A patchwork olive green sweater with a miniskirt and a floppy hat for my urban boho look

A patchwork sweater for an urban boho look, perfect in a gloomy winter day, is my look for today's post. A 70s inspiration for this outfit composed of this army green patchwork sweater found on & Other Stories, one of my favorite places to shop online, a miniskirt and green floppy hat. A lover of the combo miniskirt and boots, I went for my Lorenzo Mari boots you saw already, the most comfortable pair of boots I own, shaped as biker boots. A long necklace is the right touch in a Seventies boho style look, as well as big colorful sunglasses. The usage of patchwork is one of the features of hippy style.

Un maglione patchwork per un look urban boho, perfetto in un uggioso giorno invernale, è il mio look per il post di oggi. Ispirazione anni '70 per questo outfit composto da maglione verde militare a lavorazione patchwork, trovato su & Other Stories, uno dei miei siti preferiti per lo shopping online, una minigonna e un cappello a tesa floscia. Da amante dell'abbinamento minigonna e stivali, ho optato per quelli Lorenzo Mari che vi avevo già mostrato, il paio di stivali più comodo che ho, una sorta di biker boots più alti. Una lunga collana è il tocco giusto in un look stile boho Anni Settanta, così come grandi occhiali colorati. L'uso del patchwork è una delle caratteristiche dell'hippy style.

With Christmas holidays definitely over, my mood is a patchwork of mixed feelings

After a few days of cold, I have finally been feeling better, I am just a bit sad that Christmas holidays are definitely over, and I will be spending part of today taking out every trace of Christmas from my house. I will say goodbye to my Christmas tree, and to all the lights, and face reality: the holidays are over, the overeating is over, any excuse to eat chocolate at any time is over, and the worst period of the year has just started: from Carnival, starting soon - that I can't really stand, I have to face at least two months of cold weather and shops full of winter clothes that are less appealing to me than the ones I have in my closet. I thank God for tv series, and for my everyday routine, work, gym, and I will be looking forward to Spring. My mood itself is a patchwork of mixed feelings - I am relieved to go back to usual life, and sad that I have to go back to it, luckily fashion is a game that lifts my spirit, and today we play Seventies with this green hippy inspired outfit. Do you have anything patchwork, at least a blanket ?.

Con le vacanze natalizie definitivamente finite, il mio umore è un patchwork di sentimenti diversi

Dopo  qualche giorno di raffreddore, mi sento finalmente meglio, sono solo un po' triste che le vacanze natalizie siano definitivamente terminate, e trascorrerò parte della giornata odierna a togliere ogni traccia del Natale da casa. Dirò arrivederci al mio albero di Natale, e alle lucine, e affronterò la realtà: le vacanze sono finite, la superalimentazione è finita, ogni scusa per mangiare cioccolata ad ogni ora è finita, e il periodo peggiore dell'anno è appena iniziato: dal Carnevale, previsto tra poco, che proprio non sopporto, dovrò affrontare almeno due mesi di freddo e di negozi pieni di abiti invernali che mi attirano molto meno di quelli che ho già nel mio armadio. Grazie a Dio per le serie tv, e per la mia routine di ogni giorno, il lavoro, la palestra, per il resto attenderò con ansia la Primavera. Il mio stato d'animo stesso è un patchwork di sentimenti diversi - sono sollevata di tornare alla solita vita, e al tempo stesso mi sento triste perché devo tornarci, meno male che la moda è un gioco, e oggi giochiamo agli anni '70 con questo outfit in verde di ispirazione hippy. Avete qualcosa di patchwork, magari una coperta ?.

My vintage style outfit with Made in Italy fashion clothing

A vintage style outfit, playing with colors I love, featuring some beautiful Made in Italy fashion items: a wool striped long dress from Rosè a Pois, in this beautiful raspberry and blueberry color, that is already a statement piece. I decided to add some dark green with a faux fur stole and my Prada boston bag. To emphasize the vintage feel, I chose these handmade leather ankle boots with pink profiles, made in Marche region from an artisan. When beauty meets quality, I couldn't be happier, and there are many italian brands that really deserve to be under a spotlight and that I am happy to show you on my fashion blog, just because I like them.

Un outfit stile vintage, giocando con dei colori che amo, composto da bellissimi capi moda Made in Italy: un abito lungo in lana a righe di Rosè a Pois, in un vivace duo color lampone e mirtillo, che è già un capo particolare. Ho deciso di abbinarvi il verde scuro con una stola in faux fur e la mia borsa bauletto Prada. Per enfatizzare il lato vintage, ho scelto questi ankle boots handmade in cuoio con profili rosa, realizzati artigianalmente nelle Marche. Quando la bellezza incontra la qualità non posso che esserne più felice e ci sono tanti brand italiani che meritano di essere sotto un riflettore e che sono lieta di mostrarvi sul mio fashion blog, solo perché mi piacciono.

The mix of diagonal and vertical stripes in this high waisted wool dress from Rosè a Pois Fall-Winter collection makes it really special and feminine. Being really tight on the hips and the back, this is not the easiest dress to wear after all the holidays eating, but I managed to keep up in a good shape in spite of all the carbs I ate. I managed to find a balance in my everyday eating that leads me to eating without gaining too much weight, and to stay healthy, maybe if you are interested I will share it here on the blog, it is something I have never blogged about. I added a green peplum cardigan to my look for some extra warmth and a touch of panache with Millelire watch, looking at the past as well as being another Made in Italy piece ! See you next time :-)

Essendo particolarmente aderente sui fianchi e sul retro, questo non è l'abito più facile da indossare specialmente dopo tutte le mangiate delle feste, ma io ho accettato la sfida e, comunque, ho sperimentato il mio modo di restare in forma nonostante le mangiate, restando in salute e senza diete proibitive. Se siete interessate, magari un giorno ve ne parlerò, è un argomento che non ho ancora affrontato sul blog. Per calore extra, ho aggiunto al mio look anche un cardigan peplum verde e un tocco di ricercatezza con l'orologio Millelire, che guarda al passato oltre a essere un altro pezzo Made in Italy !. I need prescription eyeglasses and love the cat eye shape: eyeglasses can also be a glamorous fashion accessory !

Do you need eyeglasses ? Surely you do, either if you are short-sighted or long-sighted, or if you have astigmatism. I have myopia, I am short sighted, not heavily, and also slightly astigmatic to one eye. On my fashion blog I love to promote the use of eyeglasses, there is absolutely no reason to be ashamed of wearing eyeglasses, that can also be a fashionable accessory, the most important thing is to find the right design and style for your face shape. I am personally a fan of retro style eyeglasses, especially the cat-eye ones. Since I tried this shape on me, I kept buying both sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses with this flirty, glamorous design, and I love wearing them !. Luckily, this style, comming directly from the Fifities and seen on Hollywood actresses like Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and others, is living a golden moment. You can take a look at Tom Ford or DSquared2 recent campaigns, or the look of singers like Katy Perry. Now it’s easy to find these vintage shapes: I didn’t resist and bought a few ones, to change my frames according to my look !. I have blondish red hair, and I personally love black frames on blondes. I have a couple of frames encrusted with swarovski crystals, really glamorous for the evening.

