Ops, I did it again ! I had been planning a makeup shopping bag that would allow me to splurge over new clothes and accessories for Spring, then I kept receiving messages on my phone and also paper invitation to my favorite stores (Limoni and Sephora), claiming I had a 20% discount and that time was running out.
I tried to resist but then I realized I had to restock some of my usual products. As it always happens, I ended up buying also something else because I just can't resist to new makeup, especially when it's lips related, and this haul is my end of March outcome ;)
Ops, l'ho fatto di nuovo ! Avevo pianificato uno stop agli acquisti di profumeria che mi concedesse di focalizzare tutte le mie risorse su abiti e accessori per la Primavera, poi ho iniziato a ricevere messaggi sul cellulare e anche inviti cartacei a casa da parte dei miei negozi preferiti (Limoni e Sephora), che mi ricordavano del mio sconto del 20% prossimo alla scadenza.
Così, nonostante i buoni propositi, ho ceduto non appena ho ricordato che alcuni dei miei prodotti di uso quotidiano stavano per finire e mi conveniva riassortirli.
Come accade sempre, ho finito per acquistare anche altro, non posso resistere a nuovo makeup, specialmente se si parla di rossetti e gloss. Questo è il bottino di fine marzo ;)
I restocked some of my must-haves for face:
Benefit "They're real !" mascara: some time ago, I betrayed my usual Make Up Forever aqua smoky lash mascara and you know what ? I didn't regret it and I have bought this mascara again, it does wonders to my lashes !
Too Faced is my favorite brand for primers, I use it both on my eyelids as "Shadow Insurance" and under my foundation as "Primed and Poreless". I tried other primers but these ones are the ones that work best on my skin. No breakouts and they help me to keep my makeup intact day to night !.
My foundation is Lingerie de Peau from Guerlain, color is 03 Natural beige and as long as it will be on the market (and I hope it's gonna stay !) I can change so many different kind of foundations, but I know this is THE one for me ! It has good coverage but it's also very light on the skin. I love it !.
I had run out of Touche Eclat from YSL, the iconic pen shaped illuminator, and since I need to brighten my face more than ever, this is a true must have ! I bought it in the fairest color of all, it blends perfectly and helps me to look less tired (and believe me, I truly am !) ;)
Ho riassortito alcuni dei miei must -have per il viso:

Too Facedè il mio brand preferito quando si tratta di primers, lo uso sia come primer per le palpebre come "Shadow Insurance" e sotto al fondotinta come "Primed and Poreless". Ho provato altri primers ma questi sono quelli che funzionano meglio su di me, mi aiutano davvero a mantenere intatto il trucco dalla mattina fino alla sera e non mi danno alcun problema di eruzioni cutanee o irritazione !.
Il mio fondotinta è da anni Lingerie de Peau Guerlain, in colore 03 Natural beige, e fino a che sarà prodotto io so che, sebbene proverò ogni tanto nuovi fondi, tornerò sempre a LUI ! Ha una ottima coprenza pur essendo leggero sulla pelle, non trovo difetti a questo fondo fantastico, per me è il top.
Mi era finito il Touche Eclat, il mitico illuminante a penna YSL, e in questo periodo più che mai sento di averne bisogno, per cui l'ho riassortito ! Ho scelto il colore più chiaro di tutti, si sfuma perfettamente e mi aiuta a sembrare meno stanca di quanto io sia (e lo sono, anche parecchio !).
And now, the new treats ! Since I had plenty of eyeshadows and blushes, I decided to go for something new for my lips and my nails. I got myself two glosses, two lipsticks and a nail polish, here they are:
- Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing lipgloss, in Streak shade. This gloss is very hydrating and the color is a light coral, no glitters but very shiny, I love it. The only thing I don't like as much is the taste, it's pretty strong and kinda minty, but I can get used to it !.
The Chanel products are all from Le Rouge Collection Variation Spring 2014, based on the plums family:
- Chanel Glossimer in 182 - Tocade, it's a plum gloss, it has a lot of pigmentation

- Rouge Allure lipstick in 145 - Rayonnante, a deep fuchsia with mauve shimmer, it also looks great underneath the gloss
- Chanel Le Vernis Coup de Coeur 609, a pretty and sophisticated pink-berry
I also managed to buy one of the new Estee Lauder lipsticks, Pure Color Envy Sculpting lipstick in 320 - Defiant Coral. It's a bright, very warm pink coral, very pigmented and hydrating lipstick. It's also long wearing and I've been sporting it already in my pics, you'll see it soon ;)
E adesso, le novità !. Dato che ho già un grande arsenale di ombretti e blush, ho deciso di scegliere qualcosa di nuovo per le labbra e le unghie. Ho finito per comprare due gloss, due rossetti ed uno smalto, ovvero:
- Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing lipgloss, nel colore Streak. Questo è un gloss molto idratante e di un color corallo chiaro, senza brillantini, ma molto lucido, lo adoro. L'unica cosa che non amo molto è il suo sapore, abbastanza forte e tendente al menta, ma posso abituarmici !.
I prodotti Chanel sono tutti della collezione Variation Spring 2014, basata sui toni del prugna:
- Chanel Glossimer 182 - Tocade, un gloss lucido e molto pigmentato nei toni del prugna
- Rouge Allure lipstick in 145 - Rayonnante, un fucsia intenso con riflessi malva, molto bello anche insieme al gloss
- Chanel Le Vernis Coup de Coeur 609, un rosa-mirtillo molto bello e sofisticato, molto simile ai colori del gloss e del rossetto
Ho acquistato anche uno dei nuovi rossetti Estee Lauder, Pure Color Envy Sculpting lipstick in 320 - Defiant Coral. E' un rosa corallo vivace e molto caldo, molto pigmentato ed idratante. E' a lunga durata e ho già avuto modo di apprezzarlo uscendo, lo vedrete presto "indossato" ;)
