Eye Contour: three must have products from Dr. Hauschka

Today's beauty post is focused on one of the most delicate areas, that more than any other area reveals our age and is prone to wrinkles: the eye contour. I have been wanting to tell you about my favorite products for a while, and surely Dr. Hauschka deserves a special mention. I told you about this natural brand other times: I am addicted to their Regenerating Serum and I have been using it also before my sunscreen cream this summer, and I have tried three eye contour products from this brand, that are worth a dedicated post. 

1) Dr. Hauschka Eye Contour Balm comes in a tiny ceramic jar and it has a very thick consistency. This product is perfect for very dry or very cold weather, because it will nourish and protect the eye contour like no other: I have a dry eye contour and love it at night, before sleep, so when I wake up my skin is very hydrated and soft and my fine lines are less evident. It is not immediately absorbed when you use it before makeup, and it works better under very dry concealers, and on dry skins in general. The formula contains carrot, jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, beeswax and neem and it is like lip balm for the eyes, something very unique that I had never tried before: I love it, and it didn't irritate my delicate eyes as it has also a soothing and a strenghtening effect on the eye contour.

PROS: very nourishing, hydrating, for winter, for the night, it minimizes lines  CONS: not for very oily skin, not easily absorbed

Il post beauty di oggi si focalizza su una delle aree più delicate, che più delle altre rivela la nostra età ed è facile alle rughe: il contorno occhi. Vi volevo parlare dei miei prodotti preferiti da un po' e sicuramente Dr. Hauschka merita una menzione speciale. Vi ho già parlato altre volte di questo brand naturale: sono ormai dipendente dal loro Siero Rigenerante e lo uso sempre, l'ho applicato anche prima del solare per tutta l'estate, e ho provato anche tre prodotti per il contorno occhi di questo brand meritevoli di un post dedicato. 

1) Il Balsamo Contorno Occhi Dr. Hauschkaè contenuto in una piccola jar di ceramica e ha una consistenza molto ricca. Si tratta di un prodotto perfetto per condizioni meteo molto secche o molto fredde, perché nutre e protegge il contorno occhi come niente altro. Io ho un contorno occhi secco e mi piace applicarlo per la notte, prima di dormire, in modo che al risveglio la mia pelle sia molto idratata e morbida, con segni meno evidenti. Il balsamo non si assorbe immediatamente, quindi se lo usate prima del makeup andrà meglio sotto correttori secchi, e sulle pelli secche in generale. La formula contiene, tra l'altro, olio di jojoba, olio di nocciolo di albicocca, cera d'api e neem ed è come un balsamo labbra per gli occhi, qualcosa di unico che non avevo mai provato prima: non ha irritato i miei occhi delicati ed ha anche un effetto calmante oltre che rinforzante per il contorno occhi.

PRO: molto nutriente, idratante, per l'inverno, per la notte, minimizza le rughe  CONS: non per pelli molto grasse, non facilmente assorbibile

2) If the Eye Contour Balm is better on cold season, Dr. Hauschka Regenerating Eye Contour cream quickly became my favorite product. This cream is meant for mature skin, therefore it has an intense anti wrinkle action and a plumping effect on the eye contour. This luxurious cream can be used day and night and it is hydrating yet it's easily absorbed and it's perfect before makeup. I am a lover of all the Regenerating line (you can also find a box with travel sizes on the e-shop) and I think it's one of the best skincare lines I have ever used. Dr. Hauschka Regenerating Eye Contour cream gives a new vitality to the skin and contains quince seed, birch leef, borrage, acerola berries and other precious natural ingredients. I love it and I couldn't praise it enough ! The doser packaging is also very practical.
PROS: hydrating, anti-wrinkle, easily absorbed  CONS: none

3) The third product for the eye contour I wanna tell you about is Dr. Hauschka Refreshing Lotion for the Eye Contour, especially meant for tired eyes and for people using the computer, contact lenses bearers and eyes prones to redness and irritation. Just one single ampoule is enough, on two half cosmetic pads, placed over closed eyelids for about ten minutes. This lotion is a pampering gesture with an extreme soothing effect, I absolutely love it and I think it's a must have to refresh the eye contour, to avoid redness and puffiness and thanks to eyebright, fennel, chamomile and black tea tone, it truly does what it says. I love the fact you have mono ampoules, so that you know how much product you need and also they are easily carried with you.
PROS: soothing, refreshing, great before makeup, great for pc users and allergic people CONS: it takes ten minutes of your time (but it's for a good cause)

I think these three Dr. Hauschka solutions for the periocular area are awesome: if you need extreme nourishment, especially in extreme weather conditions, the Balm is your ideal choice; if you have a mature skin or you are concerned about wrinkles and want something rich yet delicate, go for the Regenerating Eye Contour Cream. If you need an extra soothing product that you can use at your need, everyday or just once, do not miss the Refreshing Lotion, perfect for people using the computer everyday and to have bright, relieved eyes: makeup artists often use this Lotion on the models' eyes before putting makeup on  ! All of the three products follow Dr. Hauschka natural and organic cosmetics principles and are free of mineral oils, parabens, silicones and PEG. Have you ever tried these products ? Questa crema è per le pelli mature, pertanto ha una intensa azione antirughe e un effetto rimpolpante sul contorno occhi. Si tratta di una crema lussuosa che può essere usata sia di giorno che di notte, idratante e facilmente assorbita, per cui è perfetta prima del makeup. Sono una fan di tutta la linea Rigenerante (trovate anche un coffret completo con le minitaglie sul sito), è una delle migliori gamme di skincare che abbia mai usato. La Crema Rigenerante Contorno Occhi Dr. Hauschka dona nuova vitalità alla pelle e contiene semi di cotogna, foglie di betulla, borragine e altri preziosi ingredienti naturali. La adoro e non potrei parlarne che bene ! Il packaging con dosatore è inoltre molto pratico. 
PROS: idratante, antirughe, facilmente assorbibile CONS: niente