Avete bisogno degli occhiali da vista ? Sicuramente sì, se siete o miopi o presbiopi, o se siete astigmatici. Io ho la miopia, ovvero non vedo bene da lontano, non fortemente, e sono anche astigmatica da un solo occhio. Sul mio fashion blog mi piace promuovere l’uso degli occhiali, non c’è assolutamente alcuna ragione di vergognarsi nel portare gli occhiali da vista, che possono essere anche degli accessori fashion, basta trovare il giusto design e stile che meglio si adatta alla forma del proprio viso. Io sono una grande fan dello stile retro per gli occhiali, specialmente la forma cat-eye. Da quando ho provato questa forma su di me, ho continuato ad acquistare sia occhiali da vista che da sole con questo design flirty e glam, e adoro portarli !. Fortunatamente, questo stile, che risale agli anni ’50 ed è stato visto su attrici di Hollywood come Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly e altre, sta vivendo un momento d’oro. Basti guardare le recenti campagne pubblicitarie di Tom Ford o DSquared2, e il look di cantanti come Katy Perry. Essendo le montature vintage di facile reperibilità, io non ho resistito a comprarne diverse, per poter cambiare a seconda del look. Ho i capelli sul biondo ramato, e adoro il colore nero per le montature delle bionde. Ho anche un paio di montature con gli swarovski, davvero glamour per la sera.

My review of Labo Anti-wrinkle cream and Anti-wrinkle eye contour cream

The specific active ingredients, as well as the 8 hyaluronyc acids with different molecular weights of Fillerina patent, contained in this Labo Anti-Wrinkle cream are: sh-Polypeptide-1 that has anti-wrinkle action and stimulates skin cells proliferation; Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 stimulates the formation of collagene and laminine; Hydrolyzed RNA and DNA have a cellular repairing action and Magnesium Gluconate fights expression lines. The cream is supposed be applied morning and/or evening. I have been applying it both morning and evening and it leaves my dry skin soft and moisturized. It is a bit early to let you know about the effects on my wrinkles and signs of expression, I feel my oval is fuller and I love it so far. The scent is delicated and really good, and the cream is rich and pleasant to apply. I have a dry skin and it didn't cause any break-out. You might want to apply it only in the evening if have oily skin.

Questa crema va applicata la mattina e/o la sera. Io la sto applicando sia la mattina che la sera e lascia la mia pelle morbida e idratata. Sebbene sia ancora presto per valutarne gli effetti sulle rughe e sui segni di espressione, sento già l'ovale più pieno e mi piace. La profumazione delicata è molto buona, la crema è ricca e piacevole, per me che ho la pelle tendenzialmente secca non ha causato alcun brufoletto. Forse, per le pelli grasse, sarebbe meglio applicarla esclusivamente la sera.

Labo Suisse crema contorno occhi anti-rughe ha la stessa tecnologia transdermica della crema antirughe e gli stessi ingredienti che combattono le rughe profonde, con l'aggiunta del Darutoside, molecola specifica per le zampe di gallina del contorno occhi - uno dei più odiati effetti dell'invecchiamento da noi donne !. Presentata sempre in una confezione lussuosa in bianco e oro, potete trovare, insieme alla crema, un applicatore di precisione che sembra una siringa ma è solo uno strumento utile a prelevare la giusta quantità di crema - 0,5 ml - da applicare sia a destra che a sinistra sulle rughe del contorno occhi. Il prodotto va lasciato agire per 5 minuti e dopo va massaggiato dolcemente fino a completo assorbimento. Sento che si tratta di un prodotto straordinario che io sto adoperando solo la sera, quando ho più tempo. Il mio contorno occhi delicato e secco ha già dei miglioramenti solo con un paio di settimane di uso di questo antirughe. My casual outfit with faux fur vest, Adidas Superstar sneakers and a cat ear beanie

Fighting Blue Monday with a casual outfit featuring a faux fur sleeveless jacket in yellow, white and blue and my white Adidas Superstar sneakers. This is supposed to be the most depressing time of the year, and honestly I think this is right in my case: the weather is really bad and I am going under some little annoying problems, therefore I really need a comfortable and fun look. What's more uplifting than a beanie with ears ? My cat eat beanie is grey and is a present from a dear friend. My husband - enemy of all furry jackets in general - will have to give up and bear with me one more time in a soft and colorful version...otherwise, I might scratch him ! Meowww !

Combattere il Blue Monday con un outfit casual composto da un pellicciotto smanicato in giallo, bianco e blu e le mie sneakers Adidas Superstar in bianco. Questo dovrebbe essere il periodo più deprimente dell'anno, e onestamente credo sia vero nel mio caso: il meteo è sfavorevole e io sto attraversando un periodo ricco di piccoli ma fastidiosi problemi, pertanto un look comodo e divertente è quello che ci vuole. Cosa può migliorare il morale più di un cappellino con le orecchie ? Il mio cappellino con le orecchie da gattoè grigio ed è un regalo da parte di una cara amica. Mio marito - nemico giurato dei pellicciotti in generale - dovrà farsene una ragione e sopportarmi ancora una volta in versione soffice e variopinta...altrimenti lo potrei graffiare ! Miaoooo !

How to face the most depressing time of the year

What to do when this time of the year make you depressed ? I have a few suggestions. A remedy might be to plan a holiday in a few months, to somewhere you love. Spend time with people you care for, and exercise at the gym, that is always good. Also, a bit of shopping therapy has never killed anyone !. Finding a good deal can be very uplifting. I got so happy when I found my Adidas Superstar sneakers at a cheap price, simply because I have small feet and the kids version is less expensive. It's not a bit deal, not such a big saving compared to the original pricing, but it was enough to make me feel smart, also I was good at buying Adidas Superstar online cause they kept going sold out. They've been around for a while now but just like Adidas Supercolors, they are very comfy and I love to wear them in more daring looks, with skirts and dresses, but also with jeans and casual outfits like this one. How do you cope with this time of the year ?

Come affrontare il periodo più deprimente dell'anno

Cosa fare quando questo periodo dell'anno causa depressione ? Io ho qualche suggerimento. Un rimedio potrebbe essere quello di pianificare una vacanza tra qualche mese, in qualche posto che amate. Trascorrete del tempo con persone alle quali volete bene, e fate ginnastica, che fa sempre bene. Inoltre, un po' di shopping therapy non ha mai ucciso nessuno !. Scovare un buon affare può avere effetti positivi sull'umore. Io ero così felice quando ho trovato le mie Adidas Superstar a prezzo economico, semplicemente perché avendo piedi piccoli ho acquistato la versione da bambina, che ha un prezzo inferiore. Non è chissà cosa, non chissà quale risparmio in confronto al prezzo originale, ma è stato abbastanza per farmi sentire furba, inoltre sono stata brava a comprare le Adidas Superstar online perché continuavano ad essere sold out. E' un po' che sono di moda ma, proprio come le Adidas Supercolor, sono comodissime e io amo portarle sia con look più audaci, con gonne e abiti, ma anche con i jeans in look casual come questo. Voi come affrontare questo periodo ?

Larimar stone jewelry: Larimar bracelet on my fashion blog to tell you about Larimar gem, found only in Dominican Republic

Serenity is a shade of azure chosen from Pantone as one of the colors for the year 2016, and today I wanna tell you about a beautiful, rare gemstone called Larimar, found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. The Larimar gem is a mineral called pectolite found only in the Caribbean waters and it is said to be a part of the legendary Atlantis. What I know is that these stones are stunning, and reminds me of a spring sky, they inspired me positive vibes and tranquility, and since I got my first Larimar bracelet, I have started wearing it very often. In my beautiful bracelet, nine petite Larimar stones were coated and linked together in 925 Sterling Silver. This is a quite classic bracelet, I wanted something timeless that would look good both alone or with other bracelets. It is simple, elegant, adorable and made with truly unique gems: I love it !.

