Every now and then, among a good girl look, a rocker or some other weird kind of outfit, I like to dress up "like a woman", (also to my hubby's delight), and leave it all simple, with a bodycon dress, heels and a clutch. Because simplicity is sexy, at least it's what they say.
In the past, when I wanted to dress up, I used to wear dark, mostly black dresses, until when I found out a little boldly colored dress can be as glamorous and more fun !. I bought this coral jacquard dress at Zara, a perfect dress for a day of holidays, especially if paired with heels of the same energetic color.
Ogni tanto, tra un outfit da brava ragazza, da rocker o qualsiasi altra diavoleria mi venga in mente, mi piace vestirmi semplicemente "da donna", (anche per la gioia di mio marito), con un abitino aderente, i tacchi e una borsa a mano. La semplicità è sexy, almeno è così che dicono.
In passato, quando avevo voglia di vestirmi in modo molto femminile, ero solita indossare soprattutto abiti scuri o proprio neri, fino a che ho scoperto il potere del colore, che può risultare altrettanto glam e più divertente !. Ho comprato questo abito color corallo jacquard da Zara, un abitino perfetto per una giornata di vacanza, specialmente se abbinato a scarpe dello stesso energetico colore.

The clutch is Melissa, this brazilian brand is very well known for its plastic/rubber shoes and for their collaboration with many famous designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Thierry Mugler, but they also produce a range of bags !. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and had to have it. This clutch is from the collection "Melissa Chromatic", see it better in the pic below together with a Sodini bracelet I bought a while ago.
La clutch è Melissa, brand brasiliano molto conosciuto per le scarpe in plastica/gomma e per le collaborazioni con stilisti famosi come Jean-Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood e Thierry Mugler, ma produce anche borse ! Mi sono innamorata di questa borsa non appena l'ho vista e l'ho dovuta comprare. La clutch è della collezione "Melissa Chromatic", potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante, insieme al bracciale di Sodini acquistato tempo fa.

I went to Zara for sales hunting and I found out there are so many things that aren't on sale and anyway most of discounts are around 20%. Did you find anything ? I buy there so often that already, anyway I got myself a blazer 40% off...a coral red one, for a change, LOL !.
The shoes are from Loriblu and my attention got caught up from their color and original embellishment. I think they will look good also with a maxi skirt and a "gipsy" inspired look, don't you think so ?.
Sono stata da Zara per i saldi e ho scoperto che la maggior parte degli articoli non era in saldo e, comunque, gli sconti si aggiravano sul 20%. Voi avete trovato qualcosa ?. Compro da Zara così spesso che non avevo niente in particolare da acquistare, comunque ho preso un blazer al 40%...tanto per cambiare, rosso corallo ! LOL !.
Le scarpe Loriblu hanno catturato la mia attenzione per il colore e le applicazioni, molto particolari. Credo starebbero bene anche con una maxi gonna e un look di ispirazione "gipsy", non credete ?.
A special mention goes to the make up, very coral oriented. I was wearing Essie "cute as button" nail polish on my finger nails, and Nars "Orgasm" blush together with my favorite lipstick of the moment: Estee Lauder pure color long lasting n. 70 "Coral fantasy". Coral is definately one of my favorite shades at this time of the year, is it yours, too ?.
Una menzione speciale va al make up, anche esso nei toni del corallo. Portavo lo smalto Essie "cute as button" sulle unghie delle mani, e sul viso il blush di Nars "Orgasm" oltre al mio rossetto preferito del momento: Estee Lauder pure color long lasting n. 70 "Coral Fantasy". Il color corallo è sicuramente una delle tonalità che preferisco in questo periodo dell'anno, è così anche per voi ?.