3) Il terzo prodotto per il contorno occhi del quale vi voglio parlare è la Lozione Rinfrescante Contorno Occhi Dr. Hauschka, rivolta a chi ha occhi stanchi e per chi usa molto il computer, per i portatori di lenti a contatto e per gli occhi facili agli arrossamenti e alle irritazioni. Una singola ampolla è sufficiente, imbevendo due mezzi dischetti struccanti e posizionandoli sulle palpebre chiuse per circa dieci minuti. Questa Lozione è una coccola con effetto lenitivo estremo, la adoro, è un vero must have per rinfrescare il contorno occhi, evitare i rossori e il gonfiore e grazie ad estratti di eufrasia, camomilla, finocchio e té nero fa ciò che promette. Mi piace il fatto che sia contenuta in mono ampolle, in modo da avere sempre la giusta quantità, e anche facili da trasportare. 
PROS: lenitive, rinfrescanti, ottime prime del makeup, ottime per utenti pc e soggetti allergici CONS: occorrono dieci minuti del vostro tempo (ma è per una buona causa)

Queste tre soluzioni Dr. Hauschka per la zona perioculare sono favolose: se avete bisogno di nutrimento extra, specialmente in condizioni meteo estreme, il Balsamo è la scelta ideale; se avete la pelle matura o se vi preoccupate delle rughe e volete un prodotto ricco ma delicato, andate sul sicuro con la Crema Rigenerante Contorno Occhi. Se avete bisogno di qualcosa di ultra lenitivo e rinfrescante, che potete usare all'occorrenza, ogni giorno ma anche una tantum, non perdetevi la Lozione Rinfrescante, perfetta per chi usa il computer ogni giorno e per avere uno sguardo luminoso e riposato: i makeup artist spesso usano questa Lozione sulle modelle prima di applicare il makeup ! A floral silk suit composed of a blouse and large pants and my Gucci vintage web boston bag to channel my Gucci vibes !

Gucci vibes are everywhere, and are going to be with us for quite a long time, I think, check out also the Fashion Week Street Style. Alessandro Michele's revolution is visible: retro floral prints, patterns and prints mix, big 70s style glasses, ruffles, pleats and embroidered clothes are here to stay and are displayed also in low cost shops, starting from Zara. As a clothes hoarder, I can honestly enter in my walk in wardrobe and find so many clothes and accessories that, put together, send me those Gucci vibes I am really craving for. Just like I did with this silk suit - large silk pants and a ruffled blouse, that I matched with a waist belt and wore with my Gucci Vintage Web boston bag. I took a pair of large 70s ispired sunglasses, large and squared, and I was ready for the day !

Gucci vibes sono ovunque, e staranno con noi per parecchio tempo, credo, anche dando un'occhiata allo Street Style delle Fashion Week. La rivoluzione di Alessandro Micheleè chiaramente visibile: stampe floreali retrò, mix di tessuti e stampe, occhialoni anni '70, balze, plissé e capi ricamati sono qui per restare e sono presenti anche nei negozi low cost, ad iniziare da Zara. Da accumulatrice seriale di vestiti, posso sinceramente entrare nella mia cabina armadio e trovarci così tanti abiti e accessori che, messi insieme, mi mandano quelle Gucci vibes che in questo momento desidero tanto. Proprio come ho fatto mettendo insieme questo completo in seta - pantaloni larghi e blusa con rouches - che ho abbinato ad una cintura e indossato con il mio bauletto Gucci Vintage Web. Ho scelto un paio di occhiali da sole di ispirazione anni '70, larghi e squadrati, ed ero pronta per uscire !

Silk, with a wool cardigan, can be also perfect for a transitional outfit

This silk floral suit features a real vintage floral print, from Max & Co archives and I fell in love with the colors straight away. My Vintage Web Gucci boston bag is a classic I bought years ago and it's still one of my most loved Gucci bags. I am currently craving one of the new bags such as the striped Dionysos. A silk suit is also perfect as a transitional outfit, I personally love wool and silk and adding a wool cardigan to this outfit would be a good idea for when the air will get fresher. I am really excited for a kind of fashion that mixes prints, colors and fabrics and looks back to the golden years of Studio 54, and you ? Obviously, the thing that excites me the most is to be able to play with this inspiration, not necessarily only with Gucci clothes but putting my personal touch in it, with new clothes but also shopping in my wardrobe. What do you think ?