Serenityè una tonalità di azzurro scelta da Pantone come uno dei colori per l'anno 2016, e oggi vi voglio parlare di una bella, preziosa pietra blu chiamata Larimar, che si trova solo nella Repubblica Dominicana, nei Caraibi. Si dice che la gemma Larimar, un minerale chiamato pectolite che si trova solo nelle acque caraibiche, fosse parte della leggendaria Atlantide. Ciò che posso dirvi io è che queste pietre sono meravigliose, mi ricordano un cielo primaverile, mi ispirano vibrazioni positive e tranquillità e da quando ho avuto il mio primo braccialetto in Larimar lo indosso molto spesso. Nel mio bellissimo bracciale, nove piccole pietre Larimar sono state incastonate e legate tra loro con Argento Sterling 925. Si tratta di un braccialetto abbastanza classico, volevo qualcosa senza tempo che stesse bene sia da solo che in combinazione con altri bracciali. E' semplice, elegante, adorabile e fatto con gemme uniche al mondo: lo adoro !.

Color blocking with a Choies plaid midi skirt, a fringed sweater and statement accessories

Color blocking with this bold and edgy outfit today on my fashion blog, to celebrate...it's Friday and the weekend is coming, so let's be happy !. This kind of look, with an uplifting effect on my mood, is featuring a plaid midi skirt found on Choies, a fringed wool sweater with geometric design, together with statement accessories: my Paula Cademartori Petite Faye bag and red open toe Roberto Botticelli shoes, the kind of shoes I fell in love with at first sight, with chunky jeweled heel, worn with a pair of chevron print tights, for extra warmth and another edgy touch. Lately the web is full of pictures of fashion bloggers with heavy coats and summer sandals...I admire them, surely it's a cool thing, but I wouldn't go out like that risking bronchitis, therefore you ain't going to see such a thing on this fashion blog. On the other hand, you will see me wearing the strangest things...that I consider as normal, just like socks with sandals trend :-)

Color blocking con un outfit vivace e audace oggi sul mio fashion blog, per festeggiare...è venerdì, e il weekend sta per arrivare, per cui bisogna essere felici !. Questo tipo di look ha l'effetto di risollevare il mio umore, prevede una gonna midi a quadri trovata su Choies, un maglione in lana con frange e disegni geometrici, insieme a degli accessori davvero particolari. Innanzitutto, la mia borsa Petite Faye Paula Cademartori, e scarpe open toe Roberto Botticelli, il tipo di scarpa che mi ha fatta innamorare a prima vista, con un largo tacco gioiello, indossata con un paio di calze a stampa zig-zag, per calore extra e per un altro tocco particolare. Ultimamente il web è pieno di foto di fashion blogger con cappotti pesanti e sandali estivi...le ammiro, sicuramente sarà una cosa figa, ma io non uscirei mai davvero di casa così rischiando una bronchite, per cui non vedrete mai una cosa del genere sul questo fashion blog. In compenso, mi vedrete abbigliata nei modi più strani...che però a me sembrano normali, come il trend delle calze con i sandali :-)

My Roberto Botticelli Luxury heels with chunky golden heel

Color block is an old friend of mine, I have always liked this fashion trend that mixes different, opposite colors together. In this case, the color block on my Lazzari made in Italy sweater immediately reminded me of the one on my Paula Cademartori bag. The checks on my Choies midi skirt are orangey red, just like the sweater and in the bag. These clothes and accessories belonged together without knowing it. These shoes are so original and edgy and also very comfortable to walk in, with their chunky golden heel. You will see me wearing them also in Spring, with naked legs, of course. It's cold outside, but this look makes me think that soon Winter will be over, and for a Spring/Summer lover like me, this is a very positive thought, and since positive thoughts are necessary to be happy, I wish everyone a fantastic Friday and a weekend full of joy !.

Il color blockè un mio vecchio amico, mi è sempre piaciuto questo trend moda che mescola colori  diversi e opposti. In questo caso, il color block del maglione made in Italy Lazzari mi ha subito ricordato quello sulla mia borsa Paula Cademartori. I larghi quadretti sulla mia gonna midi Choiessono rosso arancio, proprio come quello della maglia e della borsa. Questi abiti e accessori si appartenevano senza saperlo. Queste scarpe sono così originali e particolari e anche molto comode per camminare, con il loro tacco grosso e dorato. Me le vedrete ai piedi anche in primavera, senza calze, ovviamente. Fuori fa freddo, ma questo look mi fa pensare che presto l'inverno sarà finito, e per una amante della Primavera/Estate come me, questo è un pensiero molto positivo, e dato che i pensieri positivi attirano la felicità, io vi auguro uno splendido Venerdì e un fine settimana ricco di gioia !.

Happy fifth birthday to my fashion blog ! We celebrate it with my favorite color: a pink outfit with a cute beanie, a jacquard sweater and fringed Le Silla boots 

Happy fifth birthday to my fashion blog ! A pink outfit is cozy and cute to celebrate the birthday of Fashion and Cookies: a first shy post written on January 27th, 2011, when I had no idea my space on the web would keep growing. Since this blog is truly a reflection of who I am in everyday life, I won't be bragging about how we got the number of followers and visits has grown up with time, as the main thing that kept this blog going for all these years is that I haven't lost the passion to keep it up. Honestly, the main purpose of this fashion blog was the same in 2011 as it is now: sharing my looks, my wishlists and what I like with you out there, my everyday outfits, just like this one, featuring an oversize jacquard sweater from Max Mara, a pink beanie with a faux fur pom-pom, warm leggings and a pair of fringed boots from Le Silla.

Buon quinto compleanno al mio fashion blog ! Un outfit rosa, caldo e tenero, per festeggiare il compleanno di Fashion and Cookies: un primo, timido post scritto il 27 gennaio 2011, quando non avevo idea che il mio spazio sul web sarebbe durato così tanto. Invece, eccomi ancora quì, e dato che questo blog è davvero il riflesso di chi sono io nella vita di tutti i giorni, non mi starò a pavoneggiare parlando dell'aumento di follower o di visite nel tempo, perché il fattore che ha fatto durare il blog per tutti questi anni è che non ho perso la passione di mantenerlo. How to wear leggings ? With a long enough sweater, always !

Do you believe in the power of colors ? I do, and whenever I wear pink I feel more positive and charged with energy. I have been eyeing this Max Mara sweater for some time, and I was so lucky to find it on the first day of sales. I love it because the print is fabulous - I am a sucker for prints - and the shape makes it perfect for leggings - how to wear leggings ? Always with a long enough sweater, and this one is longer on the back, so it's perfect !. I chose pink and fuchsia accessories, from my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and sunglasses to the cute pink beanie I had been showing you on Instagram. I kept the lower part of the body in total black, it has a nice effect on the legs, that seem much longer ;). My best wish for this blogversary is to keep up with this blog for myself, without having to be ashamed to be defined as fashion blogger - that to me means simple to write a blog about fashion I like, nothing more. Thanks everyone for reading and following Fashion and Cookies in these five years, this blogging experience has been incredible so far - the good moments were great, and I managed to learn even from the disappointments, because I believe you never lose, you either win, or you learn. Kisses !

Come indossare i leggings ? Con una maglia lunga abbastanza, sempre !

