Today's outfit is, like most of my looks, very colorful, and is featuring a floral short dress that made me think about an impressionist painting as soon as I saw it. I thought this lovely dress that is elegant, modern and eye catching, would be the perfect match for my new jewelry pieces, a wonderful statement necklace and bracelet from Mercantia, an italian brand producing beautiful and high quality jewelry. Flowers on the dress and on my necklace, a mixture of colors that is really appropriate to brighten a dull Fall day !.
L'outfit di oggi è, come la maggior parte dei miei look, molto colorato, basato su un abitino corto a fiori che mi ha fatta pensare ad un quadro impressionista non appena l'ho visto. Ho pensato che questo adorabile vestito, elegante, moderno e molto particolare, fosse un abbinamento perfetto per le mie due new entries in fatto di gioielli, una meravigliosa accoppiata collana e bracciale di Mercantia, un brand di accessori italiano che produce gioielli molto belli e di alta qualità. Fiori sull'abito e sulla mia collana, in un mix di colori adatto a per rischiarare una grigia giornata autunnale !.

I will never get tired enough to say that I believe that accessories do make the difference in our looks, and with a necklace and a bracelet that beautiful I couldn't help feeling elegant and stylish, my theory is confirmed ! Just look at how beautiful these two pieces are: Amélie necklace and Salome bracelet have beautiful colors and are styled in every little detail, just look at how the clasp of the necklace is so well refined and even has a tiny stone on it !. I was so eager to wear these beauties that I decided to use them both. I think the result is delicate and elegant in spite of both the pieces being very eye catching, because they are classy.
Non mi stancherò mai di ripetere che sono gli accessori a fare la vera differenza nei nostri look, ed una collana e un bracciale così belli non possono che confermare la mia teoria ! Potete ammirarli meglio nella foto sopra; la collana Amélie e il bracciale Salome hanno dei colori stupendi e sono curati in ogni piccolo dettaglio, basti guardare come la chiusura della collana sia bella e rifinita, sormontata da una piccola pietra. Non vedevo l'ora di indossare questi splendori, così ho pensato di metterli entrambi e credo il risultato sia delicato ed elegante in quanto si tratta di due articoli molto appariscenti ma, allo stesso tempo, di classe.
These lilac metallic pumps from Fabi are one of the latest addition in my shoe closet. I love them, the design is very modern and stylish and they make great party shoes and also can be worn under a pair of skinny jeans for a fresh daily look. I have this crush on colorful shoes that keeps going on...and, of course, I am always happier when the color of my shoes does NOT match my bag !. The rule I go by is that both shoes and bag should match the clothes, instead...and just look at this simple clutch and the touches of red of the dress. It took me one minute to pick it up !.
Queste scarpe color lilla metallizzato di Fabi sono una delle ultime aggiunte alla mia scarpiera. Le adoro, hanno una linea molto moderna e stilosa e rappresentano delle ottime scarpe "da party", oltre ad essere perfette anche sotto ad un paio di jeans skinny per un look da giorno molto fresco. Ho questa fissazione per le scarpe colorate che peggiora sempre più...e, ovviamente, sono sempre più felice se il colore delle mie scarpe NON è abbinato a quello della borsa !.
La regola che seguo solitamente è che scarpe e borsa debbano, invece, abbinarsi agli indumenti...guardate questa semplice clutch e i tocchi di rosso dell'abito. Mi ci è voluto un solo minuto per sceglierla !.
From Mercantia's Facebook Page, I have read that they produce both statement and more "eccentric" jewels and more classic and minimalistic ones, because this brand is aiming at all women, of any age and for any moment of the day. I like this way of thinking, because I am a very versatile person and I feel this need to change my look according to my mood, even tho my first choice is often for the most original and eye catching designs !. I will surely wear more accessories from this brand, that produces also a wide range of earrings, but since I wear them like twice a year and my ears are not pierced, I usually prefer - in this order - necklaces, bracelets and rings. What kind of jewels do you usually like to buy the most ?.
Dalla pagina Facebook di Mercantia, ho letto che producono gioielli sia particolari e più "trasgressivi" che pezzi più classici e minimalisti, perché il brand si rivolge a tanti tipi di donne, di ogni età e per ogni occasione. Mi piace questo modo di pensare, anche perché sono una persona molto versatile e ho sempre bisogno di cambiare il look a seconda del mio umore, sebbene la mia prima scelta si orienti spesso per i pezzi più originali e vistosi !. Indosserò sicuramente altri accessori di questo brand e vi informo che produce anche una vasta gamma di bellissimi orecchini, che difficilmente vedrete su di me solo perché li porterò forse due volte all'anno, non ho i buchi alle orecchie e di solito preferisco, in questo ordine, collane, bracciali e anelli. With such a colorful and well accessorized look, I didn't need anything more than a reddish nail polish on my nails (Chanel Rouge moiré), a reddish lipstick and...my smile !.
Hubby is a big fan of this dress, actually he noticed it even before me, when he came into Zara with me, so I need to mention this, because I am aware not all men have the courage of entering Zara with their women, knowing they don't know exactly how much time they are going to spend in there !. Thanks honey, I bet you can't wait to do it again, right ?! ;-)
Con un look così colorato e ben accessoriato, non ho avuto bisogno di aggiungere molto altro...uno smalto nei toni del rosso sulle unghie (Chanel Rouge moiré), un rossetto altrettanto vivace e...il mio sorriso !.
Il maritino è un grande fan di questo abito, a dire il vero lo ha notato ancora prima di me, quando siamo stati insieme da Zara, è giusto farvelo sapere perché so bene che non tutti gli uomini hanno il coraggio di entrare da Zara con le loro donne, specialmente ignorando quanto tempo ci dovranno trascorrere !. Grazie tesoro, scommetto che non vedi l'ora di farlo di nuovo, giusto ?! ;-)
