parto, la Balenciaga viene quasi sempre con me anche per la facilità con cui si ripone in valigia, è leggera e non voluminosa. Ammetto di non essere la migliore quando si tratta di fare i bagagli per andare in vacanza...tendo a portarmi troppi abiti e accessori e, pertanto, preparare la valigia mi rende ansiosa e nervosa, perché cerco sempre di farvi entrare troppe cose ! Che mi dite di voi, siete anche voi così tremendi nel prepararvi ad una vacanza ?.

Ovviamente, finisco con l'indossare solo una piccola parte di quanto porto con me, vorrei migliorare...ho decisamente bisogno di un coach che mi addestri a fare i bagagli, ma non riuscirebbe mai a non farmi mettere il gilet di jeans tra le cose da portare !.

Good things always seem to come to an end pretty quickly...my vacation in Sorrento is over, I am back home and I have a few outfit pics from these past days to show you.

Let's start with a...spicy look, featuring a chili pepper print dress. I thought it would be perfect to start my holiday,  also to homage the famous and delicious Sorrento cooking, moreover I am a chili peppers lover ! What about you, can you handle the spice ?.

Le cose belle sembrano sempre finire troppo velocemente...la mia vacanza a Sorrento è terminata, sono di nuovo a casa e ho un bel po' di foto outfit di questi giorni da mostrarvi. 

Iniziamo con un...look piccante, con un abito a stampa peperoncini. Ho pensato che fosse perfetto per dare il via alla vacanza, anche per rendere omaggio alla famosa e deliziosa cucina sorrentina, inoltre sono una vera appassionata di peperoncino ! Che mi dite di voi, riuscite a sopportare il piccante ?.

Wedges is what you need to walk in the crowded and narrow streets of Sorrento, filled with tiny artisan shops, full with colors and sounds. I opted for my Steve Madden wedges in a neutral color, they are high enough but very comfy. See them better in the pic below, together with my Tiffany colored toes, lol.

Le zeppe sono ciò di cui si ha bisogno per camminare nei vicoletti affollati di Sorrento, pieni di botteghe artigiane e ricchi di colori e suoni. Ho optato per le zeppe Steve Madden in colore neutro, sono abbastanza alte ma molto comode. Potete vederle meglio nella foto sotto, insieme alle mie unghie color Tiffany, lol.

I had my Longchamp bag with me, it's so lightweight and can fit into my luggage, so it's one of my options for travelling. I think it looked good with the dress !. The whole look was very simple, I didn't need to add much because the print was already eye catching.

My green (as basil !) mirrored sunglasses completed this "mediterranean" look !.

Avevo con me la mia borsa Longchamp, così leggera e facile da mettere in valigia, è ormai diventata una delle mie scelte per quando viaggio. Penso si accordasse bene all'abito !. L'intero look è molto semplice, non ho avuto bisogno di aggiungere altro dato che la stampa dell'abitino era già abbastanza vistosa.

I miei occhiali a specchio verdi (come il basilico ;)) hanno completato questo look dal sapore mediterraneo !.

Are you holidays over, as well ?. I will be back at work on Monday, so I am trying to make the best of these last few days. I had a really great time in Sorrento, as I always do, it's a very special place for hubby and I so we go back whenever we can. The only bad things is that we tend to eat too much when we go there, especially a lot of pasta, pizza and cake ! Hello everyone, what are you up to ? I got back to work, therefore this post is making me a bit nostalgic...even if it happened only a few days ago, I know the beautiful feeling of being on holidays fades away pretty quickly !. Yes, it was only last week when I was in this wonderful place, where the sea meets the sky, and was enjoying the colors, the perfumes and the food of the beautiful Nerano coast. 

Ciao a tutti, che mi raccontate di bello ? Io sono rientrata al lavoro, pertanto questo post mi mette un po' di nostalgia...anche se sono passati pochi giorni, la bella sensazione di essere in vacanza svanisce troppo velocemente ! Sì, era solo la settimana scorsa quando mi trovavo in questo splendido luogo, dove il cielo incontra il mare, e mi godevo i colori, i profumi ed il cibo della bella costa di Nerano.

This long, colorful strapless dress had been waiting in my closet for a while, just to be worn in a place like this. I love its colors, the print reminds me of a Missoni print. It's perfect for hot, sunny days, for feeling a bit boho chic and for being a tourist !.

Questo abito lungo e colorato aspettava da un bel po' di essere indossato e questo mi è sembrato il posto giusto. Amo i suoi colori, la stampa mi ricorda quelle di Missoni. Lo trovo perfetto per giornate calde e soleggiate, per sentirmi un po' boho chic e fare la turista !.

   

I decided to wear my brand new panama hat, an original ecuadorian hat I have found in a nice shop in Sorrento, the brand is ecua-andino, I found out they have a website that is totally worth visiting !. I fell in love with this azure color and with the quality of the hat, very lightweight and handwoven in Ecuador. A nice hat protected me from too much sun and gave a special touch to the whole look. I matched an azure necklace, an old one bought at H&M I still love wearing. A few statement necklaces are a must have in my luggage, I find them so useful to play with looks !.