Credete nel potere dei colori ? Io sì, e ogni volta che indosso il rosa mi sento più positiva e carica di energia. Avevo adocchiato questo maglione Max Mara da un po', e sono stata fortunata a trovarlo il primo giorno di saldi. Lo amo perché la stampa è favolosa - sono una fissata per le stampe - e la forma è perfetta per i leggings - come indossare i leggings ? Sempre con una maglia lunga abbastanza, questa è più lunga sul dietro, per cui è perfetta !. Ho scelto accessori rosa e fucsia, dalla mia borsa e occhiali da sole Marc by Marc Jacobs al carinissimo beanie rosa che vi avevo mostrato su Instagram. Ho mantenuto la parte inferiore del corpo in total black, ha un effetto allungante sulle gambe niente male ;). Il mio augurio migliore per questo blogversaryè continuare a curare il mio blog con passione, non dovermi vergognare mai di essere definita fashion blogger - che per me significa solo curare un blog che parla della moda che piace a me, niente di più. Grazie a tutti coloro che leggono e seguono Fashion and Cookies da cinque anni, questa esperienza di blogging è stata incredibile ad oggi - tanti bei momenti, e ho imparato tanto anche dalle delusioni, perché credo che non si perda mai davvero, o si vince o si impara. Mattel news: Barbie is now also curvy, tall and petite...empowering message or commercial strategy ?

Barbie has a new body. These news have been all over the internet since Mattel announced the launch of three kind of body types for the world's most famous doll in addiction to the one we all know: curvy, tall and petite. These additional designs will include several skin tones, 22 eye colors, 24 hairstyles and hair colors. A wide choice to choose from, after 57 years of Barbie perfection. Is it a cultural revolution with a positive message or is it just a simple commercial strategy ?. It seems these changes came because customers demand dolls that look like them, and I heard this way kids will learn that the classic Barbie body is not the beauty standard. This is true, and I especially like the different skin tones, hair and eyes colors. But I think the different body types of Barbie will look more exciting for us - adult grown up women fighting with our body image everyday. Kids just want to play, and when I was a kid I loved my beautiful Barbies, without thinking "I want my body to be like hers one day". My thoughts were "I want a closet likes her, a life like hers, because it seems there is nothing she can't do !". This was the empowering message of Barbie doll for a little girl like me, and it's still the one that matters. Barbie was the queen, and Ken was dull, I had 40 Barbies and only one Ken after all ;)

Barbie ha un corpo nuovo. Questa notizia è ovunque su internet da quanto la Mattel ha annunciato il lancio di tre tipi di corporatura per la bambola più famosa del mondo, oltre a quello che già conosciamo: curvy, tall e petite. Questi tipi aggiuntivi includeranno diverse tonalità della pelle, 22 colori di occhi, 24 pettinature e colori di capelli. Una ampia varietà tra cui scegliere, dopo 57 anni di perfezione Barbie. Si tratta di una rivoluzione culturale con un messaggio positivo o di semplice strategia commerciale ?. Sembra che questi cambiamenti siano derivati dalla necessità dei clienti di avere bambole somiglianti a loro, e ho anche letto che questo aiuterebbe i bambini a imparare che il corpo di Barbie come lo conoscevamo non deve rappresentare lo standard di bellezza. Questo è vero, e personalmente mi piace l'idea di avere tante varianti sui colori della pelle, capelli e occhi, ma penso anche che siamo noi - le donne oggi adulte che combattono con il loro aspetto ogni giorno - ad essere maggiormente impressionate dalle nuove Barbie. Le bambine vogliono solo giocare, e quando ero una bimba adoravo le mie bellissime Barbie, senza pensare "un giorno voglio che il mio corpo diventi come il suo". I miei pensieri erano, piuttosto "voglio il suo guardaroba, e una vita come la sua, perché sembra non ci sia niente che non possa fare !". Questo per me era il messaggio positivo della Barbie, ed è ancora ciò che conta. Barbie era la regina, e Ken era scialbo, avevo 40 Barbie e solo un Ken dopotutto ;)

In a world when both kids and even more, adults, are glued to their tablets and spend even their social life taking selfies and counting on how many likes they get, in a world when a girl of 18 is already thinking about breast implants and when you can't understand the real age of a woman anymore cause young girls look 35 and older women are without wrinkles thanks to Botox, there is little that a realistic Barbie body type can do. #Thedollevolves, but our society is not evolving much, just take a look at Instagram and you'll see so many identical plastic looking women with plumped lips, enormous breasts on a super skinny body. Those women have a huge following and so many comments from males, plus you will see especially on italian tv this is the standard type of woman. When surgery didn't hit, Photoshop abuse presents us with women that look totally fake. So, personally, I think these Mattel news are ok but this isn't too extraordinary, I don't think that playing with a curvy Barbie will have such an important impact on a young girl's personality - moreover, I used to be a bit chubby as a little kid and a thin teenager, our body can change and it changes, even in a healthy way. What is sure is that if I had a daughter, I'd teach her to love herself, to respect her body and also the differences and I would tell her she can make her own destiny.  Said that, I still prefer Barbie with her tacky princess dresses and an outrageously ridiculous amount of glitter, and in spit of my thin hair, I love her perfect locks and I wouldn't want a Barbie with split ends and hair going frizzy just to feel more reassured. I am happier about Asos curvy, tall and petite sections. What do you think ?

In un mondo in cui sia i bambini ma ancor più gli adulti sono incollati ai loro tablet e trascorrono il tempo a scattarsi selfie, contando quanti like hanno raccolto, in un mondo in cui una ragazza di neanche 18 si fa inserire delle protesi al seno e nel quale non si riesce più a capire la vera età di una donna perché ci sono ragazzine che sembrano già 35enni e donne mature che non hanno neanche una ruga grazie al botox, i cambiamenti che può apportare una Barbie con il corpo realistico sono pochi. #Labambolasievolve ma la nostra società non molto, basta farsi un giro sulle donne più cliccate di Instagram e vedrete quante donne tutte uguali con labbra e seni enormi su un corpo scheletrico.  Queste donne hanno molti follower e tanti commenti maschili, inoltre per la televisione italiana rappresentano uno standard come soubrette. L'abuso di Photoshop ci presenta donne che sembrano di plastica, anche quando la chirurgia non c'entra. Personalmente, saluto questa novità Mattel senza vederla come qualcosa di straordinario, non credo che scegliere una Barbie curvy possa avere un impatto così forte sulla personalità di una bambina - tra l'altro, mi ricordo bambina cicciottina e adolescente magra, il corpo può cambiare e cambia, e può cambiare in modo sano. Se avessi una figlia, questo è certo, le insegnerei ad amare se stessa, a rispettare il proprio corpo e le differenze e soprattutto le direi che lei è l'artefice del proprio destino. Detto ciò, continuo a preferire Barbie con i suoi abiti da principessa un po' cafoni e l'oltraggiosamente ridicola quantità di glitter, e nonostante i miei capelli sottili, adoro la sua massa di capelli e non vorrei una Barbie con le doppie punte e la chioma che si increspa solo per sentirmi rassicurata. Sono più contenta che curvy, tall e petite siano previsti su Asos. Voi cosa ne pensate ?

My fashion blogger outfits recap from January 2016

Before we welcome February, let me tell you January is really one weird month. It's full with optimism and resolutions for the new year starting and at the same time it's sad because the winter holidays end and the knowledge that winter cold weather is still ahead. Plus, it seems it lasts for way too long ! I am looking forward to the next month, so I have thought about posting my monthly outfits recap today ! We had less looks this month, but they are all pretty different from each other: from wide pants to miniskirt, in jeans, maxi dress, midi skirt or leggings, tell me what is your favourite outfit from January ? I am, as always, looking forward to your feedback, otherwise what kind of fashion blogger would I be ?!.

