L'Eau d'Issey is by far one of my favorite fragrances ever; launched in 1992 from Issey Miyake Parfums, this iconic fragrance with an aquatic character, evoking the scent of water on the skin of a woman, is now ready for a second chapter in its history with the brand new L'Eau d'Issey PureEau de Parfum. A refined bouquet of flowers is captured in a pure drop of water and creates suspended moments, out of time. A fresh marine accord - thanks to Maritima, an exclusive molecule evoking salty sea breeze - is followed from orange blossom, damask rose, jasmine and lily with the addition of the sensual touch of grey amber and musky cashmere wood. This combination creates a complex aquatic and fresh Eau de Parfum, sophisticated but, at the same time, very wearable, elegant in its purity and more sensual compared to the classic version.

Transparent and pure just like its names suggests, L'Eau d'Issey Pure is a seducing fragrance, and the bottle created by Todd Bracher is essential and elegant, sleek and sophisticated just like the scent it contains: curved at the base and crystal clear just like a drop of pure water. Issey Miyake's love for nature is captured in this scent, the water flows creating instants of calm and serenity, simplicity and purety, suspended moments. This elegant scent is really different from all the other fragrances you know - after all, this is a fragrance without citruses, it's very uncommon, personally I find it perfect for summer, it smells clean, fresh, good, of clear sea, of a crystalline and modern elegance that is recognizable without being intrusive. It has a great longevity on my skin and I love to wear it in combo the scented body cream. Once again, my love for Issey Miyake Parfums is confirmed - just think even my husband wears L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme - and I am madly in love with L'Eau d'Issey Pure Eau de Parfum, it's gonna be the fragrance of my summer, with me night and day.
