There are times when dressing up in a tee and shorts, and going out with music in my ears is the best option of all, it means freedom from the stress and negative thoughts. This happens especially when I am on holidays, I love walking around with one of my mp3 players and headphones, knowing I have my favorite songs keeping me company.
This outfit with a background soundtrack is another look I sported in Sorrento during my holidays, featuring my Stradivarius white lace shorts and a green "Nerd" print tee bought on Asos.
Ci sono giorni in cui vestirsi in shorts e maglietta, uscendo con la mia musica nelle orecchie rappresenta l'opzione migliore di tutte, significa sentirsi libera dallo stress e dai pensieri negativi. Ciò accade specialmente quando sono in vacanza, adoro andarmene in giro con uno dei miei lettori mp3 e la cuffia, sapendo che ci sono le mie canzoni preferite a tenermi compagnia.
Questo outfit con sottofondo musicale è stato proposto da me durante le mie vacanze a Sorrento, ed è incentrato sugli shorts in pizzo bianco Stradivarius e una t-shirt con la scritta "Nerd" comprata su Asos.

The espadrillas shoes have been a huge trend this season, and I wasn't too convinced about them, yet I bought one pair in white lace, for quite a bargain price. I wouldn't have bought an expensive pair like the famous Chanel ones, but I wanted to give this trend a chance, and I am happy I did, cause I ended up wearing them more than I would have thought before !. In this outfit the white espadrillas (see them better in the pic below), besides being so comfy for my long walk thru Marina Piccola in Sorrento, helped me to keep it white and green ;)
Le espadrillas sono state uno dei trend più hot per questa stagione, ed io non ero del tutto convinta che mi piacessero, ma ne ho preso questo paio in pizzo bianco, per un prezzo davvero conveniente. Non avrei speso tanto per quelle Chanel, tanto per capirci, ma volevo dare una chance a questa moda, e sono felice di averlo fatto, perché sono finita per usarle più del previsto ! In questo outfit, le espadrillas bianche (i dettagli nella foto sotto) oltre ad essere super comode per la mia lunga passeggiata a Marina Piccola a Sorrento, mi hanno aiutata a mantenere solo i colori bianco e verde ;)
As bag, I opted for my Rebecca Minkoff mini zipper one, I didn't want to go out with a heavy bag and this one was green, so both size and color were perfect !.
I had my Casio Illuminator watch, because after all a nerd would go for it, am I right ? ;-)
Are you curious to know what I was listening ? My mp3 player is stuffed with loads of songs, they go from rap, r'n'b to disco dance, both 70s and 80s music (which I am fond of) and common pop music. I also have a few latin pop songs and merengue/salsa/reggaeton songs, I already told you I am a salsa lover and dancer ;). Do you like listening to the music ? What kind of music do you keep in your mp3 player ?.
Come borsa, ho optato per la mini zipper Rebecca Minkoff, di dimensioni e colore perfetti al mio scopo !. Avevo al polso il mio Casio Illuminator perché dopotutto un nerd sceglierebbe proprio quello, giusto ? ;-)
Siete curiosi di sapere cosa stavo ascoltando ? Il mio lettore mp3 è pieno di canzoni di generi diversi, dal rap, r'n'b alla disco dance, sia anni '70 e '80 (la mia passione) alla comune pop music. Ho anche diverse canzoni latine e merengue/salsa/reggaeton, vi ho già detto che sono amante della salsa sia per l'ascolto che per il ballo ;).

Hubby took loads of landscape pics from the Marina Piccola dock, also because from this place we could see, by far, the villa where we held our wedding reception in 2011...tons of great memories that belong to our story.
It was really a beautiful afternoon and I wish I could have a walk like this one every single day, being in open air in a sunny day is such a mood lifting and the only thing that can keep a wannabe nerd like me away from her pc ! ;-))
Mio marito ha scattato molte foto al paesaggio dalla banchina di Marina Piccola, anche perché da dove ci trovavamo potevamo vedere, sulla scogliera e da lontano, la villa dove si è tenuto il ricevimento del nostro matrimonio nel 2011...un sacco di bei ricordi che appartengono alla nostra storia.
E' stato un pomeriggio molto piacevole e vorrei poter fare un giro come questo ogni giorno, starsene all'aria aperta in una giornata di sole è un vero toccasana per l'umore e l'unica cosa che può far dimenticare il computer ad una aspirante nerd come me ! ;-))