Ho deciso di indossare subito il mio nuovo cappello panama che ho trovato in un bel negozietto a Sorrento, il brand è ecua-andino, ho scoperto solo in seguito che hanno un sito meritevole di visita !. Mi sono innamorata del suo azzurro e dell'ottima qualità, è leggerissimo e fatto a mano in Ecuador. Un bel cappello mi ha protetta dal sole e ha dato un tocco speciale all'intero look. Indossavo anche una collana nei toni dell'azzurro, un vecchio acquisto fatto da H&M che mi piace ancora indossare. Qualche collana vistosa viene sempre con me quando viaggio, sono utilissime per giocare con i look !.

I was wearing my Amaranti rafia wedges and Balenciaga City bag, to be both chic and comfy ! We spent the morning walking on the beach, laughing and enjoying the view, then we headed to our favorite restaurant, "Lo Scoglio", we go there everytime because we are so in love with the cooking and for the place, really romantic, with a terrace on the sea, easy to reach also from the boats.  

Ai piedi portavo le mie zeppe in rafia Amaranti e come borsa la Balenciaga City, per essere chic ma comoda ! Abbiamo trascorso la mattina passeggiando sulla spiaggia, ridendo e godendoci la vista, poi ci siamo diretti al nostro ristorante preferito, "Lo Scoglio", ci andiamo ogni volta sia perché la cucina merita davvero (fanno i migliori spaghetti alle zucchine mai provati !) sia per la posizione super romantica, con terrazza in mezzo al mare, raggiungibile anche dalle barche.

 

This day was truly perfect and very fun and I will keep it in my memories. Another thing to remember is that hubby liked my maxi dress look, and it's pretty unusual since he doesn't love maxi skirts or dresses as much as I do ! Do you like to wear maxi dresses as well ? And do you own a panama hat ?.

Questa giornata è stata perfetta e molto divertente e ne conserverò il ricordo. Un'altra cosa che non dimenticherò è che il maritino ha gradito questo mio look con un maxi abito, cosa veramente inusuale dato che di solito non ama le gonne lunghe e neanche gli abiti maxi, sicuramente non quanto me ! A voi piace indossare abiti lunghi ? E avete un panama anche voi ?.

There are times when dressing up in a tee and shorts, and going out with music in my ears is the best option of all, it means freedom from the stress and negative thoughts. This happens especially when I am on holidays, I love walking around with one of my mp3 players and headphones, knowing I have my favorite songs keeping me company. 

This outfit with a background soundtrack is another look I sported in Sorrento during my holidays, featuring my Stradivarius white lace shorts and a green "Nerd" print tee bought on Asos.

Ci sono giorni in cui vestirsi in shorts e maglietta, uscendo con la mia musica nelle orecchie rappresenta l'opzione migliore di tutte, significa sentirsi libera dallo stress e dai pensieri negativi. Ciò accade specialmente quando sono in vacanza, adoro andarmene in giro con uno dei miei lettori mp3 e la cuffia, sapendo che ci sono le mie canzoni preferite a tenermi compagnia.

The espadrillas shoes have been a huge trend this season, and I wasn't too convinced about them, yet I bought one pair in white lace, for quite a bargain price. I wouldn't have bought an expensive pair like the famous Chanel ones, but I wanted to give this trend a chance, and I am happy I did, cause I ended up wearing them more than I would have thought before !. In this outfit the white espadrillas (see them better in the pic below), besides being so comfy for my long walk thru Marina Piccola in Sorrento, helped me to keep it white and green ;)

Le espadrillas sono state uno dei trend più hot per questa stagione, ed io non ero del tutto convinta che mi piacessero, ma ne ho preso questo paio in pizzo bianco, per un prezzo davvero conveniente. Non avrei speso tanto per quelle Chanel, tanto per capirci, ma volevo dare una chance a questa moda, e sono felice di averlo fatto, perché sono finita per usarle più del previsto ! In questo outfit, le espadrillas bianche (i dettagli nella foto sotto) oltre ad essere super comode per la mia lunga passeggiata a Marina Piccola a Sorrento, mi hanno aiutata a mantenere solo i colori bianco e verde ;)

 

As bag, I opted for my Rebecca Minkoff mini zipper one, I didn't want to go out with a heavy bag and this one was green, so both size and color were perfect !.

I had my Casio Illuminator watch, because after all a nerd would go for it, am I right ? ;-)

Are you curious to know what I was listening ? My mp3 player is stuffed with loads of songs, they go from rap, r'n'b to disco dance, both 70s and 80s music (which I am fond of) and common pop music. I also have a few latin pop songs and merengue/salsa/reggaeton songs, I already told you I am a salsa lover and dancer ;). Do you like listening to the music ? What kind of music do you keep in your mp3 player ?.

Come borsa, ho optato per la mini zipper Rebecca Minkoff, di dimensioni e colore perfetti al mio scopo !. Avevo al polso il mio Casio Illuminator perché dopotutto un nerd sceglierebbe proprio quello, giusto ? ;-)

Siete curiosi di sapere cosa stavo ascoltando ? Il mio lettore mp3 è pieno di canzoni di generi diversi, dal rap, r'n'b alla disco dance, sia anni '70 e '80 (la mia passione) alla comune pop music. Ho anche diverse canzoni latine e merengue/salsa/reggaeton, vi ho già detto che sono amante della salsa sia per l'ascolto che per il ballo ;).

Hubby took loads of landscape pics from the Marina Piccola dock, also because from this place we could see, by far, the villa where we held our wedding reception in 2011...tons of great memories that belong to our story. 

