In days like today, when the sun has been shining, I always manage to have a walk on the seaside. I've always been in love with the sea, since my early years, I am totally fascinated by the shades of blue that surround me when I go there, I feel so relaxed.
It took me some more time to get fond of blue colored clothes, but I am now a great fan of this color, that I love to wear in its different shades, just like I do in this almost all blue outfit, featuring a faux leather midi skirt and my faux fur jacket. Leather and fur are faux, but the blu is really...true !.
In giornate come queste, con il sole che splende, cerco sempre di fare una passeggiata in riva al mare, di cui sono perdutamente innamorata da sempre. Il blu del mare e del cielo mi fanno stare bene, mi rilassano, fin da quando ero una bambina. Mi ci è voluto più tempo per innamorarmi del blu come colore di capi da indossare, ma ne sono adesso una grande fan e amo portarlo nelle sue svariate sfumature, proprio come faccio in questo outfit quasi tutto blu come la mia gonna midi in ecopelle e l'eco-pellicciotto. La pelle e la pelliccia sono false, ma il blu è tutto...vero !.

One thing you can be sure about is that whenever you are walking by the sea, it's pretty windy, and this time, in spite of the sun, the wind was also pretty chilly. Luckily, I was wearing my blue faux fur jacket, that is short enough to look good on a midi skirt like this one, bought on Asos. This midnight blue wrap kilt midi skirt is made in leather-look fabric. Faux leather and fur are nowadays very common and they can look as good as the true thing, plus they can be a good option for many reasons, moreover, for many people that refuse to wear any animal related product, they are a precise choice. I decided to wear dark blue tights similar to the color of the jacket.
Una cosa di cui si può essere certi è che ogni volta che andrai a camminare in riva al mare, sarà ventoso, e questa volta, nonostante il sole, il vento era anche piuttosto freddo. Per fortuna, indossavo il mio pellicciotto blu, corto abbastanza da stare bene su una gonna midi come questa, presa su Asos. Questa gonna modello kilt color blu notte è in un tessuto simile alla vera pelle. Eco-pelle e pelliccia sono oggigiorno molto diffuse e possono avere un aspetto gradevole tanto quanto i capi "veri", inoltre sono un'opzione da non trascurare per molti motivi, e rappresentano una scelta precisa per coloro che rifiutano di indossare capi di origine animale. Ho scelto di abbinare alla gonna calze blu scuro simili al colore del pellicciotto.
As bag of choice, I went for my beloved Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C. cluctch. M.A.C. stands for morning after clutch, in case some of you didn't know it, because this is a perfect bag both for daytime and for the evening, and it's roomy enough so that I can bring my mini iPad with me !. I love its sunflower yellow color and I am a fan of the yellow and blue combo, it always works (and guys at Ikea know it, just look at their uniform LOL !).
Come borsa, ho scelto la mia adorata MAC Rebecca Minkoff. M.A.C. in questo caso sta per clutch del mattino dopo, perché si tratta di una borsa adatta sia per il giorno che per la sera, ed è abbastanza spaziosa da consentirmi di portare con me il mio iPad mini !. Mi piace molto il giallo carico di questa borsa e sono da sempre una sostenitrice dell'accoppiata giallo e blu, funziona sempre (e da Ikea lo sanno, se date un'occhiata all'uniforme di chi ci lavora, LOL !).
I am slowly starting to wear some of my new purchases, like this Infinity sweatshirt I bought at Pull&Bear. I can spend a lot of time inside this shop, even my hubby, one of the most patient men in the world when it comes to going shopping with their women, starts feeling sick when we enter Pull&Bear. I chose this sweatshirt for the beautiful shade of blue and also, I like the word Infinity...plus, its lenght is perfect for midi skirts. A maxi sweatshirt would look awful with such a skirt, and crop tops aren't really my cup of tea.
Sto lentamente iniziando ad indossare alcuni nuovi acquisti, come questa felpa con la scritta "Infinity" comprata da Pull&Bear. Posso passare una infinità di tempo in questo negozio, persino mio marito, uno dei dententori del guinness dei primati quando si tratta di accompagnare la propria donna a fare shopping, si scoraggia dopo un po'. Ho scelto questa felpa sia per la bella sfumatura di blu che per la scritta...inoltre, è della lunghezza perfetta per le mie (tante) gonne midi. Una maxi felpa starebbe malissimo con una gonna del genere e i crop tops non sono più alla mia portata.
I chose to wear my Fabi purple ankle boots that you can see better in the pic below. This is a look I'd totally also wear with sneakers for a more casual twist, or with biker boots, but also with pumps, lol.
Ho scelto di calzare gli ankle boots in camoscio viola scuro Fabi, che potete vedere meglio nella foto sotto. Questo è, comunque, un look che porterei anche con un paio di sneakers per evidenziarne il lato casual, o con i bikers, ma persino con le pumps...ok, basta, lol.
I chose to play with shades of blue wearing a blue statement necklace and sunglasses with blue mirrored lenses. On my nails I had a pastel yellow nail polish and I went for red lipstick again (Givenchy), I told you it's my obsession !.
I felt more relaxed thanks to this walk. Is there also a place that makes you feel good, where you enjoy having a walk to free your mind ? Mind you that shops don't count !.
Ho deciso di giocare ancora con le sfumature di blu indossando una statement necklace blu e occhiali da sole con lenti specchiate dello stesso colore. Sulle unghie portavo uno smalto giallo pastello e ho scelto un rossetto rosso (Givenchy), ancora una volta, vi avevo detto che è un'ossessione !.
Dopo questa passeggiata mi sono sentita subito più rilassata. C'è anche per voi un posto che vi fa stare particolarmente bene, dove vi piace fare una passeggiata per liberare la mente ? Rispondere i negozi non vale, mi raccomando !.