Questo completo a fiori in seta ha una stampa floreale davvero vintage, da archivi Max & Co degli anni '60, e io mi sono innamorata subito dei suoi colori. Il mio bauletto Gucci Vintage Webè un classico comprato anni fa ed è ancora una delle mie borse Gucci più amate. Attualmente sogno una borsa della nuova collezione, come la Dionysos a righe. Un completo in setaè anche perfetto per un outfit di transizione, personalmente amo molto l'accostamento tra lana e seta e l'aggiunta di un cardigan di lana a questo outfit sarebbe una ottima idea per quanto l'aria si rinfresca. Questo tipo di moda che osa mescolare stampe, colori e tessuti e guarda indietro agli anni d'oro dello Studio 54 mi piace molto, e a voi ? Ovviamente, la cosa che mi entusiasma di più è il poter giocare con questa ispirazione, non necessariamente solo con capi Gucci ma mettendoci il mio tocco personale, sia con capi nuovi che con capi già presenti nel mio guardaroba. Voi che ne pensate ?

A black pencil dress for a total black elegant outfit

A little black pencil dress with a see through effect can be a good choice for an elegant total black outfit. I wore it for a dinner date with hubby, and I kept it simple adding just a couple of statement pieces with golden accents. It was a special day for us, and I know he prefers bodycon dresses on me, because they exalt my curves, therefore I decided to make him happy with a dress I love because, thanks to the leather trim and the lace cuts, it's not your typical black pencil dress and it has a rock allure. What's then better than a pair of stiletto sandals to walk towards the dinner table with your date ? Femine and classy without being too revealing: this is to me an ideal pencil dress.

Un tubino nero con effetto trasparenza può essere una ottima scelta per un look elegante in total black. L'ho indossato per una cena con mio marito, e ho aggiunto solo un paio di accessori particolari con dettagli oro. Era un giorno speciale per noi, e so che preferisce gli abiti aderenti su di me, perché esaltano le mie curve; ho deciso quindi di accontentarlo con un abito che amo perché, grazie agli inserti in pelle e ai tagli del pizzo, non è il solito tubino nero e ha una allure rock. Cosa c'è poi di meglio che un paio di sandali stiletto per camminare verso il tavolo con il tuo accompagnatore ? Femminile e di classe senza rivelare troppo: questo è per me il pencil dress ideale.

I have been wearing more black lately and for a lover of colors - as readers of this fashion blog know - it's a sort of revolution ! Black is often a typical solution for dates, parties and an elegant dress code. I think when we choose black for an outfit, it's good to give a lot of importance to the fabric: I usually prefer textured fabric, or lace or anyway something that is not too plain and simple. After all, you always knew I am not a minimalistfashion blogger, right ? The pencil dress, often expression of a classic elegant but also of a lack of fantasy, is now reinvented and it's more modern and fierce. Do you have at least one in your closet ?

Ultimamente sto indossando più spesso il nero e - come i lettori di questo fashion blog sanno - è una specie di rivoluzione ! Il nero è spesso la tipica soluzione per gli appuntamenti, per le feste e per un dress code elegante. Per me quanto si sceglie il nero per un outfit, va prestata molta importanza al tessuto: io solitamente preferisco la stoffa più corposa, o il pizzo o qualcosa che non sia troppo semplice e liscio. Del resto, avete sempre saputo che non sono una fashion blogger minimalista, no ? Il tubino, spesso associato a una eleganza classica ma anche a mancanza di fantasia, si reinventa così e si scopre più moderno, più audace. Voi ne avete almeno uno nell'armadio ?

A coral midi dress worn in a matchy matchy way for my true first day of a new year !

Hi everybody ! As I told you already, September is the true start of the year to me, and precisely, today is the day ! The first Monday after my birthday means that I can start my usual healthy eating routine and also it's my first day of gym after a long summer break. I feel charged, hopefully this sensation is made to last ! With this outfit I am back to the bold colors I love so much, with this midi coral red dress with lace insert from French Connection. I went matchy matchy with coral necklace and bracelet, lipstick and nails and my slingbacks from italian brand Vittorio Virgili.

Ciao a tutti ! Come vi avevo già detto, settembre è per me il vero inizio di anno nuovo, e precisamente, oggi è il giorno ! Il primo lunedì dopo il mio compleanno significa che posso iniziare la mia routine del mangiare sano e oltretutto oggi sarà il mio primo giorno in palestra dopo il lungo break estivo. Mi sento carica, speriamo questa sensazione duri ! Con questo outfit torno ai colori vivaci che amo tanto, con questo abito rosso corallo dall'inserto in pizzo di French Connection. Ho optato per il coordinato con collana e bracciale corallo, rossetto e smalto e le mie slingback del brand italiano Vittorio Virgili.

Coral red makes me feel more energetic and lifts up my mood

Will I ever get tired of midi dresses ? I doubt it ! They are chic and can be dressed up or down. This one has a flirty lace insert on the skirt and a fitted upper part that leaves the arms naked. It's great for a party and with a jacket - especially a leather biker jacket - is perfect for the first days of Fall. I am in love with this shade of red, so bold, it makes me feel more energetic whenever I wear it and it has a positive effect on my mood ! What color makes you feel like this ? How is your September going ?

