Hey everyone, how are you doing ? Are you ready for Easter holidays ? The weather has been really bad in these past few days, it's been raining and the air is really fresh again, therefore to celebrate Easter holidays I thought about posting a very Spring inspired look, with pics taken only a week ago, featuring a pencil skirt in floral print with peplum hem, an azure top and a couple of statement pieces: my pink mules shoes and my pink, wonderful Sodini necklace !.

Il meteo è stato davvero cattivo in questi ultimi giorni, dalle mie parti, ha piovuto tanto e l'aria si è rinfrescata notevolmente, ma per celebrare l'arrivo delle festività ho pensato di postare un outfit davvero primaverile, con foto scattate solo pochi giorni fa, nelle quali indosso una gonna a fiori longuette con arricciatura sul fondo, un top azzurro ed un paio di accessori davvero particolari: le mie scarpe rosa modello "sabot" e la mia meravigliosa collana rosa Sodini bijoux !.

My love for statement pieces seems to grow with time, and even more in Spring/Summer. I feel like wearing clothes and accessories that put me in a good mood, and this necklace is surely one of them. It's from Sodini bijoux Spring/Summer 2014 collection, and has both rinhestones and spikes that make it both romantic and rock. I love it !.
The pink of the necklace matches the floral print on my skirt. This pencil skirt with peplum hem is one of the many purchases made on Asos. I fell in love with it at first sight, plus it's really different from all the other skirts I got.
Il mio amore per i capi particolari sembra aumentare con il tempo, e si fa sentire maggiormente in Primavera/Estate. Mi piace indossare abiti e portare accessori che mi mettano di buon umore, ed è proprio questo il caso di questa collana. E' della collezione Sodini bijoux Primavera/Estate 2014, e presenta pietre colorate di rosa e piccoli "spuntoni" che la rendono sia romantica che rock, la adoro !.
Il rosa della collana si abbina alla stampa della mia gonna. Questa longuette aderente con riccio sul fondo è uno dei miei tanti acquisti su Asos. Me ne sono innamorata a prima vista, è davvero diversa da tutte le altre gonne che ho e proprio la sua particolarità mi ha attirata.

When I asked myself what I should be pairing to this skirt, I knew I didn't want it to be black - too easy. I thought about this cute azure top I recently bought from Zara, and yes, it worked. I love the shape of this blouse, especially the hem, plus the lenght was the right one to wear on such a pencil skirt with a peplum hem. Thank you Mr Zara, you did it again !.
Always from Zara, the mini "bonsoir" crossbody bag you see in these pics. They also have a red version with "bonjour". I was so torn between those two, and I ended up buying both ! ;)
Quando mi sono chiesta cosa stesse bene sulla gonna, sapevo di non volerci abbinare un top nero, troppo facile !. Ho pensato subito a questa adorabile blusa presa tempo prima da Zara, ed ha funzionato. Mi piace molto il taglio di questo top, con il fondo "frastagliato", inoltre la lunghezza era quella giusta per abbinarla ad una gonna dalla forma così particolare, stretta e con un riccio sul fondo. Grazie Mr Zara, sei sempre di grande aiuto !.
Sempre Zara, la mini borsa a tracolla "bonsoir" che vedete in queste foto. Hanno anche una versione rossa con "bonjour". Ero indecisa tra le due, così indecisa che ho finito per prenderle entrambe ! ;)

Surely the weirdest piece in this whole look are my pink shoes. Fashion says mules are back, and I don't wanna buy mules because they are a hot trend again. Most of mules are ugly, and I don't mind buying them. I bought these ones because I like them, I liked the color, the roses on the front, and I couldn't stop looking at them, at their weirdness. Even hubby likes them, even tho he calls them "Pierrot's shoes", LOL !.
I had absolutely no clue how to wear them, but when I was in front of the mirror with this skirt on, I knew what I had to do, and put them on. Now, these little shoes put me in a good mood, in a Spring mood, and in the best moods of all, the "I dress the way I like" mood !.

Sicuramente, il pezzo più strano di questo look sono le mie scarpe rosa. La moda ci fa sapere che le mules, o sabot, sono tornate dopo anni di assenza. La maggior parte dei sabot sono brutti, e a me non importa che siano di moda. Ho comprato queste scarpe in particolare perché mi piacevano, mi piace il colore, le rose sul davanti, non riuscivo a smettere di guardarle, la loro stranezza mi attirava. Le ha approvate anche mio marito, ma non gli ha impedito di soprannominarle "scarpe di Pierrot", LOL.
Non avevo la minima idea di come le avrei abbinate, ma quando mi sono trovata davanti allo specchio con questa gonna, non ho avuto dubbi, e le ho calzate. Scarpine come queste mi mettono di buon umore, in umore Primaverile, e nel migliore degli umori, quello che dice "Mi vesto come piace a me" !.

An azure Essie nail polish and my blue Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses completed this colorful look. Since the necklace was such a statement one, I didn't wear other eye catching bracelets or rings.
That's all for now. Now I am ready for a couple of days off from work, and a bit of well deserved relax with hubby.
Are you going to do anything special for Easter ? Whatever you will end up for doing, I know a thing: you can never be too old for chocolate Easter eggs, and for dressing up in a fun way !.
Uno smalto azzurro Essie e i miei occhiali da sole blu Marc by Marc Jacobs hanno completato questo look coloratissimo. Data l'importanza della collana, ci sono andata leggera con bracciali e anelli ;).
E' tutto per oggi. Ora sono davvero pronta per qualche giorno lontana dal lavoro, ed un po' di meritato relax con il maritino.
