Did you recover well from Valentine's Day ? :) I am pretty fine, I received a bunch of flowers and a bunch of...shoes, and I am all happy because the sun has been shining in the past couple of days, I needed it after so much rain !. This time I am here to show you an elegant outfit, featuring a baroque print bodycon dress and a cute little white coat from Chicwish.

Vi siete ripresi bene da San Valentino ? :) Io sto benone, ho ricevuto sia un mazzo di rose che di...scarpe, e soprattutto sono felice perché negli ultimi giorni stiamo avendo un bel sole, ne sentivo il bisogno dopo tanta, troppa pioggia !. Questa volta vi mostro un outfit elegante, con un abito aderente a fantasia barocca ed un cappottino bianco preso su Chicwish.

I had been looking for a white coat for quite a long time. I've got plenty of black coats, but I still needed a white one. This winter I have been obsessed with coats more than ever, and luckily I found a few amazing coats and jackets, just like this one I got from Chicwish, one of my favorite online webshops. I like the trendy mid-sleeve lenght and the peter pan collar, and I am sure I am gonna wear it a lot. Also the lenght of this coat is perfect, it goes well with a dress but also with pants.
Ero in cerca di un bel cappotto bianco da un po' di tempo. Ho tanti cappotti neri, ma il bianco mi mancava. Questo inverno sono stata veramente ossessionata dai capi spalla, più di sempre, e fortunatamente ho scovato un bel po' di bei capi, proprio come questo che ho preso su Chicwish, uno dei miei negozi online preferiti. Mi piace molto la manica a tre quarti, molto trendy e chic, e il collo rotondo, e sono certa di poterlo sfruttare molto. Trovo perfetta anche la lunghezza del cappottino, sta bene su di un abitino ma anche con i pantaloni.

I wanted to keep this outfit chic and simple, so I didn't add many colors, for a change ;).
Ai piedi avevo i miei nuovi stivaletti neri Giampaolo Viozzi, di pelle morbidissima e con il tacco a spillo, è difficile trovare qualcosa con cui non stiano bene, proprio come per la mia Givenchy Antigona. Volevo mantenermi chic e semplice, così ho evitato i troppi colori questa volta, per cambiare ;).
The opulent baroque trend has been seen a lot on the runaways in these past few years. You can't say baroque print without thinking about vintage Versace, but also Dolce & Gabbana, Etro and other designers rocked this print, that can also be found in a low cost version.
I fell in love with this little Sweewe Paris baroque mini dress in pinkish beige and black and I decided to wear it with opaque tights, because as every reader of this blog knows, I suffer the cold weather ;).
Il trend del barocco, delle stampe opulente, è stato visto molto sulle passerelle negli ultimi anni. Non si può dire barocco senza pensare a stampe vintage Versace, ma anche Dolce & Gabbana, Etro e altri designer hanno esaltato questo tipo di fantasie, che si possono trovare anche in versione low cost.
Mi sono innamorata di questo mini abito Sweewe Paris in beige rosato e nero e ho deciso di portarlo con calze coprenti, perché, come ormai ogni lettore di questo blog sa bene, soffro il freddo ;).
This dress has a bodycon cut that brings out the curves of your body, therefore it's the kind of dress my hubby prefers on me. I'll wear anything, from large egg shaped dresses to bodycon ones, as long as I like them. I do my best to keep myself in shape and also to eat well and exercise, but I think being proud of your natural woman curves is a good thing. When I was a teenager I wanted to hide all my curves, I thought the more a woman was "flat looking", the more she'd be good looking. I learned to appreciate the body curves with time, and now my ideal is being toned, thin and having curves at the same time, which is the most difficult thing, anyway !. Being confident in our body is something us, women, can take an entire life to achieve, don't you agree ?.
Questo abito ha un taglio aderente che esalta le curve del corpo, ed è il tipo di abito che mio marito preferisce su di me. Io indosso ogni tipo di taglio, dagli abiti informi a quelli aderenti, mi piacciono stili diversi. Faccio del mio meglio per tenermi in forma, mangiare bene ed allenarmi, ma credo che essere orgogliose delle curve naturali del corpo femminile sia un fatto positivo. Quando ero una teenager, volevo nascondere le curve del corpo, pensavo erroneamente che una donna più era "piatta", più era bella. Ho imparato ad apprezzare le curve del corpo con il tempo, e adesso il mio ideale è essere tonica e magra ma con le curve, che è comunque la cosa più difficile da mantenere !. Avere la giusta percezione del proprio corpo è un processo che, per noi donne, può impiegare una vita intera, non siete d'accordo ?.

I couldn't help adding a statement necklace to this outfit, I went for faux pearls and big grey and white rhinestones. I love it how pearls, faux or real, can give "light" to any outfit.
I also had a statement bracelet with a baroque print, and I went for a bright red lipstick, same color as my nail polish. I got too addicted to red lip color, I am hardly using other colors now ! That's all, folks...See you soon with a totally different kind of look ;).
Non potevo fare a meno di aggiungere una statement necklace a questo look, ho scelto una collana di perle false con grandi pendenti con pietre in grigio e bianco. Mi piace come le perle diano luce ad ogni outfit, che siano vere o...false !.
Avevo anche un braccialetto con fantasia barocca, e ho scelto il rosso come colore sia del rossetto che dello smalto. Sono diventata dipendente dal rosso, riesco a malapena ad usare altri tipi di rossetto ! Passo e chiudo, ci vediamo presto con un outfit totalmente diverso ;).
