Pantone's color of the year is Greenery, a sort of yellow-green shade that at first glance left many of us a bit perplex: wearing such an unusual shade of green is an easy task ?. I have to say after the first, initial disbelieft, this bright color started to grow on me and I have been starting to like it. Maybe because it's said to be the color of nature, and it's all about new oxygen and natural beauty, this color is somehow fascinating. I will sure be reckoning with this bright green color in my fashion choices, starting from a cute dress and also from accessories. It's gonna be easy to find, because until now, Greenery has been used mostly in home decor but now we can see it on fashion runaways and also in low cost shops, ready to give a touch of nature and to spice up our everyday looks.

Il colore dell'anno per Pantoneè il Greenery, una sorta di tonalità verde acido che a prima vista ha lasciato molti di noi abbastanza perplessi: indossare una tonalità di verde così unusuale è un compito facile ?. Devo dire che dopo un primo momento di incredulità, questo colore brillante ha iniziato a 'crescere' nella mia considerazione e ho iniziato ad apprezzarlo. Forse perché dicono sia il colore della natura, che ci porta nuovo ossigeno e bellezza naturale, questo colore ha un che di affascinante. Sicuramente terrò conto di questo verde acceso nelle mie scelte moda, con un abitino carino e anche con qualche accessorio. Sarà facile trovarlo, perché fino ad oggi, ilGreeneryè stato usato maggiormente nell'arredamento di interni ma adesso lo possiamo ammirare sulle passerelle e anche nelle catene di negozi low cost, pronto a portare un po' di natura e di vivacità ai nostri look quotidiani.

Fashion says it is time to incorporate green - even such an unusual shade for clothing as Greenery - in our everyday style, and if you think it's too weird, you can still wear green staying in your comfort zone: military green and emerald green are such classic shades that it's almost impossible not to bump into something you like !. I personally love shirt dresses at the moment and would love one in army green, to wear now under a cardigan and in Spring without. I already own an emerald green plated skirt and I will no doubt wear it again, even with different shades of the same color, for a nice gradient effect. In general, olive/army green is perfect on darker skin tones whereas pale skins like mine will look better with intense, bright shades like emerald green, but I like to wear them all green shades. What do you think about wearing green and, especially, Greenery ? Do you think Pantone did the right choice ?

La moda dice che è tempo di incorporare il verde - anche in una tonalità meno usuale per l'abbigliamento come il Greenery - nel nostro stile di ogni giorno, e se pensate che sia troppo strano, potete indossarlo ugualmente restando nella vostra comfort zone: il verde militare e il verde smeraldo sono tonalità classiche ed è quasi impossibile non imbattersi in qualche capo che vi piaccia in questi colori !. Personalmente adoro gli abiti a camicia e ne amerei uno color military green, da portare sotto ad un cardigan adesso e in primavera senza. Ho inoltre già una gonna plissé verde smeraldo e la indosserò sicuramente di nuovo, magari abbinandovi diverse sfumature dello stesso colore per un piacevole effetto gradiente. In generale, il verde oliva/miliare è perfetto sulle tonalità di pelle più scure, mentre le pelli chiare come la mia staranno meglio con colori intensi e brillanti come lo smeraldo, ma a me piace indossare tutte le sfumature di verde. Voi cosa ne pensate del verde e, in particolare, del Greenery ? Secondo voi la scelta di Pantone è stata giusta ?