It was really a beautiful afternoon and I wish I could have a walk like this one every single day, being in open air in a sunny day is such a mood lifting and the only thing that can keep a wannabe nerd like me away from her pc ! ;-))

Mio marito ha scattato molte foto al paesaggio dalla banchina di Marina Piccola, anche perché da dove ci trovavamo potevamo vedere, sulla scogliera e da lontano, la villa dove si è tenuto il ricevimento del nostro matrimonio nel 2011...un sacco di bei ricordi che appartengono alla nostra storia.

E' stato un pomeriggio molto piacevole e vorrei poter fare un giro come questo ogni giorno, starsene all'aria aperta in una giornata di sole è un vero toccasana per l'umore e l'unica cosa che può far dimenticare il computer ad una aspirante nerd come me ! ;-))

Hello everyone, and please...I don't want you to wake me up when September ends, I actually love this month ! It is also my birth month (did somebody say "presents" ? ;)), and a perfect time to start afresh and have many plans for the future !. Do you agree with me ?.

I love Summer and I am not totally ready to leave it behind, but at the same time I am looking forward to many things this Fall ! Before looking ahead, let's recap my outfits for the previous month ! In August had the chance to wear a few cute dresses, as well as a couple of more casual outfits. I am curious to know what is your favorite outfit, do not forget to let me know !.

Amo l'Estate e non sono pronta a lasciarmela alle spalle, ma allo stesso tempo ci sono tante cose che aspetto con ansia per questo Autunno. Sometimes you end up falling in love with dresses that aren't that easy to wear, just like this one: short, in a light satin fabric that seems to move and wrinkle at any little movement, with a weird cut on the shoulders. Then, you look at the dress twice and you decide you'll buy it because you like it too much to leave it, because of the colors and because, being a statement piece, it's also a sort of challenge with yourself. 

This is what happened to me with this mini dress I bought last Spring in Riccione at Nina Ademar shop. The colors and the fun paisley print convinced me to buy it, I ended up wearing this 60s style satin dress in a hot and windy summer evening, during my holiday in Sorrento.

A volte capita di innamorarti di un abito non così facile da portare, proprio come questo: corto, in tessuto leggero di raso che sembra muoversi e stropicciarsi ad ogni piccolo movimento, con un taglio strano sulle spalle. Poi, lo guardi un'altra volta e decidi che lo comprerai perché ti piace troppo per lasciarlo lì, per i bei colori e perché essendo particolare è anche una sorta di sfida personale. 

Questo è quanto mi è successo con questo mini vestito comprato la scorsa primavera a Riccione, da Nina Ademar. I colori e la fantasia jacquard mi hanno convinta a farlo mio e ho finito per indossare questo abitino in raso stile anni '60 in una calda e ventosa sera d'estate, durante la mia vacanza a Sorrento.

I decided to go for similar colors for my shoes and my necklace: my Cesare Paciotti fuchsia suede shoes matched the paisley print so well (see them better in the pic below).

The sparkly blue necklace is one of my old purchases at H&M, you never fail when you buy statement necklaces, this is sure !. 

Ho deciso di optare per colori simili a quelli dell'abito per scarpe e collana: le mie scarpe in camoscio fucsia Cesare Paciotti hanno la stessa tonalità della stampa jacquard (potete vederle meglio nella foto sottostante).

La collana blu luccicosa è uno dei miei vecchi acquisti fatti da H&M, non si sbaglia mai ad accumulare collane, questo è certo !.

As bag, I went for my yellow Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag, I wanted to have a stand out item in a color that would look good with cobalt blue. Moreover, I wasn't home so I only had a few bags with me, and this one was the one that looked better with this look !. I just took the shoulder strap off cause in this case it looked better as a clutch. Bags that become clutches are a wonderful thing, oh yeah !.

Come borsa, ho scelto la MAC gialla Rebecca Minkoff. Volevo un accessorio che staccasse come colore ma che stesse bene con il blu cobalto dell'abito, inoltre non ero a casa ma avevo solo poche borse con me e questa era la scelta migliore !. Ho tolto la tracollina perché in questa occasione la borsa era più adatta ad essere portata come clutch. Le borse che diventano clutch sono una invenzione geniale, oh yeah !.

Chanel Bel Argus nail polish on my nails, a few bracelets (including a new one, beaded) and my round Asos sunglasses completed this elegant 60s inspired look. 

I had my hair tied up and was so happy about it, cause it was very windy and for once I didn't end up with my lipstick stains all over my cheeks !. 

Lo smalto Chanel Bel Argus sulle unghie, qualche braccialetto (incluso uno nuovo, in perline) e i miei occhiali rotondi Asos hanno completato questo look elegante e ispirato agli anni '60.

Avevo i capelli legati e ne sono stata felice, in quanto era molto ventoso e per una volta non sono finita con il rossetto a macchie sulle guance, come accade con i capelli sciolti !.

We had a fun evening and my lip color didn't fade because I was wearing Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip color in crush, maybe the most vibrant and long wear colored lipstick I own. Love the fuchsia shade so much !. This makes me think that I bought some new make up items the other day that I'd love to show you...gotta find the time to take pictures before I end up for using them and messing things up !. I am always so excited for new make up lines at this time of the year...are you excited about new fashion and make up collections ? I bet the answer is yes !.

