Orange cardigan and...sunglasses !

So, I put my big sunglasses on and smiled at my husband. He smiled back, commenting that my sunnies were a bit weird and saying they wouldn't surely go unnoticed, even more because we weren't directed to Fashion Week but to a simple restaurant (his words !). I knew he wasn't going to like my idea, and probably also a couple of friends ;)...but since in life you have to go after what you want and usually we want what we shouldn't have...I went out with my big sunnies and I confess I had some fun ! ;-).

Stavo per limitarmi ad aggiungere un tocco di colore ad outfit principalmente nero indossando un cardigan arancio, ma prima di uscire ho avuto un'altra delle mie brillanti idee per "the husband series": perché non aggiungere anche un paio di occhialoni arancio per rendere l'outfit più spiritoso ?.

Ho inforcato i miei occhialoni e mi sono presentata, sorridente, a mio marito, che ha ovviamente avuto da ridire sul fatto che gli occhiali fossero eccentrici e si facessero notare un po' troppo, tanto più che non stavamo andando alla Fashion Week ma ad un semplice pranzo (parole sue !). Sapevo già che non avrebbe approvato e con lui probabilmente un paio di amiche ;)...ma siccome nella vita si desidera di più ciò che non si dovrebbe avere, sono uscita con i miei occhiali strani, e mi sono anche divertita ! ;-).

I like orange so much, and I was happy to notice it's trending also in new Spring/Summer collections. This cardigan is from Only and the color is very bright, love it !. The bodycon woolen dress underneath is from Elisabetta Franchi and it features a removable brooch shaped as a bow.

Mi piace molto l'arancione, e sono stata felice di constatare che è un colore molto di moda anche per le collezioni Primavera/Estate. Questo cardigan di Only è di un arancio molto acceso, lo amo ! L'abito in lana aderente a coste è di Elisabetta Franchi ed è semplice, ha solo una spilla removibile a forma di fiocchetto. 

I decided to use for the first time my Zara perspex bag featuring a striped pouch inside (see details below). As boots, I went for cuissardes leather boots, in my shoe closet from a long time.

Ho deciso di optare, per la sua prima uscita, per la clutch in plexiglass di Zara (i dettagli sotto), che ha una pochette a righe bianche e nere all'interno. Ho indossato dei cuissards di pelle nera, da parecchio tempo nella mia scarpiera.

I was also wearing a black beanie, you can see it in some of the pics. As lipstick, I went for one of my fave MAC lippies: Vegas Volt.
At the end of the day my hubby got used to seeing me wearing these sunnies and he said he had changed his opinion... Mission accomplished ! At least, until next time...;)

Portavo anche un beanie nero, che potete vedere in alcune foto. Come rossetto, ho scelto uno dei miei preferiti di MAC: Vegas Volt.
Alla fine della giornata, mio marito si era abituato a vedermi portare questi occhiali e ha ammesso di aver cambiato opinione...Missione compiuta ! Almeno fino alla prossima volta...;)