Prima di accogliere febbraio, lasciatemi dire che gennaio è un mese davvero strano. E' pieno di ottimismo e propositi per l'anno nuovo che inizia e allo stesso tempo è triste per la fine delle vacanze e la consapevolezza che ci aspetta ancora il maltempo dell'inverno. Inoltre, sembra che duri davvero troppo ! Non vedo l'ora di passare al mese successivo, per cui ho pensato di anticipare il riepilogo mensile degli outfit a oggi ! Let me know what is your favorite look for this month !

I must confess I really can't decide what was my favorite look, this month. As readers of this fashion blog know, I like to change way too much to stick to a precise style, and I do wear jeans very often in my everyday life, on the other hand my edgiest looks are the ones I have more fun with. I think the last one, with the pink hat, is the one that summarizes comfort, glam and fun more than the others, so I'd go with the sixth one...maybe. Well, the first month of 2016 has gone by...how did your month go ? I did some sales shopping, got back to the gym (but I also skipped a few days) and didn't manage to do all I wanted, I was a bit lazy. I know I will do better in February, also I wanna re-start following Sonia Tlev's Top Body Challenge, I did it last year and it was so good. I promise I am gonna slow down in saving inspirations to my Pinterest boards and will actually start doing those things ! I hope your January was good and I wish you a brilliant February ! :-)

Confesso di non riuscire a decidere quale sia il mio look preferito del mese. Come i lettori di questo fashion blog sanno, mi piace troppo cambiare per mantenere uno stile preciso, e se indosso i jeans molto spesso nella mia vita di tutti i giorni, sono i miei look più audaci quelli che mi fanno divertire maggiormente. Credo che l'ultimo, con il cappellino rosa, sia quello che sommi comodità, glam e divertimento più che gli altri, quindi penso che sceglierò il sesto...forse. Bene, il primo mese del 2016 è passato...come è andato il vostro ? Io ho fatto degli acquisti ai saldi, sono tornata in palestra (sebbene abbia saltato qualche appuntamento) e non sono riuscita a portare a termine tutto ciò che avevo programmato, la pigrizia ha avuto il sopravvento. So che farò meglio a febbraio, inoltre voglio riseguire il programma di Sonia Tlev, la Top Body Challenge, che ho già seguito l'anno scorso con ottimi risultati. Prometto di salvare meno ispirazioni nelle mie bacheche di Pinterest e di agire di più ! Spero che il vostro gennaio sia stato ottimo e vi auguro uno splendido febbraio ! :-)

A wrap hooded coat in royal blue worn with over the knee boots for a very feminine outfit

A wrap hooded coat in a beautiful shade of royal blue for the first outfit of February on my fashion blog. I am a true coataholic, I think that, after the right accessories, nothing beats a good outerwear piece when it's winter. I have always been a fan of wrap coats and I felt the need of having a coat with a hood. I was so glad when I found one on sale, and in this bold shade of electric blue ! How to wear a wrap hooded coat ? I paired it with a pair of over the knee boots from Nando Muzi and kept playing with blue color with a nice shift dress from Frontrowshop, an online shop where I often find trendy clothes at a very affordable price. The result is very feminine and modern, with a small black crossbody bag and a beautiful Luca Barra necklace, together with a jewel hair clip.

Un cappotto a vestaglia con cappuccio in una bella tonalità di blu elettrico per il primo outfit di febbraio sul mio fashion blog. Sono una vera cappottodipendente, in quanto credo che, a parte gli accessori giusti, niente possa battere un bel capo spalla quando è inverno. Sono da sempre una fan dei cappotti allacciati e sentivo il bisogno di averne uno con il cappuccio. Contentissima di averlo trovato in saldo, e in questo bel blu elettrico, colore che amo indossare !. Come indossareun cappotto allacciato con cappuccio ? Io l'ho abbinato a stivali oltre il ginocchio di Nando Muzi e ho continuato a giocare con il blu con un mini abito svasato di Frontrowshop, un negozio online dove spesso trovo capi alla moda a prezzi davvero convenienti. Il risultato è femminile e moderno, con una piccola borsa nera a tracolla e una bella collana Luca Barra, oltre a un fermaglio gioiello tra i capelli.

This first outfit of February has three items that will keep being trendy also next year, and therefore make great purchases, even last minute: wrap coat, crossbody bag and cuissardes. I have been wearing smaller bags more often, lately, and for a lover of roomy bags like me this is a sort of revolution. This Marc by Marc Jacobs Sally crossbody bag is very versatile, I suggest you to get at least one crossbody bag on sale because they will be useful also on Spring/Summer, and you can even wear it with another handbag for a very glam result. Cuissard boots have been a hot trend also this year, and I bought another pair, these ones are tight on my legs because in elastic leather and also have a sexy stiletto heel, they are made in Italy from a Marche shoe district brand, Nando Muzi. I personally love the royal blue and black match, and you ?.

Questo primo outfit di febbraio contiene tre articoli che continueranno a essere alla moda anche l'anno prossimo, pertanto rappresentano ottimi acquisti, anche dell'ultimo minuto: cappotto a vestaglia, borsa a tracolla e cuissardes. Ultimamente mi ritrovo a indossare sempre più spesso borse piccole, e per me, amante delle borse molto capienti, è una vera rivoluzione. Questa tracollina Sally Marc by Marc Jacobsè molto versatile, vi suggerisco di procurarvi almeno una borsa piccola e a tracolla, magari ai saldi, perché vi sarà molto utile anche per la Primavera/Estate, e potete anche abbinarla a un'altra borsa a mano per un risultato molto glam. Gli stivali cuissardes sono un trend che è andato molto forte anche quest'anno, e io ne ho acquistato un ulteriore paio, questi sono aderenti perché in pelle elastica e hanno un sexy tacco a spillo, sono di un brand del distretto calzaturiero delle Marche che mi piace molto, Nando Muzi. The colors in this collection are divided in two groups: two pink nudes and two beige nudes. Feel Beauty is a soft pink classic light pink color, perfect on light skin. Skinlover is a very pigmented, elegant shade of pink, perfect for daytime. On the beige side, Light Touch is a light and delicate beige color, a very glamorous shade, great on light skin tones, and Nude Look is the darkest color in this collection, a very intense beige that looks great on darker or tanned skins and is very sophisticated. I had the chance to try two nail polishes in this TNS Nude Look collection, and went for the darkest nuances in both the groups: Skinlover and Nude Look.

Come vi ho già detto in un post precedente, le unghie nude sono uno dei trend unghie più hot per la Primavera/Estate 2016. Le tonalità ispirate al colore della pelle aggiungono un tocco classico e chic alla nostra manicure, e il brand italiano TNS Cosmetics lo sa molto bene, infatti ha deciso di lanciare una speciale collezione Nude Look, composta da quattro colori che declinano quattro tipi di tonalità della pelle. I colori di questa collezione si possono dividere in due gruppi: due nude rosati e due nude nei toni del beige. Feel Beautyè un rosa leggero e classico, perfetto sulle pelli chiare. Skinloverè una tonalità di rosa più carico, è elegante e molto pigmentato, molto adatto al giorno. Per i beige, Light Touchè un beige molto chiaro e delicato, molto glam, adatto alle carnagioni chiare e Nude Lookè il colore più scuro della collezione, un beige molto intenso che sta benissimo sulle carnagioni più scure o abbronzate e rende la manicure molto sofisticata. Ho avuto la possibilità di provare due smalti della collezione TNS Nude Look, e ho scelto le due nuance in entrambi i gruppi: Skinlover e Nude Look.

