Culottes are the new must have pants for this Summer, did you know it ? I bet you did ! In this new outfit post I am wearing my ethnic print culottes, I decided to wear them for a lunch with hubby in a little town nearby. A trendy and comfortable look for a few hours spent pretending to be a tourist on holiday, forgetting the Office and enjoying a meal on a terrace facing the sea, featuring a white t-shirt, wedges at my feet and my good old red Prada bag.
I wish a good start of the Week to everyone and remember: keep calm and carry on !.

In questo nuovo post outfit ne indosso un paio con stampa etnica che ho deciso di inaugurare per un pranzetto fuori con il maritino, in un paesino nei dintorni. Un look comodo e trendy per trascorrere qualche ora fingendosi turisti in vacanza, dimenticando l'ufficio e godendosi un pasto su una terrazza con vista mozzafiato sul mare, incentrato su una t-shirt bianca, zeppe ai piedi e la mia cara vecchia borsa Prada rossa.

I had been showing you these culottes on Instagram a few days ago, and some of you asked me about them. These ones are from Northland Vicolo and they're perfect for warmest days, their fabric is 100% cotton. I fell in love with the print, so vibrant, and in this case I decided to match them to a white tee I bought at Pimkie. Culottes are a trend I am enjoying a lot, mostly because there's so much to do with them. They can be totally casual but there are also elegant or formal culottes, it depends from the print and the fabric and also on how you style them. Surely, they can be very feminine, especially if the waistline is well defined. In this case, these culottes already came with a striped tie up belt.
Vi avevo mostrato queste culottes su Instagram qualche giorno fa, ed alcune di voi mi avevano già chiesto il brand. Sono Northland Vicolo e sono perfette per le giornate più calde, perché in puro cotone. Mi sono innamorata della stampa così vivace, ed in questo caso ho deciso di abbinare una semplice tee bianca presa da Pimkie. Questo trend delle culottes mi piace, soprattutto perché ci si può sbizzarrire con le idee e gli abbinamenti ! Possono essere un capo molto casual ma possono anche diventare eleganti o formali, dipende dal tessuto, dalla stampa e da come vengono abbinate. Sicuramente, sono un capo molto femminile, specialmente se strette in vita. In questo caso, c'era già una cintura a righe da stringere.
I see fashion blog themed tees more and more in shops. This one is from Pimkie. Surely, this fashion blog phenomenon is getting really popular. There are good and bad things about it, but I am a positive person and I always try to focus on the good sides. I started this blog in 2011 and my main goal is to express myself and share what I like. I think having an interest in fashion is a blessing in my case, it is also so helpful in relieving myself from stress caused by my non-fashionable office work !.
Si vedono t-shirts a tema fashion blog sempre di più, nei negozi. Questa l'ho presa da Pimkie. Sicuramente, questo fenomeno del fashion blogging sta diventando anche fin troppo popolare e ci sono sia lati positivi che negativi in questo, ma io per natura tendo a focalizzarmi su quanto ci sia di positivo. Ho iniziato questo blog nel 2011 e il mio scopo principale è quello di esprimermi e condividere ciò che mi piace. I cerchi della stampa dei pantaloni mi hanno ricordato da subito quelli della mia bellissima collana Vitti Ferria Contin. I gioielli Vitti Ferria Contin sono tra i miei preferiti e so di poter contare su di loro per aggiungere un tocco chic ai miei look. Ho deciso di scegliere, come borsa, la mia vecchia ma ancora affidabile tote rossa Prada.
I betrayed my stiletto heels for a pair of comfy wedges, and I did the right thing since hubby and I had a long walk on descending roads (well, we also had to climb up, but I am a bit weird on this, I hate to descend when I am wearing heels, whereas I have no problems climbing up ! LOL !). These ones are from Steve Madden and I chose them for their neutral color.
Ho tradito volentieri i tacchi a spillo per un paio di comode zeppe, facendo la cosa giusta dato che io e mio marito abbiamo fatto una lunga camminata su strade in discesa (e poi in salita, ma io sono strana, odio le discese con i tacchi, mentre non ho mai problemi a salire ! LOL !).
Queste zeppe in suede sono Steve Madden e le ho scelte per il loro colore piuttosto neutro.
I have also another pair of culottes pants, they're pretty elegant and I am gonna wear them in a more elegant way so that I will show you another version of the same piece of clothing.

Ho anche un paio più elegante di pantaloni dal taglio simile, ve li mostrerò presto in modo da farvi vedere un'altra versione dello stesso capo. Intanto, sono curiosa di sapere se avete comprato anche voi un paio di culottes o ne state meditando l'acquisto, magari ai saldi ?.