Mi stancherò mai degli abiti midi ? Ne dubito ! Sono chic e possono essere più o meno eleganti. Questo ha un simpatico bordo in pizzo sulla gonna ed è aderente sul busto, con le braccia scoperte. E' adatto ad un party e con una giacca - specialmente se un chiodo in pelle  - è perfetto per i primi giorni di autunno. Sono innamorata di questa tonalità di rosso così vivace, mi fa sentire più energetica ogni volta che lo indosso e ha un effetto positivo sul mio umore ! Quale colore vi fa sentire così ? With the end of summer, it's time to give a look at hair color trends for Fall/Winter 2016/2017

With summer saying goodbye, the need to fix our hair comes back strongly, often damanged and extremely bleached by the sun. The end of September is the right moment to adjust our cut, if you want to trim your split ends either you demand a radical change, and often it's also the right time to change our hair color. Of course, when it comes to hair color it takes to choose among the colors that better suit our complexion, yet it's time to give a look at hair color trends for Fall/Winter 2016-2017. 

Con la fine dell'estate è tempo di dare uno sguardo ai trend dei colori capelli per l'Autunno/Inverno 2016/2017

Con la fine dell'estate ritorna il bisogno di dare una sistemata alle nostre chiome, spesso sfibrate e schiarite eccessivamente dal sole. La fine di settembre è proprio il momento giusto per dare una sistemata al taglio, sia che vogliate eliminare le doppie punte sia che vogliate cambiare  radicalmente, e spesso anche il periodo in cui siamo più propense a cambiare colore ai capelli. Fermo restando il fatto che in fatto di tinta capelli occorre scegliere tra quelle che meglio si accordano con la nostra carnagione, è il momento di dare uno sguardo ai colori capelli di tendenza per l'Autunno/Inverno  2016-2017.

Bronde, a mixture of blonde and brown, it's still a huge trend, as well as honey and caramel highlights, that can give a nice light to dull hair and can look good on different skin tones. A sophisticated ombre color, ecaille, doesn't only lighten the locks, it also darkens others for a very pleasant and natural blended effect, without a separation between colors like in ombre: personally, I find it very beautiful and wearable both by brunettes and blondes, and it can also be useful to fine hair because it has a texturizing effect that grants more volume.

Il bronde, ovvero un incrocio tra il biondo e il castano, continua a essere di tendenza, così come le schiariture color miele/caramello, capaci di donare luce a una chioma spenta e di adattarsi a diverse carnagioni. Un sofisticato ombré, l'ecaille, non riguarda più solo la schiaritura delle ciocche, ma ne scurisce altre per un effetto sfumato molto gradevole e naturale, senza una netta separazione tra colori come nell'ombré: personalmente, lo trovo molto bello e portabile sia dalle più more che dalle bionde, inoltre sulle chiome composte da capelli fini ha un effetto texturizzante e quindi dona maggiore volume.

Blonde is always a trendy color, especially strawberry blonde and platinum blonde; I have noticed platinum highlights are huge, and can give new life to blonde hair when they go too yellow after summer.
Two strong colors were also seen on the catwalk: extreme black, absolute, and red, always a charming color that leads to Fall hues, especially in bold copper. I love it and I have been dying my hair an intense copper color for years, always with professional products, and I have always found L'Oreal hair colors as a best choice. Whatever is your color of choice, it's important to prepare your hair before and to use the right products in order to keep them healthy and shiny. When you have to decide your hair color, you should also consider how you want to style your hair. We'll be talking about the trends soon but I can tell you from now some of the trends I prefer: soft waves and extra voluminous hair, as well as a side part. Platino, nero estremo e rosso sono stati avvistati sulle passerelle

Il biondoè sempre un colore di tendenza, anche nella variante strawberry blonde, un biondo fragola, e in quella platino. Ho notato che i riflessi platino sono molto in voga, e possono dare nuova vita a capelli biondi diventati troppo gialli dopo l'estate.
Sono stati notati sulle passerelle anche due colori strong: ritorna anche il nero corvino, assoluto, mentre il rosso è sempre un colore di grande fascino e che rimanda ai colori autunnali, specialmente nella variante rame acceso. Io lo amo e ho portato un colore intenso ramato per anni, sempre affidandomi a prodotti professionali, mi sono trovata sempre più che bene con la tinta capelli L'Oreal. Qualunque colore scegliate, è fondamentale preparare i capelli sia prima del colore che dopo, usando i prodotti giusti per mantenerli splendenti e in salute. Quando decidete un nuovo colore di capelli, dovreste anche considerare lo stile con il quale li acconcerete. Parleremo anche di questi trend presto ma vi posso anticipare da ora quelli che preferisco: le onde morbide e i capelli con extra volume, insieme alla riga laterale. Voi avete intenzione di cambiare colore di capelli per questa stagione ? Sono curiosa di saperlo !

The patch obsession keeps going strong: here's my take on how to wear patched jeans

Patched jeans have been quite an obsession of mine, for quite a long time. I couldn't help buying also another pair, especially when I saw it had sequin patches, including a whatsapp smiley emoji, the one I use the most, with the hysterical laugh !. This pair of jeans was cool enough to build an easy casual outfit around it, with a printed blouse and my beloved Adidas Superstar sneakers.