Ci siamo divertiti quella sera e il colore sulle mie labbra non è sbiadito perché portavo il rossetto Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip color nel colore crush, il piàù vivace e a lunga durata che possiedo. Mi piace molto il fucsia !. Parlare di make up mi fa venire in mente che ho diverse novità acquistate l'altro giorno che mi piacerebbe mostrarvi...devo solo trovare il tempo di scattare le foto prima di usarle e di rovinare tutto !. Sono sempre molto eccitata per le nuove linee di make up in questo periodo dell'anno...e voi, siete ansiose di vedere le nuove collezioni di moda e di make up ? Scommetto che la risposta è sì !.

Fashion and Cookies made it again also in August to be in the best italian fashion blogs rank on Scenariomag.it ! I don't usually give importance to rankings or such things, because to me blogging is a fun thing and the passion we put into our blogs has nothing to do with our rankings, this is not a competition, at all. I am just happy about it cause I saw this blog growing up and I spend most of my free time from work working on it...:)

Fashion and Cookies ce l'ha fatta nuovamente, anche ad Agosto, ad essere nella classifica dei 50 fashion blog italiani su Scenariomag.it !. Solitamente non do importanza a classifiche o roba del genere, perché per me il blog è un divertimento e credo fermamente che la passione che ci mettiamo non abbia niente a che vedere con numeri e classifiche, questa non è una competizione. Sono solo felice per questa classifica perché ho visto crescere il blog e migliorare sempre di più e trovavo molto strano che fosse escluso, nonostante i numeri alla mano, da un'altra classifica...

Here we are with another look from my holidays, with an outfit that could be worn also for a day of work, with the add of a short jacket and, of course, taking the hat and the mirror sunglasses off !. The main color of this daytime look is green, one of my favorite colors...green like the chevron print of my Darling Clothes dress, like my sandals and like other accessories. The only thing I do not have is a green thumb, the only plant I am good at taking care of is a plastic one, but this is another story !.

Eccoci con un altro dei miei look vacanzieri, con un insieme che potrebbe andare bene anche per un giorno di lavoro, con l'aggiunta di un giacchino e, ovviamente, senza il cappello e gli occhiali a specchio !. Il colore principale di questo look da giorno è il verde, uno dei miei colori preferiti...verde come le righe del mio abitino Darling Clothes, come i sandali e gli altri accessori. L'unica cosa che non è verde di sicuro è il mio pollice, l'unica pianta della quale riesca a prendermi cura è in plastica, ma questa è un'altra storia !.

I've been wanting something chevron print for quite a long time, and when I saw this dress I knew it was the right one for me !. I just changed the belt it came with, it had a fuchsia belt with a little bow...I went for my small Miu Miu burgundy leather belt, I liked it more like that.

As bag, I opted for my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, very comfortable for travels and neutral enough to look good with a colorful outfit.

Volevo qualcosa con la stampa "chevron", ovvero righe a zig zag, da diverso tempo, e quando ho visto questo abito ho saputo subito che era giunto il momento !. Ho solo cambiato la cintura, ne aveva una fucsia, lucida, con un fiocchetto sul davanti...le ho preferito una cintura semplice in pelle bordeaux Miu Miu.

Come borsa, ho optato per la mia fedele Speedy 30 Louis Vuitton, molto comoda per i viaggi e abbastanza "neutra" per non stonare in un contesto già parecchio colorato !.

That day the weather in Sorrento was perfect: sunny and with a soft summer breeze (see the breeze playing with my dress above, hehe). 

A green panama hat purchased in a small tourists shop protected me from the sun and added a nice touch to the whole look. I was already a big hats lover in winter, now I am turning into a hat lover on all seasons !.

In quel giorno il meteo a Sorrento era perfetto: soleggiato e con una leggera brezza (potete vederla giocare con il mio abito nella foto sopra, hehe). Un cappello modello panama verde comprato in un negozietto per turisti mi ha protetta dal sole ed ha anche aggiunto un tocco simpatico all'intero look. Ero già un'amante dei cappelli invernali, adesso ne sto diventando appassionata in tutte le stagioni !.

The green necklace was a purchase at Pull & Bear from some time ago. I always check their jewelry counter when I go there, I happen to find many beautiful and very affordable items !.

I also bought a couple of beautiful necklaces in Sorrento, I will show you soon, and I have to confess the thought of making my own necklaces crossed my mind, I have so many ideas, shame I have such a little time !.

The past two weeks have been really hectic at work and made me miss my holiday time even more ! I am counting the days to my birthday (September 16th), I will take a couple of days off from work then, to celebrate !.

La collana verde è un acquisto fatto un bel po' di tempo addietro da Pull & Bear, ogni volta che ci passo guardo sempre nel loro espositore di collane e bracciali, ci trovo spesso cose molto carine ed economiche !.

Ho comprato anche un paio di collane molto belle a Sorrento, ve le mostrerò presto e devo anche confessare che ho avuto il pensiero di farmi delle collane con le mie mani, ho tante idee, peccato avere poco tempo per realizzarle !.

Le due settimane lavorative appena passate sono state frenetiche e mi hanno fatto mancare le mie vacanze ancora di più !. Ora conto i giorni che mi separano dal mio compleanno (16 settembre), prenderò un paio di giorni di ferie per festeggiare !.

My green look was completed by my Oakley green mirror sunglasses. I am not tired of mirror sunnies, yet, anyway when I will be sick of them I will change the lenses to black ones and that's all. In the meantime, I keep complaining I have not enough space anymore to store them, but of course I keep on buying new sunglasses...that's so me !.