I love this elegant collection and I have fallen in love with both the colors I chose: Skinlover is an extraordinary pink color, so chic and lasting on my nails, it has a great coverage with only one coat, and it stands out so much on my nails without being too "dollish". Since my skin is very fair, I took a risk in chosing Nude Look, but I actually wanted a nude nail polish that would stand out on my skin and I have to say this beige color that I would define as camel color is perfect now with winter clothes and is going to be even better in summer. Just like all TNS Cosmetics nail polish, as I already told you about, these beauties have a 3-Free Formula (without Toluene, Phthalates and Formaldehyde) and also a nail fortifying action. The nail polish brush allows an even and easy application and the quality of these products is TOP level. I have been using the amazing TNS BB nailbefore and it makes my manicure look even better, whereas I am not using any top coat on these ones, they are already so shiny. I strongly advice you to get this collection and, after seeing the swatches of the other two colors, I have decided I need also the other two nail polish bottles from this TNS Nude Look collection, to dress up my nails with elegance ! Skinlover e Nude Look sono le mie scelte da questa elegante collezione Nude Look

Adoro questa collezione elegante e mi sono innamorata di entrambi i colori che ho scelto: Skinlover è un rosa eccezionale, elegante e incredibilmente durevole sulle unghie, coprente con una passata, risalta molto senza essere troppo "da bambola". Data la mia pelle davvero chiara, ho rischiato a scegliere Nude Look, ma volevo uno smalto nude che risaltasse sulla mia pelle e devo dire che questo beige che definirei cammello è perfetto adesso con abiti invernali e sarà ancora meglio in estate. Come tutti gli smalti TNS Cosmetics, dei quali vi ho già parlato altre volte, anche questi gioiellini hanno una formulazione priva dei 3 (senza Toluene, Ftalati e Formaldeide) e hanno azione rinforzante sulle unghie. Il pennello applicatore consente una applicazione precisa e facile e come qualità siamo proprio a livelli TOP. Sto usando la meravigliosa BB nail TNS prima e rende la mia manicure davvero migliore, mentre non sto applicando il top coat perché questi smalti sono già molto lucidi. Ve li consiglio caldamente e, dopo aver visto gli swatch degli altri due colori, ho deciso di aver bisogno anche gli altri due smalti di questa TNS Nude Look collection, per rivestire le mie unghie di eleganza ! A fringed poncho for a western mood outfit

A casual look featuring a fringed aztec poncho for a lazy walk in the countryside, today on my fashion blog. A western chic inspiration, straight after watching The Hateful Eight at the cinema (I love Quentin Tarantino's movies), with boyfriend jeans, my comfortable Lorenzo Mari ankle boots and a Kate Spade New York bucket bag. I have always been a fan of capes, and this one is very cozy and soft. It's a piece of clothing I love to wear until late Spring, and if you don't have one, I suggest you to purchase one with the last sales ;)

Wearing a cape can be a good idea on how to wear your boyfriend jeans. I have found mine on LucLuc, a webshop selling trendy clothes at very affordable price. I personally love wearing jeans and I can't have enough of them. For this casual outfit, I decided to wear my Lorenzo Mari ankle boots once again, they have a western shape with a urban chic touch. Sure, this weird weather - it's been one of the hottest winters in Italy so far - is allowing us to wear clothes that aren't too heavy, and at this point let's hope this lasts and that Spring arrives soon ! Personalmente adoro indossare i jeans e non me ne stanco mai. Per questo outfit casual, ho deciso di optare per i miei stivaletti Lorenzo Mariancora una volta, hanno una forma di ispirazione western con un tocco urban chic. Sicuramente, questo strano tempo - è stato ad oggi uno degli inverni più caldi che ricordi quì in Italia - ci sta consentendo di indossare abiti non troppo pesanti, a questo punto speriamo che duri e che la Primavera arrivi presto ! I have found the perfect black coat: Max Mara Manuela coat is a chic, classic camel hair coat

A windy day in my favorite coat: Max Mara Manuela coat is the iconic coat of this italian brand I love, a beyond trends, beyond seasons piece of clothing. This long coat in pure camelhair with a wide lapel and side pockets is warm and classy with its belt and wraparound closure. It is a classic  chic piece, it has an oversize silhouette and it's perfect with both elegant and casual clothes. I have been wishing a Manuela camel coat for a long time, and finally I had one this Christmas. I was longing for the perfect black coat, and this one, born in the 1960s and seen on many actresses and models, doesn't even go on sale, it's a true investment when it comes to outerwear pieces. This time I wore it with a floral Red Valentino maxi dress, with a 70s vibe but also a print that reminds me much of Russia. I wanted to show it to you without the coat on because it deserves a spotlight, but there was too much cold wind on that day and I had to give up, so I will do it another time.

Una giornata ventosa nel mio cappotto preferito: il cappotto Manuela di Max Maraè il cappotto iconico di questo brand italiano che amo, un capo d'abbigliamento che va oltre le mode, oltre le stagioni. Questo lungo cappotto in puro cammello con ampio bavero e tasche laterali è caldo e di classe, con cintura e chiusura allacciata. Si tratta di un capo classico e chic, con una silhouette oversize, perfetto sia con abiti eleganti che casual. Ho desiderato un cappotto Manuela per tanto tempo, e finalmente è arrivato questo Natale. Volevo il cappotto nero perfetto, e questo, nato negli anni '60 e visto sulle spalle di tante attrici e modelle, non va neanche mai in saldo, è un vero investimento come capospalla. Questa volta l'ho indossato con un maxi abito a fiori Red Valentino, dal vibe anni '70 ma anche una stampa che mi ricorda molto la Russia. Volevo mostrarvelo senza il cappotto perché merita attenzione, ma c'era troppo vento gelido quel giorno e ho dovuto rinunciare, lo farò un'altra volta.

The fabric of this Max Mara Manuela coat is so perfect, soft and precious ! I already know one day soon this beautiful coat will be mine also in camel color. I went for a precious statement necklace - a present from hubby - and a small Fendi clutch as accessories. A pair of black ankle boots with studded heel under my Red Valentino maxi dress completed my outfit. I know this long coat will keep me good company in many winter days and evenings ! Chanel makeup Spring 2016 LA Sunrise collection: Sunkiss Ribbon blush is my best choice

The Chanel makeup Spring 2016 LA Sunrise collection is out: what to get ? As a true makeupaholic and a big fan of all limited edition collections, I admit I used to buy pratically everything in each collection, especially from brands like Chanel, Dior, MAC and others. Anyway, since we do get wise with age and sometimes I have experienced some disappointments even from my favorite brands, I have been trying to buy only the best and worthy stuff. This means following a few simple rules, here they are: 

- I try to curb my enthusiasm, having shopping with enough time to think well in the shop, and I also think about it before reading some information

- I swatch the products at the counter, I don't just look at them but I test them

- I read the reviews on your favorite beauty blogs (my absolutely favorite beauty blogs when it comes to deciding my purchases is Temptalia, followed by some other blogs, mostly american ones, the ones that give out votations and also explain the reasons for their votes)

- I try to recal if you have something really similar from previous collections and decide if it's the case to get almost a dupe

Said that, the best thing in this Chanel LA Sunrise collection, in my opinion, is the Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de blush. A mixture of five different shades, from warm pink, soft pink to coral, golden beige and fuchsia that create a pink-coral blush that is incredibly blendable, smooth and well pigmented. I got it together with a Chanel stylo yeux waterproof in fervent blue, my favorite color out of the three that came out with this collection, and I couldn't be happier about my choice !.