I jeans con le toppe sono una ossessione che ho ormai da parecchio tempo. Non ho potuto fare a meno di comprarne un altro paio, specialmente quando ho visto che aveva toppe con paillettes, incluso uno smiley emoji di Whatsapp, quello da me più usato, con la ristata isterica ! Questo paio di jeans era abbastanza cool da poterci costruire un facile outfit casual intorno, con una blusa stampata e le mie adorate sneakers Adidas Superstar.

Patched clothes are going to follow us also this Fall and Winter, and it's also a good chance to start doing some DIY work...I am not usually a DIY fanatic because I lack of patience, but it's easy to customize something - either clothes or accessories - with fun patches, to have something that is one of a kind ! I am currently working on a denim jacket that you will see soon ! After all, if Gucci's Alessandro Michele put sequin patches over Dionysus it-bag and on part of its collection, the patches mania must be huge ! How do you feel about patched clothes ?

Questa blusa stampata del brand spagnolo Minueto sta bene sia su questi jeans strappati con toppe ma  andrebbe bene anche con un outfit meno casual. L'abbigliamento con toppe ci seguirà anche questo autunno inverno, ed è una ottima occasione per iniziare a fare qualche lavoretto DIY...non sono solitamente una fan dei lavori fai da te perché non ho pazienza, ma è facile personalizzare qualcosa - che siano abito o accessori - con toppe divertenti, per avere un qualcosa di unico ! Io al momento sto lavorando su una giacca di jeans che vi mostrerò presto ! Dopotutto, se Alessandro Michele da Gucci ha messo le toppe con paillettes sulla it-bag Dyonisus oltre che su parte della collezione, la patch mania deve essere forte ! Voi che ne pensate dell'abbigliamento con toppe ?

The easiest DIY job is to customize a denim jacket with patches

Some of my patches are a bit cheeky ! I just wanted to create something different, and I am especially in love with the way the back of this once dull denim jacket came out. This is the easiest DIY job you can do, I just had to do some ironing and stitching since some patches didn't have any glue on the back. I composed my name on the back and added a Disco Lady patch. The dominant color is pink, just like the nice bubblegum milkshake shade of my Save My Bag BABY backpack. This little gem can be worn in different ways, and it's totally stylish. You can find a wide range of colors and even different fabrics on Save My Bag official website. We can manage to look original even with an everyday look, especialy going custom ! Alcune delle mie toppe sono un po'scostumate ! Volevo solo creare qualcosa di diverso, e mi piace particolarmente il retro di questa giacca, non più anonima. Si tratta del lavoro fai da te più facile che possiate fare, è bastato stirare e cucire in quanto non tutte le toppe presentavano la colla sul retro. Ho composto il mio nome sulla schiena e ho aggiunto una grande toppa con la scritta Disco Lady. Il colore dominante è il rosa, come questa bella tonalità bubblegum milkshake dello zainetto BABY Savemybag. Questo gioiellino si può indossare in modi diversi, ed è davvero stiloso. How to dress Gucci style on a budget ? I built my Gucci inspired look with affordable clothing and added a few statement accessories

How to dress Gucci style without spending too much ? It seems Alessandro Michele's influence over fashion this year is super huge, and Gucci style is all the rage. We can see it from magazines and also from the shops, from luxury to low cost chains. In this post I had fun dressing up Gucci style without breaking the bank, with a butterfly print satin shirt with a bow, embroidered black denim pants and with a Gucci lookalike cardigan found on Dezzal. I completed my Gucci style outfit with touches of gold - golden Mary Janes from italian brand Giovanni Fabiani, one of the gems of Marche shoes district.

Come vestire stile Gucci risparmiando ? Ho costruito il mio look Gucci inspired con abbigliamento accessibile e aggiunto un paio di accessori importanti 

Come vestire stile Gucci senza spendere troppo ? Sembra proprio che l'influenza di Alessandro Michele sulla  moda di quest'anno sia fortissima, e lo stile Gucci sia ovunque. Possiamo vederlo dalle riviste e anche dai negozi, sia di lusso che low cost. In questo post mi sono divertita a vestirmi stile Gucci senza spendere un capitale, con una camicia in satin a stampa farfalle con fiocco, pantaloni in denim ricamati e con un cardigan molto somigliante a quello di Gucci scovato su Dezzal. Ho completato il mio outfit stile Gucci con tocchi oro - Mary Jane dorate del brand italiano Giovanni Fabiani, una delle gemme del distretto calzaturiero delle Marche.

Gucci inspired clothes are everywhere: embroideries, butterflies and flowers

Mary Jane shoes with square and chucky heel are a trend this year; I chose them in gold, from Giovanni Fabiani. The loose ribbed cardigan from Dezzal is made of a blend of cotton and wool and can be worn as an outerwear piece. It features a set of embroidered patches in shape of butterflies, birds, flowers and a tiger. This piece of clothing really very similar to the style proposed from Gucci for this season. Usually I prefer to buy clothes that are only a bit inspired to those seen on the catwalk, but this time I gave up to the beauty of this cardigan that is even more beautiful live compared to the pics (you can find it here). I had already experienced the service from Dezzal e-shop and it was once again very good ! Everywhere it's a feast of embroideries, patches, butterflies and flowers that personally brings a lot of joy to my days. Did you give up to Gucci inspired style ?