Il mio look in verde è stato completato dagli occhiali Oakley a specchio, lenti verdi. Non mi sono ancora stancata degli occhiali a specchio, ma quando lo farò mi basterà cambiare le lenti in lenti nere. Nel frattempo, mi lamento di non avere abbastanza spazio per conservarli tutti, ma questo non mi impedisce di comprarne altri...tipico mio comportamento !.

A shopaholic person usually has an insanely stuffed closet...Mine surely is, sometimes it's even hard to find a certain dress or shirt, cause I have too many hangers there, I am sure you see what I mean !. There are clothes I don't wear enough and clothes that I kept in my closet in time, just like this flower print Kenzo shirt, it's from several seasons ago and I haven't been wearing it for years, until this summer, I decided to bring it up again and take it with me on my holidays, and I am happy about this return !.

Una persona maniaca dello shopping ha, solitamente, un armadio strapieno...il mio lo è sicuramente, spesso mi è difficile trovare un preciso abito o una camicia, troppe grucce si vanno a intersecare una sull'altra, sono sicura che capiate cosa intendo !. Ci sono abiti che finisco per indossare troppo poco e altri che mi seguono nel tempo, come questa camicia floreale Kenzo, di tante stagioni addietro, che non ho indossato per anni ma che, quest'estate, ho deciso di "rispolverare" e portare con me in vacanza, e sono felice di questo ritorno !.

Always a huge fan of Kenzo prints, I am still in love with this one, a mixture of azure, blue, light green and delicate pink, in a shirt with a oversized and flare cut. I decided to wear it with a simple, ankle cut straight pair of jeans.

As a shopaholic, I tend to buy a lot and also to experiment with different trends, but I am really happy when I realize I bought something beautiful and lasting in time.

Da sempre una fan delle stampe Kenzo, sono ancora innamorata di questa, un mix di azzurro, blu, verde leggero e rosa delicato, il tutto su una camicia dal taglio svasato e oversize. Ho deciso di proporla con un semplice paio di jeans dritti, alla caviglia.

Da tipica shopaholic, tendo a comprare molto e a voler sperimentare con i diversi trend, ma sono davvero felice quando mi rendo conto di aver acquistato un capo bello e durevole nel tempo.

I decided to wear this casual outfit with my very high Loriblu sandals, in lime green suede. You can see them better in the pic below, together with my Tiffany blue toenails ;).

After all, holidays are a perfect time to wear colors and...sky high heels, right ?.

Ho deciso di indossare questa mise casual con i miei sandali altissimi Loriblu, in camoscio verde lime. Li potete vedere meglio nella foto sottostante, insieme al mio smalto color Tiffany ;). Dopotutto, le vacanze sono perfette per esagerare un po' con i colori e...con i tacchi, giusto ?.

In this phase of my life, after my "all black" teenage years and University years lived wearing only a few colors, I am having too much fun wearing the whole rainbow shades, and I went for an orange clutch that, somehow, fits in the whole look. At least, I think it does. It's as orange as my lipstick ;).

In questo periodo della mia vita, dopo un'adolescenza "total black" e gli anni dell'Università nei quali indossavo solo pochi colori, mi sto divertendo troppo a sperimentare le sfumature dell'arcobaleno, e ho scelto una clutch arancio che, non so come, sta bene con l'intero look, almeno io credo che stia bene. E' arancione come il mio rossetto ;) 

A lovely handmade necklace bought in Sorrento completed the look, together with blue lenses mirror sunglasses and blue "Bel Argus" nail polish (Chanel). 

A simple look built around my Kenzo shirt, a quality piece in my wardrobe that I had the chance to appreciate once more also thanks to my mum, that as a speleologist found this shirt among the (too many) items I left at my parents' house before moving into the house I am living with my husband at the moment. 

There are several quality clothes I would like to bring back, and I wonder where they are...I think, anyway, we need Indiana Jones to complete the job !.

Un look semplice costruito intorno alla camicia Kenzo, un pezzo di qualità nel mio guardaroba che ho avuto l'occasione di apprezzare ancora anche grazie a mia madre, che come una speleologa è riuscita a ritrovarla tra le (troppe) cose lasciate a casa dei miei prima di trasferirmi nella casa dove vivo ora con mio marito. 

Ci sono molti capi di qualità che vorrei tornare ad indossare, e mi chiedo dove siano finite...credo, però, che ci voglia Indiana Jones per completare il lavoro !.

A cloudy sky and Fall getting very near, perfect time to sip a cup of coffee and relax at the pc, browsing online webshops looking for new fashion cravings to wish for !. I am an avid online shopper, and one of the reasons is that I like to buy items I can't find in my town, and also because very often I found out prices online are more convenient, also thanks to discount codes ;).

Yes, the cookiejar column is back: today I want to show you some dresses and accessories I have found on one of my favorite online shopping websites, Zalando !.

Cielo nuvoloso e l'Autunno che si avvicina sempre più, tempo perfetto per sorseggiare una tazza di caffé e rilassarsi davanti al pc, navigando tra vetrine online, alla ricerca di nuovi oggetti del desiderio da comprare !. Sono una grande sostenitrice dello shopping online, sia perché mi piace avere una scelta maggiore e comprare anche articoli che non troverei nella mia città, ma anche perché molto spesso ho scoperto che i prezzi online sono molto più convenienti, anche grazie ai codici sconto ;).

