A high waist floral midi pencil skirt is a very feminine piece of clothing that is perfect for a transition into Spring look. I fell in love with this one - from italian brand Rosè a Pois - so much that I ended up for buying it in two colors. I often buy the same clothes in more colors, especially when I love how they "dress my body". And this one feels really tailor made. I wore it with a lime yellow sweater and glitter ankle boots from Giancarlo Paoli, and went for my Paula Cademartori Faye bag. This is one of those outfits I decided in two minutes, just because the colors feel so good together. I hardly can think in black and white, I live in colors, and I think you already know it from this fashion blog !

Una gonna longuette floreale a vita alta è un capo molto femminile che trovo perfetto anche per un look di transizione nella primavera. Mi sono innamorata di questa gonna - del brand italiano Rosè a Pois - così tanto che ho finito per comprarla in due colori. Mi ritrovo spesso a comprare gli stessi abiti in più gradazioni, specialmente quando mi piace "come mi vestono". Questa sembra davvero fatta su misura. L'ho indossata con un maglione giallo lime e stivaletti glitterati Giancarlo Paoli, e ho abbinato al tutto la mia borsa Faye Paula Cademartori. Questo è quel tipo di outfit che sono solita comporre in due minuti, guidata dai colori. Non riesco a pensare ad uno stile in bianco e nero, io vivo di colori, e credo lo sappiate già dal mio fashion blog !

My pencil skirt is bodycon and the textured jacquard fabric embraces perfectly my curves. Since the skirt is high waisted, I was able to wear a short sweater - to keep the waistline in evidence - and also to wear ankle boots keeping up the proportions of my body. When you are wearing a hip hugging pencil midi skirt, even wearing a bold colored sweater can be a way to keep the proportions balanced. It is, anyway, a very versatile piece of clothing that can be dressed up or down according to where are you going, and it can be a real wardrobe essential. Just think about such a skirt with a simple white shirt and a pair of black pumps: so feminine ! I am not a minimalist fashion blogger, therefore I sported glitter ankle boots - let me remind you glitter keeps being a hot trend also for Spring/Summer 2016 - with this mid calf lenght skirt, together with a modern color block with geometric shapes: the outfit is served ! La mia gonna longuette è aderente e la stoffa strutturata jacquard abbraccia perfettamente le mie curve. Dato che la gonna è a vita alta, sono stata in grado di abbinarla ad un maglione corto - per mantenere il punto vita in evidenza - e a portare stivaletti riuscendo a mantenere inalterate le proporzioni del corpo. Quando si indossa una longuette aderente sui fianchi, anche indossare un maglione dal colore vivace può essere un modo per bilanciare le proporzioni. Si tratta, comunque, di un capo molto versatile che può essere reso più elegante o più casual a seconda dell'occasione, e costituire un elemento essenziale nel nostro guardaroba. Basta pensare ad una gonna del genere con una semplice camicia bianca e un paio di decolleté nere: femminilità allo stato puro ! Io, che non sono una fashion blogger minimalista, ho sfoggiato stivaletti glitterati - e vi ricordo che il glitter continua a essere un trend per le scarpe anche per la Primavera/Estate 2016 - con questa gonna al polpaccio, insieme ad un color block moderno dal taglio geometrico: l'outfit è servito !