La collezione makeup Chanel LA Sunrise per la primavera 2016è uscita: cosa prendere ? Da vera makeupaholic e da grande fan delle edizioni limitate, ammetto che ero solita comprare praticamente tutto di ogni collezione, specialmente da brand come Chanel, Dior, MAC e altri. Comunque, dato che con l'età si diventa saggi e alcune volte ho ricevuto delle delusioni persino dai miei marchi preferiti, ho iniziato a impegnarmi per comprare solo gli articoli migliori e meritevoli. Ci riesco seguendo poche semplici regole, eccovele:

- cerco di contenere il mio entusiasmo, faccio shopping solo se ho abbastanza tempo per pensarci in negozio, e ci penso anche prima informandomi;

- provo i prodotti all'espositore, non limitandomi a osservarli ma testandoli;

- leggo le review dei miei beauty blog preferiti (il mio beauty blog preferito in assoluto quando si tratta di prendere decisioni è Temptalia, seguito da altri, la maggior parte americani, che danno i voti ai prodotti e argomentano anche le motivazioni);

- cerco di ricordare se ho qualcosa di troppo simile da precedenti collezioni e decido se sia il caso di avere quasi un dupe.

Detto ciò, l'articolo migliore di questa collezione Chanel LA Sunriseè, a mio parere, è il blush Harmonie de blush Sunkiss Ribbon. Un insieme di cinque diverse tonalità, dal rosa caldo, a quello chiaro al corallo, dal beige dorato al fucsia, che creano un blush rosa-corallo incredibilmente sfumabile, morbido e ben pigmentato. L'ho comprato insieme alla Chanel stylo yeux waterproof in fervent blue, il mio colore preferito tra i tre disponibili in questa collezione, e non potrei essere più felice della mia scelta !.

Stylo Yeaux Waterproof  Pencils are always in my makeup stash, I use them everyday (the black one 88 Noir Intense is my favorite one, much easier to apply compared to any eyeliner and is perfect to create incredible smokey eyes). I haven't tried wearing this fervent blue stylo waterproof pencil yet, I will keep you updated. The beautiful Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de Blush is going to come with me on Sunday, on Valentine's day, it's gonna be my first day wearing it out of home. I love to buy new makeup but the first time I use it I am always a bit anxious, I wish I had two pieces of the same item to keep one untouched, is it only me with this daydream ? :-) Usually, I am really happy with Chanel makeup seasonal collections, whereas I have been reading mixed reviews about the Dior ones, wonderful but not always well performing (this doesn't apply to nail polish) according to some blogs - but that would be another post ;-) Have you got anything from Chanel makeup LA Sunrise collection, evoking a hot californian summer ?

Le matite occhi Stylo Yeaux Waterproof sono sempre nel mio arsenale trucco, le uso ogni giorno (quella nera, 88 Noir Intenseè la mia preferita, facilissima da applicare in confronto a qualsiasi eyeliner, molto pigmentata e perfetta per creare smokey eyes incredibili). Non ho ancora provato la stylo waterproof fervent blue ancora, vi terrò aggiornati. Amo comprare nuovo trucco ma la prima volta che lo uso sono sempre un po' ansiosa, vorrei sempre avere due pezzi dello stesso articolo per tenerne uno intatto, sono la sola con questo sogno ad occhi aperti ? :-) Di solito, sono veramente felice di queste collezioni trucco stagionali, mentre è un po' che leggo giudizi contrastanti su quelle Dior, bellissime ma non sempre performanti (tranne che per gli smalti) secondo alcuni blog - ma di questo parleremo in altri beauty post ;-) Voi avete preso qualcosa di questa collezione Chanel LA Sunrise, che evoca una calda estate californiana ?

My romantic Grease inspired outfit for Valentine's day with a bomber jacket and an asymmetrical midi skirt

Valentine's day is going to be on a Sunday, therefore, instead of just waiting to go on a romantic dinner in the evening, hubby and I decided to start our little celebration earlier - after all, spending an entire day together without having to work is already a blessing. My Valentine's day outfit is, therefore, appropriate for daytime to evening. I chose to get inspired from Grease musical, an evergreen, and I went for a cute little bomber, one of the hottest trends for Spring 2016, an asymmetrical midi skirt and a cute crossbody bag in a light azure color - after all, Serenity, as read on many fashion blogs - is one of the top colors chosen from Pantone for Spring. A romantic Fifites inspired, Grease style look, feminine and fun, also thanks to my Be Kate pumps from Sergio Amaranti, with a cute bow on their back that make them very girly, that I showed you already. Just like in every Valentine's day, red roses are a must have...and I have mine thanks to a handmade brooch from Rosé a Pois...these ones do not fade !.

Il giorno di San Valentino sarà di domenica, pertanto, anziché attendere solo una cena romantica la sera, io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di iniziare la nostra piccola festicciola prima - dopotutto, trascorrere una intera giornata insieme senza dover andare al lavoro è già fantastico. Il mio outfit di San Valentinoè, pertanto, adatto al giorno fino alla sera. Ho deciso di ispirarmi al musical Grease, un evergreen, e ho scelto un piccolo bomber corto, uno dei trend per la Primavera 2016, una gonna midi asimmetrica e una deliziosa borsa a tracolla in azzurro chiaro - dopotutto, Serenity, come avete letto su molti fashion blog, è uno dei colori top scelti da Pantone per la Primavera. Un outfit romantico ispirato agli anni Cinquanta stile Grease, femminile e divertente, anche grazie alle mie pumps Be Kate Sergio Amaranti, con un fiocchetto sul retro che le rende molto girly, che vi avevo già mostrato. Come in ogni San Valentino, ci vogliono le rose rosse...e io ho le mie grazie a una spilla handmade di Rosé a Pois...queste non appassiscono !.

Good girl style from the Fifties to celebrate Valentine's day and my name-day

A cute collar sweater with a touch of glitter and cat eyes sunglasses keep the good girl style typical from the 1950s, together with a ponytail and sparkly earrings, as well as pantyhose and heels. I do have pierced lobes, therefore I rarely wear earrings, and when I do they are clip-on earrings. This Valentine's day outfit is so "me" because I love to wear something feminine but also fun. I know many people hate Valentine's day, that love needs to be celebrated everyday, and the two things are not mutually exclusive; for us, this is just another day to spend together trying to be as happy as we can...and it's also my name day, since my full name is Valentina :-). Whatever your condition is, have yourself a happy weekend, filled with love but most of all with laughters, because I think we all need to smile more ! 

Stile da brava ragazza Anni Cinquanta per festeggiare San Valentino e il mio onomastico

Un carinissimo pull con colletto tipo polo con un tocco di glitter e occhiali da sole cat-eyes hanno esaltato lo stile da brava ragazza tipico degli anni 50, insieme ai capelli raccolti in una coda e orecchini luccicosi e alle calze portate con i tacchi. Non ho i lobi forati, per cui indosso raramente orecchini, e quando lo faccio sono a clip. Questo outfit di San Valentinoè molto "me" perché, oltre a essere molto femminile è divertente. So che molte persone odiano San Valentino, che l'amore va celebrato ogni giorno, ma le cose non si escludono, e per noi questo è solo un altro giorno da trascorrere insieme cercando di essere il più felici possibile...inoltre, è anche il mio onomastico, dato che il mio nome è Valentina :-). Qualunque sia il vostro status, trascorrete un felice weekend, pieno di amore ma soprattutto di risate, perché credo che abbiamo tutti bisogno di sorridere di più !.