L'abbigliamento ispirato a Gucci è ovunque: ricami, farfalle e fiori

Le scarpe Mary Jane dalla punta squadrata e tacco spesso sono un trend di quest'anno; io le ho scelte color oro, di Giovanni Fabiani. Il cardigan ampio di Dezzal a costine è in cotone e lana e può essere indossato come giacca. Presenta una serie di toppe ricamate con forma di farfalle, uccelli, fiori e tigre. Si tratta di un capo molto simile a quello proposto da Gucci per questa stagione. Solitamente preferisco i capi solo leggermente ispirati a quelli delle passerelle, ma stavolta ho ceduto alla bellezza di questo cardigan che, dal vivo, è ancora più bello di come visto in foto (lo trovate qui). Avevo già sperimentato il servizio dell'e-shop Dezzaled è stato ancora una volta ottimo ! Ovunque è un tripudio di ricami, patches, farfalle e fiori che personalmente mi mette allegria. Gucci Dionysus mini bag and Chanel granny shoes dupe for my casual chic outfit 

For my first October outfit, let me introduce you to my new little gem, a Gucci Dionysus mini bag that was my birthday gift, as some of you must have seen on my Instagram profile. I built this look according to a few trends: embroidered jeans, ruffled top and, most of all, granny slingback shoes ! Yes, those Chanel inspired mid heel two toned pumps that became a huge trend this year and that a fashionista like me couldn't help trying out. This is my way to wear my cap toe granny slingbacks: I would never wear them with a tailleur or serious pants, they need jeans that make them "younger". It's a risky business, but someone has to do it and I confess I love to play with trends too much to avoid risking !

Per il mio primo outfit di ottobre, lasciate che vi presenti il mio nuovo gioiellino, una borsa mini Gucci Dionysus che è stata il mio regalo di compleanno, come alcuni di voi avranno notato sul mio profilo Instagram. Ho costruito questo look seguendo alcuni trend: jeans ricamati, top con balza e, soprattutto, le scarpe granny slingbacks ! Proprio così, quelle scarpe dal mezzo tacco bicoloriispirate alle Chanel che sono diventate molto di moda quest'anno e che una fashionista come me non poteva evitare di provare. Questo è il mio modo di portare le granny slingbacks bicolori: non le abbinerei mai a un tailleur o a pantaloni austeri, hanno bisogno di jeans che le rendano più "giovani". E' un affare rischioso, ma qualcuno dovrà pur farlo e io confesso di amare troppo giocare con le tendenze per non rischiare !

My Chanel inspired slingbacks are comfy and affordable

My Gucci Dionysus bag is my latest obsession: it's a small bag but it's also very versatile, looking great both with casual and with elegant outfits. It is one of the iconic bags from the new Gucci era and I love the way it can be a shoulder or a crossbody bag, moreover the black suede profile is just timeless. This casual chic look features a powder pink ruffled top in a tulle-like fabric and embroidered mom jeans from Glamorous. I added a chocker necklace for a romantic touch and my Chanel inspired slingbacks, or simply Chanel shoes dupe, in soft leather. Anyway, this look would look great with flats, high heel pumps. Converse shoes, basically with many kind of shoes. Like a chef, I love mixing trendy ingredients together to obtain today's dish, and I had fun wearing these very comfy shoes, even tho I know nothing beats the glam of a pair of stiletto heels. Would you dare trying a pair of granny shoes ? If you want, my advice is to opt for a pair of affordable granny pumps, like I did, and to save your money for a Chanel bag, instead ;-) 

Le mie slingback ispirate alle Chanel sono comode e accessibili

La mia borsa Gucci Dionysusè la mia ultima ossessione: è piccola ma molto versatile, ottima sia con outfit casual che eleganti. E' una delle borse iconiche della nuova era Gucci e adoro il fatto che possa essere sia portata a spalla che a tracolla, inoltre la scelta dei profili in suede nero la rende un classico. Questo look casual chic mi vede con un top rosa cipria in stoffa simil-tulle e mom jeans ricamati di Glamorous. Ho aggiunto una collana chocker per un tocco romantico e le mie slingback ispirate a Chanel, o direi proprio Chanel dupe, in morbida pelle. Comunque, questo look starebbe bene anche con ballerine, decolleté a tacco alto, scarpe Converse e altri modelli. Come uno chef mi piace mettere insieme ingredienti trendy per ottenere il piatto del giorno, e mi sono divertita a provare queste scarpe comodissime, sebbene conosca il fascino innegabile di un bel paio di tacchi a spillo. Osereste provare un paio di granny shoes ? Se volete, vi consiglio di optare per un paio di scarpe da nonnina che siano accessibili, come ho fatto io, e di investire i vostri soldi per una borsa Chanel ;-)

Un post sentimentale che parla dell'amicizia tra blogger e il loro primo incontro "live"

This post is about a weekend in Rome and my meeting with two blogger friends, Angela Pavese from www.imperfecti.com and Iolanda Corio from www.theshadeoffashion.com. We have succeeded to meet up after years of online friendship and months of chats and phone calls, last weekend. What happens when a group of fashion lovers, stylish ladies meet up ? See a few pics of our meetup ! 

