Today's post was inspired by the lovely blogger Giada from The Style Corner. She launched the idea to write a post about our 5 IT-bags. As a lover of bags, I couldn't help but joining Giada and the other fellow bloggers in this task ! The only problem is that we are supposed to list 5 top bags, one for each moment of the day (or night)...and there's more than 5 in my wish-list ! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the post and that let me know your opinion !. Now all I feel like adding is that...gotta catch them all, just like Pokemons !!!.
Il mio post di oggi è ispirato da una simpatica iniziativa di Giada di The Style Corner, una deliziosa blogger che ha avuto l'idea di scrivere un post collettivo indicando le nostre 5 borse iconiche, invitando altre blogger appassionate di borse a fare lo stesso per poterci confrontare sull'argomento.
Capirete che non potevo non cimentarmi anche io in questo piacevolissimo compito ! L'unico problema è che l'elenco deve essere di 5 borse in totale, una per ogni momento della giornata (e nottata...)...e ce ne sono più di 5 nella mia wish-list ! Comunque, spero il post vi piaccia e sono curiosa di conoscere le vostre opinioni in merito !. Per ora mi sento solo di aggiungere "Gotta catch them all", proprio come se fossero Pokemons !!!.
# 1. Night bag: Chanel 2.55 classic flap in medium size with golden hardware.
This bag is a classic and a dream for many, many women and it's been in my wish-list for a long time now ! I would want a medium or even a jumbo size, because I would surely use them more, since I like to bring so many things with me. Of course this bag would be perfect from day to night time, I think I classified it as a night bag just cause it's so elegant...I think a medium size would be a good compromise and I could carry it with me even for more occasions.
Questa borsa non ha bisogno di presentazioni, ed è nella mia wish-list da tanto tempo ormai ! Vorrei una misura media o anche una jumbo, in quanto sono abituata a portare molte cose con me e così riuscirei a sfruttarla maggiormente. Premettendo che la userei non solo la sera ma anche di giorno e che in questo post l'ho classificata come borsa "da serata" per la sua eleganza, penso che una misura media sia un buon compromesso e che permetta di adoperarla in più occasioni.
# 2. Formal bag: Cèline diamond clutch.
Formal events demand small bags, possibly clutch bags, and this one from Cèline is plain beautiful ! I opted for the one in leather and snakeskin, I think it's very modern, with its clean design, and very elegant. I totally see it with a sexy long dress...wow !.
Gli eventi più formali richiedono borse piccole e a mano, possibilmente clutch, e questa di Cèline è semplicemente divina ! Ho scelto la versione in camoscio e rettile, credo sia molto moderna, con il suo design pulito e lineare, e molto elegante. La vedo molto bene con un abito lungo e sexy...wow !.
The Cabas Chyc is one of my obsessions, the large one would be perfect for work and to add an elegant touch to busy daytime office time. I would like this one in stone-grey cause it would be easy to match and anyway I have also seen that the "older" design (this one) is now only available in grey, black and tan color. I like the new Cabas Chyc but I like this one much more !. I actually fear it will be discontinued soon, before I can buy one...a nightmare !.
La Cabas Chyc è una delle mie ossessioni, il modello grande sarebbe perfetto per aggiungere un tocco di eleganza alle spesso uggiose giornate di lavoro. Mi piacerebbe questa in grigio per la facilità di abbinamento, inoltre ho notato che questo modello (con le impunture che formano una Y), ovvero quello più "vecchio", è ormai disponibile solo in large e in pochi colori. Mi piace la nuova tote Cabas ma non quanto questa ! Anzi, confesso di temere che non venga più prodotta prima che io possa impossessarmene...un incubo !.
# 4. Free time bag: Givenchy Pandora bag in black textured leather.
I am absolutely crazy for Givenchy bags. I love the Antigona, I like the Nightingale...and I love the Pandora. Actually this is one of my iconic bags I am lucky to own ! It's so roomy and I like the way it "changes" when you wear it, it seems to look different all the time !. I fell in love with this bag slowly...I remember thinking so much before buying it, and I didn't regret it at all ! Mine is like the one above, in black textured leather with silver hardware. Perfect with a casual outfit, it looks good also with a dress, and the handle plus the shoulder strap makes it extra comfortable, perfect for walking, for shopping and much more !.
Io impazzisco per le borse di Givenchy. Amo la Antigona, mi piace la Nightingale..e amo la Pandora. Sono l'orgogliosa proprietaria di una Pandora modello large, in pelle nera, con hardware argento, proprio come quella in foto. Si tratta di una borsa spaziosa e camaleontica. Me ne sono innamorata lentamente...ci ho pensato tanto prima di comprarla, ma non riuscivo a togliermela dalla testa, e non me ne sono mai pentita ! E' perfetta con gli outfit casual, ma fa la sua figura anche cou un abitino, inoltre il manico e la tracolla la rendono super comoda, perfetta per passeggiate, shopping sfrenato e molto altro !.
# 5. Summer bag: Balenciaga City in coral with golden hardware.
I love Balenciaga bags, and the City bag has the perfect size to carry my belongings, including my sunglasses and make up, plus coral color makes me think about summer and holidays...that's why it would be a perfect summer bag for me !. I already have a sister in cobalt blue, with rose gold hardware...I would be more than happy to give it a sister in coral, with golden hardware !. Also, Balenciaga bags are perfect for holidays cause they don't take much space into your luggage, they are so light and don't lose their shape ! This one is beautiful, I don't need to add more...I am getting sad because I want it NOW ! :)
Amo le Balenciaga, e il modello City ha le dimensioni perfette per portare con me tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno, inclusi gli occhiali da sole...e il color corallo mi fa pensare all'estate, alle vacanze, ecco il perché sarebbe una perfetta borsa estiva...ho già una "sorella" in blu cobalto, con hardware oro rosa...sarei felicissima di poter allargare la famiglia con una sorellina in corallo, con hardware oro ! Le borse di Balenciaga sono perfette da portare in vacanza perché non prendono troppo spazio in valigia, sono leggerissime e non perdono la forma ! Questa è proprio bella, non devo aggiungere altro...sto diventando triste perché ne voglio una ADESSO ! :).