How to spice up a black outfit ? The metallic silver trend adds some shine to a dark look !

After a few colorful looks, I go back to black and like a good fashion blogger, I show you how to spice up a black outfit: adding some metallic shine, of course ! After all, bright and metallic silver was seen on many catwalks for this Spring/Summer, and it's a smart way to add some light to a dark ensemble without opting for the classic black & white. In these pics you see me wearing my beloved Balenciaga coat with striped culottes pants and a silver wool sweater. The light keeps shining even on my masculine shoes with jewel applications from Le Silla, one of my favorite brands.

Come vivacizzare un outfit nero ? Il trend dell'argento metallizzato aggiunge brillantezza a un look scuro !

Dopo un bel po' di look colorati, torno al nero e, da brava fashion blogger, vi mostro come vivacizzare un outfit nero: aggiungendo del bagliore metallico, ovviamente ! Dopotutto, l'argento scintillante e metallico è stato visto su molte passerelle per la Primavera/Estate, e si tratta di un modo intelligente per dare luce a un insieme scuro senza andare sul classico bianco & nero. In queste foto mi vedete con il mio adorato cappotto Balenciaga portato con pantaloni culottes a righe e maglione in lana argentata. La luce continua a splendere anche sulle mie scarpe dal taglio maschile con applicazioni gioiello di Le Silla, uno dei miei brand del cuore.

Culottes are a hot trend that is going to stay also for the warm season, and personally I am very happy about it. These ones have large silver stripes and I easily matched them with my metallic wool sweater. This stylish yet comfortable look was perfect for a walk with some shopping, made easy also thanks to my comfy, roomy Givenchy Pandora bag, easy to carry around with its top handle. Incorporating silver in your black looks can be a good choice and it doesn't only have to be for elegant clothes. Do you have any metallic shine clothes in your closet ? It's time to take out the grandma Yetta lying inside of you and be proud of it ! :-)

Le culottes sono un trend molto in che starà con noi anche nella bella stagione, e personalmente ne sono molto felice. Questi pantaloni hanno larghe righe color argento e li ho abbinati facilmente al mio maglione in lana metallizzata. Questo look stiloso ma confortevole è stato perfetto per una passeggiata condita da un po' di shopping, complice anche la mia comoda e spaziosa borsa Pandora Givenchy, facile da portare con me grazie al manico superiore. Incorporare l'argento nei look neri può essere una ottima decisione e non deve assolutamente essere riservata all'abbigliamento elegante. Avete qualche capo dal bagliore metallico nel vostro armadio ? E' tempo di tirare fuori la zia Yetta che è in voi e di andarne fiere ! :-)

An innovative beauty product, a rich face cream for a beautiful, hydrated, toned skin 

I have to say that the idea of a black beauty treatment is already intriguing because it's unusual. This Uniqa Nera cream has a divine scent, very delicate and good, and it is very creamy and rich. I have dry skin and I  am used to rich textures but I think it is suitable also for mixed skins. I have been applying it with a gentle massage after taking my makeup off and before going to sleep, and I am positively impressed after a few days of usage. I had no break outs, nor any other skin condition after using it, and my skin feels smoother and softer as well as I look more rested. I used to apply a face mask every now and then to have some extra moistuirizing effect on my skin, but I don't feel the need to do it since I have been using Uniqa nera. Un prodotto beauty innovativo, una ricca crema viso per una pelle bella, idratata e tonica

Ammetto che già l'idea di un trattamento di bellezza nero è altamente intrigante perché inusuale. Uniqa Nera ha un profumo delizioso, molto delicato e buono, inoltre è molto ricca e cremosa. Ho la pelle secca e sono abituata a texture ricche ma credo sia adatta anche a pelli miste perché non risulta grassa. Io la sto applicando con leggero massaggio sul viso dopo essermi struccata e prima di andare a dormire, e ne sono positivamente impressionata dopo qualche giorno di utilizzo. Non ho avuto brufoli o altri problemi di pelle, che invece già si sente più liscia e morbida, e sembro anche più riposata. What to wear when you have nothing to wear ? No panic: skinny jeans and camel coat is the right solution !

What to wear when you have nothing to wear ? Of course this is not true, I do have what to wear but especially when I am in a hurry to run my errands, I have that ugly feeling I can't seem to find anything to wear. Well, my solution to this typically feminine problem, in winter, is this one: I usually opt for a pair of skinny jeans and a camel coat, an easy outfit that you saw me wearing already on this fashion blog. This cute little Kiabi boyfriend camel coat, that I showed you in amore casual look, is this time worn in a more "grown up" context thanks to comfy mid heel shoes. I love camel with red, it's a color combo I have been using so much, and throwing a lovely red sweater like this one, adding a colorful bag doesn't require too much time. No panic: maybe, this time I won't be late...what do you say ?.

Cosa indossare quando non si ha nulla da indossare ? Niente panico: jeans skinny e un cappotto cammello è la soluzione giusta !

Cosa indossare quando non si ha nulla da indossare ? Ovviamente non è vero, ho cosa indossare, ma specialmente quando vado di fretta per sbrigare delle faccende, ho quella brutta sensazione, non riesco a trovare nulla da mettere. La mia soluzione a questo problema tipicamente femminile, in inverno, è questa: di solito opto per un paio di jeans skinny e un cappotto cammello, un outfit easy che mi avete già visto indossare diverse volte su questo fashion blog. Questo carinissimo cappottino boyfriend Kiabi, che vi avevo mostrato in un look molto più casual, sta bene anche in questa versione più "adulta" grazie a comode scarpe dal tacco medio. Adoro l'abbinamento cammello e rosso, lo indosso spesso, e scegliere un adorabile maglione rosso, aggiungere una borsa  colorata non richiede troppo tempo. Niente panico: forse questa volta non sarò in ritardo...che ne dite ?.

A large check scarf is perfect with my camel coat, my jolly piece

Never without a large scarf, and my Zara plaid scarf is perfect on a slim camel coat with a boyfriend cut. This kind of easy look is very suitable for daytime, and wearing mid heels with jeans is much better than wearing them with a pencil skirt, that would make them look too old. Actually, these Roberto Botticelli shoes are pretty original, in hive effect leather and their rubber cap toe and are also very comfortable. This Kiabi camel coat has been one of the best adds in my closet this season, it's a neutral piece that can be worn in many different ways. Do you also have a jolly piece like this one ? I am curious to know :-) So, when you have nothing to wear, take a deep breath and wear something easy like this look...it will work !. Have yourself a happy weekend !

Una sciarpona a quadri è perfetta sul cappotto cammello, il mio capo jolly

Mai senza una grande sciarpa, e la mia sciarpa Zara a quadriè perfetta su un cappotto cammello slim dal taglio boyfriend. Questo tipo di look easy è molto adatto al giorno, e calzare scarpe di altezza media con i jeansè la scelta migliore secondo me; con una pencil skirt l'insieme risulterebbe troppo datato. Queste scarpe Roberto Botticelli sono molto originali, in pelle effetto "alveare" e punta in gomma, inoltre sono comodissime. Il cappottino cammello Kiabi è stata una delle aggiunte migliori nel mio guardaroba questa stagione, ed è un capo neutro che può essere indossato in molti modi diversi, un vero jolly. Voi avete un capo jolly come questo ? Sono curiosa di saperlo :-) Quando non avete nulla da mettere, fate un respiro profondo e indossate qualcosa di easy come questo look...funzionerà !.