La rubrica "thecookiejar" è tornata: oggi voglio mostrarvi alcuni abiti e accessori che ho trovato su uno dei miei negozi online preferiti, Zalando !.

On Zalando I find so many brands and beautiful things, and I admit I have a special attraction to French Connection dresses, especially the elegant ones. I was wearing a French Connection dress to the wedding of a dear friend a few months ago and I received many compliments about the beauty of the dress and its delicate sequins. Now I am lusting over the French Connection dresses above, all found on Zalando, love them all, the lace one, the animalier dress is lovely and that black and white sequin dress is adorable, but my favorite dress is number 3.

Do you like those dresses ? What is your favorite one ?. I think in the end I will go for my favorite dress because that pop of cobalt blue is irresistible to me. Of course, when I buy it, I will remember to check Magico Sconto, a portal where I can find all the discount codes for the most popular e-commerce websites, including Zalando ! This will make my online shopping experience even better !.

Su Zalando riesco a trovare molti brand e cose che mi piacciono, inoltre hanno gli abiti French Connection, per i quali ho un debole, specialmente per quelli eleganti. Indossavo proprio un abito di questo brand al matrimonio di una cara amica, qualche mese fa, e ho ricevuto molti complimenti per i suoi ricami molto delicati e particolari. 

Ora ho messo gli occhi sugli abiti French Connection che vedete sopra, tutti trovati su Zalando, mi piacciono molto sia quello in pizzo che quello in bianco e nero e l'animalier, ma il mio preferito è il numero 3.

Vi piacciono ? Quale prendereste ?. Io credo che cederò al mio preferito, quel tocco di cobalto è irresistibile. Ovviamente, in caso di acquisto, mi ricorderò di farlo con il codice sconto Zalando di Magico Sconto, è fantastico perché permette un maggiore risparmio, lo consiglio caldamente anche a voi ! La vostra esperienza di shopping online sarà sicuramente migliore !.

Accessories always do make the difference. Other must haves I have found on Zalando are: Michael Kors "Chelsea" black leather clutch and DKNY black leather pumps, because I would love something black, simple but with a rock twist.

Then, I love that silk plaid foulard (McQ Alexander McQueen), I think it's chic and would add a touch of color to my outfits and be, at the same time, very trendy since this Fall plaid is gonna be everywhere !. Number 4 is a statement necklace that is so beautiful, brand is Deepa Gurnani and that in my opinion fits very well in my cookiejar ! What would you buy ? Do you already own something similar ?.

Gli accessori fanno sempre la differenza. Altri must haves che ho trovato su Zalando sono: la clutch Michael Kors "Chelsea", in pelle nera con catena e le pumps in pelle DKNY, perché ho voglia di nero, lineare ma con un tocco rock.

Poi, mi piace quel foulard in seta a stampa tartan (McQ Alexander McQueen), lo trovo molto chic e so che darebbe un bel tocco di colore ai miei outfits, incorporando anche il trend dell'Autunno...sappiamo già che il tartan sarà praticamente ovunque !.

Al numero 4 troviamo una collana importante che trovo bellissima, il brand è Deepa Gurnani ed è entrata di diritto nella mia biscottiera virtuale ! Voi tra queste cose che comprereste ? Avete già qualcosa di simile ?.

This outfit is the last one from my holidays serie and it's based on a very cute Yumi cocktail dress with a print featuring tucanos and drinks, a romantic 50s inspired party dress I decided to wear for daytime and therefore I styled with colorful accessories !. A drinks print makes this dress THE real cocktail dress ! ;).

Questo outfit è l'ultimo tra quelli delle vacanze, è incentrato su un abito da cocktail molto carino, di Yumi, con una stampa raffigurante tucani e drinks, un abito da party romantico stile anni '50 che ho deciso di indossare per il pomeriggio e che, per questo, ho abbinato ad accessori colorati !. Una stampa con i drinks fanno di questo abito IL vero abito da cocktail ! ;).

I styled this lovely dress with my pink Loriblu heels, in leather and lace (see pic above for more details). I remember buying these shoes in something like 5 minutes, attracted by their color and vintage inspired shape. 

I decided to dare adding even more color, with my yellow Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag, that was a true outfit saver this summer and I am sure I will keep wearing this Fall, since this shade of warm yellow will keep on being trendy also on next season.

Ho scelto di indossare le mie scarpe rosa Loriblu, in pelle e pizzo (nella foto sopra trovate maggiori dettagli). Mi ricordo di aver comprato queste scarpe in 5 minuti, subito attratta dal colore e dalla forma un po' retrò. Ho deciso di osare aggiungendo ulteriore colore con la borsa gialla MAC Rebecca Minkoff, che è stata un vero jolly quest'estate e sono sicura di sfruttare ancora per l'Autunno, dato che questa tonalità calda di giallo continuerà ad essere proposta anche per la prossima stagione.

I completed this look with a vintage style necklace bought at Accessorize and cat eye sunglasses. Also, I wore a soft pink lipstick, an exception to my usual love for bolder lips, and had nail polish matching my shoes. 

I can totally see myself wearing this dress again for a more formal event, with black accessories and, since it's gonna be colder, a short cardigan on my shoulders.

