As most of you surely know already, one of the biggest trends last year was Kenzo tiger jumper. I didn't buy it then, even tho I liked it. This year, Kenzo's newest design is the eye. I got really hooked on this trend, I have to say I like it a lot, even more than the tiger one, therefore I decided to buy this sweatshirt !. So, let me introduce you to my black Kenzo eye sweatshirt.
I will be wearing it with jeans, black pants, mini skirts...this time I opted for a statement maxi skirt bought on Asos, that somehow reminded me of Kenzo style. I could say...an eye catching look !.
Come molti di voi già sapranno, uno dei trend andati per la maggiore lo scorso anno è stata la maglia con tigre di Kenzo. Non la comprai, sebbene mi piacesse. Quest'anno, il nuovo design di Kenzo riguarda il ricamo di un occhio. Questo disegno mi è piaciuto tanto da subito, anche più della tigre, e ho deciso di cedere alla tentazione di comprare questa felpa nera, che vi presento oggi.
La indosserò con jeans o semplici pantaloni neri, ma anche con minigonne...questa volta ho optato per una maxi gonna particolare presa su Asos, che mi ricordava in qualche modo proprio lo stile Kenzo. Per un look che...salta subito all'occhio !.

This eye sweater was available in three colors: red, white and black. I went for black because I thought it would be easier to match and also to wear in different moments of the day.
There is also an embroidered neoprene version of this sweatshirt, and I have to say I like mine better because neoprene doesn't follow the curves of the body as well as the regular sweatshirt.
I've been keeping an eye on this trend and no matter whether it will fade next year, sometimes a girl has to treat herself with what she likes ;).
Questa felpa era disponibile in tre colori diversi: rosso, bianco e nero. Ho scelto il nero perché secondo me più facilmente abbinabile e anche utilizzabile in diversi momenti della giornata.
C'è anche una versione ricamata in neoprene, ma preferisco la mia perché il neoprene risulta un po' rigido e non segue le linee del corpo come la semplice felpa.
Era da tempo che adocchiavo questo trend e non mi importa se dovesse sparire l'anno prossimo, a volte una ragazza deve viziarsi con qualcosa che le piace senza pensarci troppo ;).
This Asos maxi skirt in floral print had been waiting in my closet for a while. I like the contrast between the light fabric of the skirt and the sweatshirt. I think this print is very beautiful, as you know I love bold colors. I decided to go for a red nail polish and lipstick, in a shade very similar to the skirt color.
Questa maxi gonna a stampa floreale di Asos era da bel po' nel mio guardaroba. Mi piace il contrasto tra la leggerezza della gonna e la felpa. Mi piace molto la stampa, come sapete adoro i colori vivaci. Ho deciso di portare smalto e rossetto di un rosso molto simile a quello della gonna.
With a statement jumper and a statement skirt I had to go for simple accessories: a black clutch, no necklace and black shoes.
This was my first time wearing my Marc Ellis boots, I love them so much because they are combat boots with high heels...perfect for urban style looks, comfortable and stylish at the same time ! See them better in the pic below.
Con una felpa come questa e una gonna vistosa ho dovuto optare per accessori semplici: una clutch nera, nessuna collana e scarpe nere.
E' stata la prima uscita con gli stivali Marc Ellis, li adoro perché sono degli anfibi con il tacco alto...perfetti per look urban style, comodi e stilosi allo stesso tempo ! Potete vederli meglio nella foto sotto.
My jewelry was pretty simple: silver rings, including my infinity ring, and my wedding band and engagement ring that I wear all the time, a few Asos bracelets, Tiffany infinity bracelet and my Michael Kors silver watch. I went for black and white sunglasses with my Marc by Marc Jacobs pair.
I gioielli indossati erano poco vistosi: anelli in argento, incluso quello piccolo con il simbolo infinito, la fede e l'anello di fidanzamento che porto sempre, qualche braccialetto Asos, il braccialetto Infinity Tiffany e il cronografo color argento Michael Kors. Ho scelto occhali in bianco e nero Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Kenzo's latest Fall/Winter collection involves so many things eye related, including coats, shirts, skirts, bags and many other items. I also have another item from this collection, but you'll see it in another post ;).
The finishing in this warm sweater is really amazing, the eye being embroidered and not just printed on it, and I am satisfied with my purchase. Moreover, now that I have my third eye open, I can hope to have a better intuition about the world surrounding me, right ? ;-).
L'ultima collezione Kenzo A/I è composta da tanti capi con la fantasia "occhio", inclusi cappotti, gonne, camicie, gonne, borse e tanti altri articoli. Io ho anche un altro capo di questa collezione, ma ve lo mostrerò più avanti ;).
La rifinitura di questa calda felpa è davvero ottima, l'occhio è ricamato e non solo stampato, e posso dirmi soddisfatta del mio acquisto. In più, ora che ho aperto il mio terzo occhio, posso sperare di avere una maggiore intuizione circa il mondo che mi circonda, giusto ? ;-).
