Sequin appliques: how to wear them

Since my childhood, I have always loved sequins. After the initial disappointment of learning that for some unwritten rule, I couldn't go out plastered in sequins during daytime, I focused on something more wearable: I discovered the importance of sequin appliques and how to wear them to give a bit of sparkle to my everyday outfits. This casual everyday look sees me wearing a sequin applique t-shirt from Zara new Spring collection, featuring a cloud and lightning applique, maybe a little premonition of the current rainy weather?. When we took these pics, the sky was sunny blue and I enjoyed wearing my new ray-ban sunglasses, cat-eye shaped, that I found on Sunglasses Shop Italia, online webshop selling luxury brands. This simple outfit featuring faux leather pants and my beloved Max Mara camel coat, was also brightened by a fun Bershka selfie beanie, another example of how sequin appliques can work well also for daytime !. A touch of class was given by my new pearl and crystal necklace and bracelet from Luca Barra.

Fino dall'infanzia, ho sempre amato le paillettes. Dopo una iniziale delusione quando ho scoperto che, per una regola non scritta ma vigente, non me ne potevo andare in giro ricoperta di paillettes durante il giorno, mi sono concentrata su qualcosa di più portabile, ovvero sulle applicazioni in paillettes e su come indossarle per dare un tocco scintillante ai miei outfit quotidiani. Questo look casual mi vede portare una maglia con applicazione a forma di nuvola e fulmine in paillettes della nuova collezione Primaverile Zara, forse una piccola premonizione sull'attuale tempo piovoso ?. Quando queste foto sono state scattate, il cielo era blu e soleggiato e ne ho approfittato per inaugurare i miei nuovi occhiali da sole ray-ban "da gatta", trovati sul negozio online Sunglasses Shop Italia, negozio che vende online occhiali di marche di lusso. Questo semplice outfit con pantaloni in ecopelle ed il mio adorato cappotto cammello Max Maraè stato illuminato anche da un beanie divertente di Bershka, con la scritta Selfie,altro esempio di come le applicazioni in paillettes possano funzionare di giorno !. Un tocco di classe è stato aggiunto dalla mia nuova collana abbinata al bracciale in perle e cristalli Luca Barra.

This sequin sweatshirt is one of the first purchases I made from Zara new collection, straight after these faux leather pants you had already seen in a previous post. My selfie beanie, instead, was bought from Bershka at the beginning of winter. I am not really the queen of selfies, I have to admit I rarely shoot them, I don't think I am all that good. I should be following a course on how to take good selfies, it seems a new olympic sport and as a fashion blogger I must know it, LOL. So, this is what I wore last Saturday, when I went out for some shopping and also bought a few things from Spring/Summer collection, but that's another story. Speaking of Spring/Summer collection, these new entries in my jewelry box are from Luca Barra and I also have a few other things to show you, this new collection is super cute and you can find it on Luca Barra e-shop. New collection also for my makeup, with Chanel Paradisio nail polish and La Romanesque lipstick. I love to wear sunglasses very much - as you surely noticed - and these ray-ban sunglasses also have gradient lenses, perfect even for cloudy weather. Weather, I am not afraid of you !.