Ho completato questo look con una collana stile vintage presa da Accessorize e occhiali "cat eye". Inoltre, ho usato un rossetto rosa chiaro, un'eccezione al mio solito amore per rossetti più decisi, e ho scelto uno smalto che ricordasse il colore delle scarpe. 

Per un evento più formale, indosserò ancora questo abitino con accessori neri e, dato che le temperature vanno scendendo, un cardigan corto sulle spalle.

As I told you already, I am gonna be off from work for two days, on my birthday and the day after (16th and 17th), I am glad I will have a mini "run away trip" not with hubby not far from home but far enough from work and its problems. I am just not happy about the weather forecast, I read it's gonna be rainy and colder...Fall truly is coming, but it could have waited after my birthday, right ?. I am sure I will have fun anyway, the most important thing is to be together and, after all, we can find a shelter into shops...I am sure hubby can't wait, LOL !.

Come vi avevo anticipato, avrò due giorni liberi dal lavoro, per il mio compleanno e il giorno dopo (16 e 17), sono felice di avere questa piccola "fuga" con il maritino non troppo lontana da casa ma lontana abbastanza dal lavoro e dai suoi problemi. Non sono molto contenta del bollettino meteo, che preannuncia una forte perturbazione con pioggia e temperature in netto calo...l'Autunno sta veramente arrivando, ma poteva aspettare dopo il mio compleanno, no ?. Sono comunque sicura che ci divertiremo, la cosa più importante è stare insieme e al massimo troveremo rifugio nei negozi...sono sicura che mio marito non vede l'ora, ihihihi !.

Hey ! How are you all ? I had a fantastic birthday, thanks everyone for your wishes, they made my day ! Now it's time for a new outfit post, waiting for the pics I took with my new birthday present that some of you surely saw already on my Instagram and on Facebook and that I simply adore ;). 

This is a simple look, featuring a bicolor pleated grey and yellow dress from Woakao. I love the pleated bottom and yellow makes me look more tanned...even tho my tan is quickly fading away, as it happens every year !.

Ciao ! Come state ? Io ho avuto uno splendido compleanno, grazie di cuore per gli auguri, mi hanno fatto un immenso piacere ! Ora è giunto il momento di un nuovo post outfit, in attesa delle foto scattate con il mio regalo che alcuni di voi avranno già visto su Instagram e su Facebook e che adoro letteralmente ;).

Si tratta di un look semplice, con un abitino bicolore plissè grigio e giallo di Woakao. Mi piace molto la parte inferiore a pieghe ed il giallo mi fa sembrare più abbronzata...sebbene la mia abbronzatura stia andando via velocemente, come ormai accade ogni anno !.

Michael Kors silver watch

This dress isn't the only new thing I am sporting, I have a new pair of sunnies, Wayfarer from Dolce & Gabbana, and I got myself a new watch from Michael Kors, I had the rose gold one and now I have it in silver, too. I started getting treats for myself long before my birthday, eheh !.

L'abito non è la sola cosa nuova che indosso, ho anche un nuovo paio di occhiali da sole, modello Wayfarer Dolce & Gabbana, e ho preso un nuovo orologio Michael Kors, dopo quello rosato ho voluto averlo anche in argento. Ho iniziato con gli auto-regali un bel po' prima del mio compleanno, eheh !.

Since this dress is pretty simple, I spiced it up with accessories, wearing a statement necklace bought in Sorrento and also having a Stradivarius beaded clutch as bag, you can see it better in the pic below, isn't it cute ?. 

Dato che l'abito è abbastanza semplice, l'ho vivacizzato con gli accessori, indossando una collana particolare comprata a Sorrento e usando una clutch Stradivarius ricamata a perline come borsa, potete vederla meglio nella foto sotto, molto carina, vero ?.

My Cesare Paciotti grey sandals with studs completed the look. These sandals are among my favorite shoes, I love their shape and they are super comfortable in spite of their tiny stiletto heels.

One of the things that bothers me about Fall is that I am gonna start wearing tights again...naked legs are so much better ! I am not brave enough to wear no tights when it's cold, anyway...I'd catch a cold in no time ! So, I am holding on to these last warm days...and soon I will have to go back to cover my legs !. Are you also dreading the return of tights ?.

I miei sandali grigi con borchiette Cesare Paciotti hanno completato il look. Queste scarpe sono sicuramente tra le mie preferite in assoluto, mi piacciono come design e inoltre sono veramente comode, nonostante i loro sottilissimi tacchi a spillo !. 

Una delle cose che mi infastidiscono maggiormente dell'Autunno è l'imminente ritorno delle calze...le gambe nude sono molto meglio ! Non sono abbastanza coraggiosa da perseverare senza le calze anche quando fa freddo, comunque...prenderei un bel raffreddore in un batter d'occhio ! Dunque, mi godo gli ultimi giorni di tepore, sapendo che resto dovrò tornare a coprirmi ! Siete anche voi scocciate all'idea del ritorno delle calze ?.

Before I start feeling sad about Summer being at the end, I have to remember that Fall is fantastic...it's perfect for new beginnings and I love its colors, I love the fact most of my beloved tv series are back this Fall, I can't wait for new shopping, there are new trends to explore, new adventures with this blog and much, much more ! What about you ? Are you more sad about Summer being almost finished or thrilled about what Fall can give you ?.