Metti un weekend a Roma, metti tre amiche blogger (io, Angela Pavese di www.imperfecti.com e Iolanda Corio di www.theshadeoffashion.com) che si incontrano dopo anni di conoscenza solo virtuale e mesi di chat e telefonate giornaliere, con l'occasione di un evento. Accadeva lo scorso weekend ! Eh già, di cosa parlano le blogger ? Non ci siamo riunite per una collaborazione o altro di specifico, ma solo per stare insieme e goderci la reciproca compagnia. Tre donne che lavorano, che amano la moda e che vivono distanti l'una dall'altra. Nel nostro caso, ci sono state tantissime risate, del buon cibo e un giro di shopping matto per una Roma bellissima ma piovosa e umida, e sapete che vi dico ? Non vedo l'ora di rifarlo. Perché di amiche donne non se ne hanno mai abbastanza, di amiche vere con le quali ridere, capirsi con uno sguardo, parlare dei ricordi e scambiarsi opinioni sulle cose importanti e sulle cose frivole della vita. Senza competizioni o sentimenti negativi. Sono stata contentissima di vederle e di leggere, nei loro sguardi, lo stesso affetto che provo io, e dal primo abbraccio ricevuto fino all'ultimo vi confesso che mi ha fatto molto bene all'anima. Quando l'amicizia si nutre di interessi comuni e di cose belle, sane, positive, scatta la magia ! Ecco qualche foto del nostro weekend romano.

Staying in the same hotel with your friends is already such a fun thing to do. How Angela texted me that night "the thought you are so close to me is already exciting !". Let's say I would have brought them both at home with me, but I had to let them go until the next meeting. Perhaps because I care about this exchange of affection in blogging more than about anything else, I have never felt as good as I do lately. The only bad side of this meetup is that now I miss my friends too much, Iolanda's sweetness and sarcasm and the energetic good heart of Angela are such a nice add to my days ! I have to thank my dear hubby that came with me and took most of the pics you see, besides waiting patiently outside the shops until we raided them (Angela and I also bought the same silver boots)...already one Valentina was enough, but three bright and full of life ladies like us...would knock anyone down ! You're a hero :-) I love you, friends, thank you for this weekend and hope we can have some other soon ! Cause in the end girls just want to have fun and friendship is one of the greatest things in the world !

Alloggiare nello stesso hotel delle tue amiche è già una cosa troppo divertente. Come mi ha scritto Angela la notte, "sapervi nel mio stesso raggio d'azione è già emozionante !". Diciamo che le avrei portate entrambe a casa con me, ma le ho dovute lasciare andare fino al prossimo incontro. Forse perché del blogging mi importa più questo scambio di affetto vero che di altro, ma non mi sono mai sentita così realizzata come in questo periodo. Unico effetto spiacevole di questo meetup: mi mancano già troppo le mie amiche, la dolcezza mista a sarcasmo di Iolanda e la vulcanica bontà di Angela sono un valore aggiunto alle mie giornate ! Un grazie va sicuramente al mio caro maritino che mi ha accompagnata e che ha scattato la maggior parte delle foto che vedete, oltre ad attendere pazientemente fuori dai negozi mentre li svaligiavamo (tra l'altro, Angela e io abbiamo preso gli stessi stivali silver)...già una sola Valentina bastava, ma tre donne vivaci e piene di vita...stenderebbero chiunque ! Sei un eroe :-) Vi voglio bene amiche, grazie per questo weekend e spero ce ne siano presto altri ! How to wear a tulle multi layered petticoat under a mini dress, featuring a crane print Dezzal dress

Dresses with bird print, do I have an obsession ? Maybe, because I already have quite a few flamingo print clothes...but this adorable Dezzal flare mini dress features a crane print, so I thought I couldn't miss this ! Seriously, this dress was too lovely to let it go, even tho I had seen on the website that it was pretty flare and very short. I decided I'd get it anyway, it was too cute and I wasn't disappointed at all, moreover I had already planned to wear it with a blue tulle petticoat peeking underneath, for a rich and longer style. How to turn a mini dress into a midi dress easily ! I got this very girly outfit suitable for a party, that I dressed up with golden pumps from Giovanni Fabiani and a blue velvet minaudieère clutch.

Abiti con stampa uccelli, ne sono ossessionata ? Forse, perché ho già diversi capi di abbigliamento a stampa fenicotteri...ma questo adorabilemini abito svasato Dezzal ha una stampa gru, per cui ho pensato non potesse mancare nel mio guardaroba ! Seriamente, questo abito era troppo carino per lasciarmelo sfuggire, sebbene avessi notato sul sito il fatto che fosse svasato e molto corto. Ho deciso di prenderlo comunque, era troppo simpatico e non ne sono stata affatto delusa, inoltre avevo già deciso di indossarlo con una sottoveste che spuntasse in tulle blu, per un risultato più ricco e aggiungere lunghezza. Come far diventare midi un abito mini facilmente ! Ho ottenuto così un outfit molto girly adatto ad un party che ho reso più elegante con pumps oro Giovanni Fabiani e una piccola clutch minaudière in velluto.

