Before leaving for my Easter holidays, I gave a look at the weather forecast for those days, and it said cold and rain. Since when life gives us lemons, we're supposed to make a lemonade with them, I thought it would be a good chance to wear my Hunter boots, so I quickly packed them !.
I was all ready for a storm in this casual outfit, on a small stony beach, but even though the sky was cloudy, there was a pleasant light and it didn't rain until late afternoon. The place is very peaceful, only a few people around, not a very touristic hangout, especially in that time of the year and with that weather, and we took these pics right before having one of the tasties lunches of my life at famous Restaurant "Lo Scoglio" in Nerano.
Prima di partire per le vacanze di Pasqua, consultando le previsioni metereologiche, ho letto che oltre a fare freddo, avrebbe anche piovuto. Siccome dovremmo cercare di trovare il lato positivo in tutto, ho pensato fosse una buona occasione per portare con me i miei Hunter boots, e così li ho messi velocemente tra i bagagli !.
Ero preparata ad un temporale, mentre camminavo sulla spiaggia di sassi, ma c'era una piacevole luce e la pioggia ha atteso per cadere fino al tardo pomeriggio. Il luogo era veramente pacifico e incantevole, solo poche persone in giro, non troppo turistico, specialmente in quel periodo dell'anno e con quel tempo, e abbiamo scattato queste foto prima di pranzare al famoso ristorante "Lo Scoglio" a Nerano.

The hills surrounding this lovely beach were covered with a thick fog, and I was happy to have my cotton beanie with me, as fog and my hair don't go very well together !. I decided I'd go for a green sweatshirts from Zara together with a simple pair of skinny jeans. I also added some color with a fantasy printed scarf (from Zara). I keep buying scarves because I think they can really turn a simple outfit into something more special.
Le colline che circondavano questa adorabile spiaggia erano coperte da una fitta nebbia, e sono stata felice di poter indossare il mio cappellino in felpa, dato che nebbia e capelli non vanno molto d'accordo !.
Ho deciso di indossare una semplice felpa verde di Zara insieme a degli skinny. Ho indossato una sciarpa a fantasia, sempre di Zara, per aggiungere un po' di colore. Ho tante sciarpe perché le considero un elemento importante per rendere un po' speciale anche un outfit semplicissimo come questo.
One of the bags I decided to bring with me for my holidays is this Longchamp cuir bag (see pic above), one of my latest purchases as you probably already know from a previous post. I love it, it's from Le Pliage range and it folded so easily in my luggage. I think it look so good with the scarf and also with Hunter boots - it's casual but it has some elegance at the same time.
Una delle borse che ho deciso di portare con me per questa piccola vacanza è la Longchamp in pelle (foto sopra), uno dei miei ultimi acquisti, come probabilmente già saprete in uno dei miei ultimi post. La adoro, è della linea Le Pliage e si ripiega perfettamente, entrando senza problemi in valigia. Credo che stia molto bene con la sciarpa e anche con gli Hunter - è casual ma non troppo.
Surely, this outfit was perfect for a walk on the stony beach, it was indeed very comfortable, Hunters were really a good purchase, they aren't just rain boots, and I am also happy I got them in this classic color. Do you own a pair of Hunter boots or any similar wellington boots ?.
Straight after the walk, we had this amazing lunch with delicious food (their spaghetti with courgettes are a famous dish in this small village, the recipe is kept secret and they are by far one of the best courses I have ever had in my life !), I couldn't help snapping a few pics with my own camera, I didn't post them on Instagram as my iPhone was useless (no signal) in this corner of Paradise, and even though I am addicted to the net, I have to say I enjoyed a much "slower" and relaxing day, for a change !.
Sicuramente, questo outfit si è rivelato perfetto per una passeggiata sulla spiaggia di ciottoli ! Molto comodo, gli Hunter sono stati un ottimo acquisto, non sono semplici stivali da pioggia, e sono anche felice di averli scelti in questo colore classico. E voi, avete un paio di Hunter o di calosce simili ?.
Subito dopo la passeggiata, abbiamo pranzato con cibo delizioso (gli spaghetti alle zucchine sono tipici di queste parti, la ricetta è segreta e sono tra i piatti più buoni mai mangiati in vita mia !), non ho potuto fare a meno di scattare qualche foto con la mia macchinetta, non pubblicate su Instagram perché l'iPhone non funzionava in questo angolo di Paradiso (assenza di segnale), e sebbene io adori essere sempre connessa a internet, ammetto di essermi goduta quelle ore di una giornata più "lenta" e riposante del solito !.