Prima di iniziare a sentirmi triste per la fine dell'Estate, devo ricordare che l'Autunno è fantastico...perfetto per nuovi inizi, amo i suoi colori, amo il fatto che la maggior parte delle mie adorate serie tv torni proprio questo Autunno, non vedo l'ora di fare nuovo shopping, ci sono nuovi trends da esplorare, nuove avventure con questo blog e molto, molto altro ! Che mi dite di voi ? Siete più tristi per la fine dell'Estate o eccitati per quanto vi attende in Autunno ?.

It's not a mistery that I like statement prints. You've been seeing me wearing all sorts of prints by now...and yet, you never saw me with a bunny print dress...at least, not until NOW !. I have found this amazing Ruby Rocks rabbit print dress on Surfdome.com, a lovely webstore selling clothes and accessories and stocking over 900 lifestyle brands. As a huge rabbit lover and a former proud owner of two bunny rabbits I miss so much, I have to say I loved wearing this piece even more !.

Non è un mistero che mi piacciano le stampe particolari. Mi avete vista indossare ogni tipo di stampa fino ad ora...però, non mi avevate ancora vista con un abito a stampa conigli, almeno, non fino ad ora !. Ho trovato questo incredibile abitino a stampa conigli Ruby Rocks su Surfdome.com, un adorabile negozio online che vende sia abbigliamento che accessori di oltre 900 brands diversi. In qualità di grande amante dei conigli e, una volta, orgogliosa padroncina di due bellissimi coniglietti che mi mancano ancora tanto, devo dire che mi è piaciuto ancora di più indossare questo capo !.

My shopping experience on Surfdome has been more than positive...I got my dress in such a quick time and the packaging was perfect ! I was so happy I got this dress that I couldn't have found in my town and I also got it for a quite cheap price !. 

This shirt style dress is perfect for a day in the office and for transitional weather, you just add a pair of tights and a cardigan and you're all set !. I decided to wear it for a fun afternoon in town and I styled it with a green shades statement necklace and high heel shoes.

La mia esperienza di shopping su Surfdome è stata più che positiva...ho ricevuto l'abito in così poco tempo e anche il packaging era perfetto ! Sono felice di aver scelto questo abito perché non lo avrei potuto trovare nella mia città e l'ho anche avuto ad un prezzo conveniente !. L'abitino stile camicia è perfetto per una giornata in ufficio e per il periodo di transizione nell'autunno, basta aggiungere un paio di calze ed un cardigan e via ! Io ho deciso di indossarlo per un pomeriggio in centro e l'ho abbinato ad una collana particolare nei toni del verde e a scarpe dal tacco alto.

To make the whole look more stylish, I added a clutch I just bought at Zara. It's from the new collection and I am sure I am gonna use it a lot, it's very comfortable and versatile !. 

I like the mix of "formal" items like the clutch and the heels with a funny print like this one...why always wearing plain dresses when we can play with fashion this way ?.

The statement necklace is an item I found in a little shop and it was love at first sight, a piece like this one can truly add something special to any outfit ! You can see it better in the pic below.

Per rendere l'intero look più sofisticato, ho aggiunto una clutch appena comprata da Zara, è della nuova collezione e sono sicura che la sfrutterò tantissimo, è molto comoda e versatile !.

Mi piace l'accostamento tra articoli più "formali" e seriosi come la clutch e i tacchi e questa stampa così buffa...dopotutto, perché mai dovremmo indossare sempre abiti monotoni quando possiamo giocare con la moda in questo modo ?.

La collana importante è un articolo trovato in un negozietto ed è stato amore a prima vista, un pezzo così può realmente fare la differenza in ogni outfit ! Potete vederla meglio nella foto sotto.

My green Oakley mirror sunglasses gave another touch of green to the whole outfit. I added a red lipstick and red nail polish to have another touch of color. 

What do you think about this rabbit print ? Are you also bunny fans ?. I have to confess one of my first attempts to have a website was, many years ago, a site dedicated to my rabbits. I have never had other pets before or after them and they will always have a special place in my heart. 

I miei occhiali a specchio Oakley hanno dato un ulteriore tocco di verde all'intero outfit. Ho aggiunto un rossetto rosso e smalto in tinta. 

Cosa ne pensate di questa stampa "conigliosa" ? Siete anche voi fan dei conigli ?. Vi devo confessare che uno dei miei primi tentativi di fare un sito web, molti anni fa, è stato un sito dedicato ai miei coniglietti. Non avevo mai avuto altri animali prima né ne ho avuti dopo e loro rimarranno sempre nel mio cuore. 

 

I am happy I found another website I like to have some online shopping and I suggest you a visit. 

I also hope you like my idea of turning a daytime dress like this one into a more elegant one just with the use of accessories. Of course, I am ready to wear this piece again with biker boots and a leather jacket, for a more rock vibe, but this is another story !. 

Also, I dare you to guess how many rabbits are on this dress...to be sincere, everytime I start counting them, even tho it's not a sheep print, I start feeling sleepy, ahahah :)

Spero che la mia idea di rendere un abito da giorno come questo più elegante con l'uso degli accessori vi sia piaciuta. Ovviamente, sono pronta ad indossare questo capo con bikers e un giubbotto in pelle per una versione più rock, ma questa è un'altra storia !.

Inoltre, vi sfido ad indovinare quanti conigli ci sono su questo abito...sinceramente, ogni volta che inizio a contarli, sebbene non siano pecore, inizio a sentirmi assonnata...ahahahah :)