A fairytale mini dress with a defined waistline and a jacquard crane print is not really ordinary, anyway it can also dressed down without a petticoat and wearing it with opaque tights and sneakers or flat boots. This time I decided to style it in a dollish way with touches of gold, that will be one of this Fall trends anyway. On Dezzal I keep finding so many affordable and beautiful clothes, and the shipping is really fast. This idea of wearing a tulle petticoat can be good if you have a flare dress you want to "fill" and also if you need to add some length to your clothes, have you ever tried it ?

An embroidered faux leather biker jacket can add a rock touch to a girly peach pink dress. Geometric print dresses have that 70s retro vibe that makes them irresistible to me, and the bodycon yet comfortable cut makes them perfect even for office life. This lovely print dress is from french brand 1.2.3 Paris, that I already had the chance to appreciate last summer, and that keeps fascinating me with its chic clothes, suitable for a modern and trendy woman. I got immediately hooked on the retro print and decided to match my 1.2.3 Paris dress with suede chestnut ankle boots and my brand new Balenciaga City bag in cognac. What about my outerwear piece ? Elegant party jumpsuits: a few outfit ideas for a fabulous look

Elegant jumpsuits, what do you think ? It's been a few years now and jumpsuits keep rocking. Chic and simple, yet attention grabbing, jumpsuits for winter can be a great outfit idea for an evening party, even for Christmas time. I have prepared a small selection of my favorite jumpsuits, in different fabrics. You can go all Studio 54 look with the first Phase Eight jumpsuit on the left, with a bronze top and wide pants, or a simple crepe jumpsuit from the same brand, with a belted waistline. The third jumpsuit has a precious lace insert and is from Elie Saab, instead the fourth jumpsuit on the right, from Fendi, is the trendiest of all, in velvet, with a pyijamas feel. The first two jumpsuits are very affordable, anyway they all have something in common: they don't need many accessories to build a fabulous look. I love them worn with stiletto pumps, do dare flats only if you are really tall. I would choose a simple pair of pumps or sandals that don't stand up too much if the look is really elegant, otherwise a pop color that recalls other details. The ideal bag is a clutch or, anyway, something small.

Chic e semplici ma appariscenti, le jumpsuit per l'inverno possono essere una ottima idea outfit per una festa serale, anche per il periodo natalizio. Ho preparato una piccola selezione delle mie tute preferite, in diversi tessuti. Potete scegliere un look Studio 54 con la prima da sinistra, di Phase Eight, con un top color bronzo e pantaloni larghi, o optare per una linea più semplice, dello stesso brand, in crepe, con cintura in vita. La terza tuta ha un inserto in prezioso pizzo ed è Elie Saab, mentre la quarta, sulla destra, di Fendi, è la più trendy di tutte, in velluto stile pigiama. Le prima due tute sono molto accessibili come prezzo, comunque tutte hanno una cosa in comune: non necessitano di tanti accessori per creare un look favoloso. Le adoro indossate con décolleté dal tacco a spillo, osate scarpe flat solo se siete davvero alte. Io sceglierei un paio di pumps o sandali che non spicchino troppo se il look è molto elegante, oppure un colore pop che rimandi a dei dettagli. La borsa ideale con una tuta è una clutch e, comuque, una borsa piccola.

Sono una fan delle tute nere, ed essendo abbastanza esile ho scoperto che il modo migliore di indossare una jumpsuit per me sia con i tacchi e scegliendone una che abbia il punto vita definito, pantaloni non troppo ampi e puntando sullo scollo. Ho una tuta off the shoulder - vista in un post precedente - della quale molte di voi mi hanno chiesto, e la adoro ! Potete scegliere una tuta con uno scollo bardot che lasci le spalle scoperte, una con monospalla o decidere di optare per una tuta a maniche lunghe dallo scollo a v, dipende dal vostro tipo di fisico. Potete amarla o odiarla, ma una tuta elegante è ormai un'ottima alternativa ai maxi abiti da sera. Voi ne possedete almeno una ?

Brown suede over the knee boots and black shift dress: back to the 70s !

Brown block heel suede over the knee boots and a short black shift dress with eyelets neckline for a jump back to 70s. You can't miss this year's big trend: brown suede boots are a real must have, especially with a block and comfy heel. Mine are from italian brand Le Silla, made in Marche, and feature a metallic trim, and are perfect under a simple yet eye catching dress like Dina dress from french brand 1.2.3 Paris ! A 70s mood that I have been digging this Fall, and that I magnified by adding a large brim hat and a small shoulder bag.

Stivali marroni dal tacco largo oltre il ginocchio e un abito corto nero svasato con scollatura ad occhielli per un salto indietro negli anni 70. Non potete perdervi il grande trend di quest'anno: gli stivali in camoscio marrone sono un vero must have, specialmente se con tacco largo e comodo. I miei sono del brand italiano Le Silla, made in Marche, e hanno una bordatura in pelle metallica, perfetti sotto un abito semplice ma particolare come il Dina del brand francese 1.2.3 Paris ! Un mood anni '70 che sto amando questo autunno, e che ho evidenziato aggiungendo un cappello a tesa larga e una piccola borsa a tracolla.

There are really infinite possibilities to match this black Dina dress. The softness of crêpe fabric makes it suitable for Fall and Winter and you can play with accessories to dress it up or down. I personally love to match tan/brown accessories with black.
